Bed & Breakfast del Faro is just a short drive from Bari airport, but it feels like a lifetime away. Domingo and Anna are very welcoming and it's all very relaxed when you arrive - there's a nice pool with lots of beds to relax, a hot tub and you can see the sea - plus there's restaurants within easy distance (we had an excellent pizza in Pizzeria da Donato - as recommended by Anna). We were in a very comfortable family room (lovely big double bed and two fold out beds for the kids) and everyone slept well. All the rooms have a nice outdoor seating area too - so it's no problem to relax if your kids are asleep but you want to stay up! Breakfast was delicious - and the kids now think that everywhere we stay should have a hot tub and a sweet machine! Hard to think of negatives. They are security conscious - so there are a few codes required to get in, but this doesn't take long to get used to and it's obviously good that the place is so secure. All in all a lovely stay - perfect for a short break before flying in or out, or indeed longer. We never had the chance to visit Giovinazzo itself, but apparently the village it beautiful and well worth it.…
We were looking for a place to stay one night before flying back home from Bari airport the next day, and booked at the B&B del Faro. What a great experience ! Anna gave us, few hours before getting to Giovinazzo, the directions and all the codes necessary to get to and into this lovely place. The welcome from Domingo and Anna was very warm and kind, and we were offered a nice bottle of prosecco that we shared with American guests. This is a great place for kids, with a big pool, ping-pong,...and a lot of room to run around! There are a number of restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes drive, along the sea. The room was spacious, modern, with a private terrace. The breakfast cooked by Domingo and with typical pasticcerie was excellent. Last but not least, the drive to the airport took 6 minutes, which was very convenient. We would highly recomment the B&B del Faro, for the location, the accommodations, the environment (close to seaside for a walk) and the kindness of Anna and Domingo.…
What a find! Ana and Domingo were so welcoming, helpful and good fun. Great rooms, lovely pool and fantastic breakfast. Great time at local pizza cafe after Ana rang ahead and told them ‘four strangers are coming’. We could of stayed for our whole holiday! Highly recommended.
The lovely B & B from Anna & Domingo is close to Bari and very close to Bari AirPort. Great location also near the rocky Bari beaches. We had a clean modern room with a private terrace next to the swimmingpool. There are pleasant lounge possibilties around the pool. Lots of free parkingspace and interesting for kids: a pingpongtable and tablefootball. Domingo makes a full excellent breakfast with a lot of options. When we arrived we got treated with a bottle of spumante and the next afternoon with a Aperol spritz. So sweet! We could make use of our room for a special price when we wanted to stay longer during the day because of our plane leaving at 20.30. Italian hospitality to the max.
We called before we arrived and got a list of instructions. First of all to open the gate. You drive than to the backside, there is a house and a pool. To enter the house and your room you needed new codes. We had a reasable room with a bathroom that had a shower-jacuzzi. The outside pool is rather big and nicely deep. The owners came later and went again, we saw them back the next morning. They were nice and served a good breakfast. It is a bit odd to be behind a gate. But we liked it.
