Hotel interior a little dated, but more than made up by friendly efficient staff, and lovely gardens and pool area. We had one night before departure from Poretta (bastia) airport. Double room was acceptable with what appeared to be new bathroom. Booked evening meal which was enjoyable. Next morning reception rung local taxi for short (10mins) journey to airport. Ideal...

... they charged my credit card without asking me!! This is an absolutely NO-GO!! I'm personally very sorry for the misunderstanding that the breakfast has not been including the booking. But this does not give you the right to charge my credit card without my notice.

The hotel is very close to the airport which is why we stayed. It's ideal for a one night stay over. The hotel is clean but a little dated and quiky in parts. It's very typical of an old family run hotel so it has character unlike many of the chain hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't...

Great location if you have to be close to the airport. Clean rooms with A/C that are rather pleasant and modern. No wifi in rooms which was a bit dull. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. The only issue we had was that the second floor of the overflow hotel has doors that automatically slam into a...

The hotel consists of two parts which are about 300 metres apart. The rooms are okay and you find everything you need. Around the hotels there are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants, so you don't need to use the hotel restaurant which tends to have very slow service.

we were a large family party of 12 people booked through booking.com to have 4 rooms of various sizes at hotel Castellu Rossu with all members of the party looking forward to a relaxing final night of our holiday in what appeared to be a pleasant hotel with pool and pretty surroundings. We finished up in an over flow building...

I spent a night at the Castellu Rossu with my family, waiting for our real vacation of a week of horseback riding in Corsica to begin the following day. We chose Castellu Rossu for its proximity to the Bastia airport. The room we stayed in was clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant area looked charming, and the menu...

We went there only for onenight, arriving quite late with the ferry boat. It is absolutely a shame: the owner didn't bring us into the room (situated about 300mfar away from the main hotel (without any previous agreement that we. Ould have slept somewhere far away); we pointed out during the reservation that we needed a small bed for a...

Useful location for the airport ( 5 mins ) or ferry port ( 20 mins ). We stayed one night before catching the ferry & we found this hotel to be very pleasant. The rooms are of an old style but they are clean, a good size and have A/C. We opted for the set evening meal at 20€ which...

Well why would you? Because you are flying out next day in all likelihood. That apart it's not got much to offer. A nice bar area where a basic breakfast is served. We were "welcomed" by a slightly demur receptionist who half way through our check- in seemed to be scolded for some mistake by the (apparent) lady owner -...

“avoid older rooms on ground floor if you finish up in overflow..other rooms ok although balconys do not seem to safe be careful if you have young children do not let them on the balcony. don't bother with breakfast in the overflow, I think you may be able to take in the main hotel”
