My expectations were low and I was still disappointed. We had booked two rooms for a two day stay to attend a concert. The first room was ok, except for the smell of tobacco. It was also missing a plug so the bathtub was useless. The second room was filthy. Plenty of dust and grime on the walls several places, but that I could have accepted had it not been for the floor. The entire room was carpeted and on one side of the bed it was soaking wet. It stayed wet for our stay, even after maintenance checked it out. My husband accidentally stepped in it and his white sock turned brown. They also used some sort of perfume in the rooms and the hallways, which were nauseating. The food was edible. Pretty flavorless and bland. We ordered a charcuterie board and the sliced cheese had dried edges. The bread was also extremely dry, like cut to days ago and left on the counter. Breakfast was ok. Pancakes and eggs were good, but the rest wasn't much to write home about. Overall a very disappointing experience. Except the lobby and the staff. Lobby is gorgeous and the staff was extremely pleasant. …
Great food, nice presentation and real good service. Ask for a spicy steak tartar. It’s fabulous. This chef knows what he is doing. The meat is very tender. Good choice of wine and a very cozy bar. A good place to stay.
A strange place to stay. The first impression when you enter this hotel is quite positive: A modern, boutique lobby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is above French standards. The restaurant is amixture of restaurant and lounge with a single bowling lane at one side. Next door is a work and play room with video games, a pool table and more. The hotel was quite empty with only handful of guests. Strangely enough I must have received one of the worst rooms of the hotel for my first night. There were holes in the walls. The bathroom was in a really poor state. Additionally the room was quite dirty. Due to a strike I had extend my stay in the hotel and received a different room for my second night. This time the room was clean and freshly renovated. Hence, you need to be lucky with the room you'll receive.…
The rooms are ok, it’s clean and decent. The swimming pool wasn’t opened due to the lack from the city management... The stuff isn’t well informed about the reservation. They told me that the breakfast is included in the price and then when I checked it wasn’t. Breakfast price is 15€, and it’s too much for a standard breakfast. If you take just a room it’s good quality/price ratio.
Don't understand the 4-star rating here. This hotel is located in a very industrial area, and very inconvenient to public transport. Heavy trucks roll by any time after 5am, with deliveries. Never did get a hot shower here - stayed 4 nights. If you're headed to EURExpo, it's a 12-15 minute walk through an industrial area, where trucks and cars can be parked on the sidewalks.
What a waste of time this has turned out to be! I've just spent a day travelling on the ferry and driving 480 miles and was looking foreward to a meal abd a beer, only to find that the restaurant and bar are both closed! Their website dsys it's open, the booklet in the room says they are open and even the ads in the lift say they are open! Another one to come off the company list!
Fab hotel with lots of free parking and 10 mins from airport. Lovely rooms very clean ant not to noisy so good nights sleep. Food was very good including the breakfast. Watch out for the Belgium beer very strong!!
The breakfast is ok, but nothing special. The room was clean but very simple, not what is accepted when you see the pictures of the restaurant and the entry. The good point is the proximity of the high way
We were expecting a higher standard in view of the price. Unfortunately, I think they are guaranteed visitors, as there aren't many hotels in the area and when you have a fair all day you don't want to have to go far. The staff were very hard working but the overall standard is low.
We stayed two nights and there was a lot of activities for kids! The pool was great, and they had bowling, tabletennis and an arcade with videogames. Breakfast was great, But the restaurant was poor-in the weekend they have a small «buffet» you have to microwave... I saw a lot of unhappy guests.. and the Food was extremely expensive! 16€ for a small microwaved dish... should have been free when restaurant is closed(and there is NO restaurant open in the area during the weekends) next day they put up a food truck outside- we didn’t try it. other than that we were very happy with our stay! Nice rooms with amenities, free parking, and a short drive to get downtown!
