The area is nice and quiet, except maybe the nearby ´paillote’ making noise until late at night... Anyway, the hôtel is clean, comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant can improve I am afraid. Although the service was great with staff being courteous and efficient, the food was somehow average. Not bad at all but nothing great either. A good experience at a decent price.

Nice place to stay, friendly personnel and good food. Big warmed swimming pool and park to rest. However, no fitness room and the swimming pool not exclusively reserved for hotel customers but also for ‘extern’ restaurant customers . It can be very crowded sometimes, aspecially on sundays where you hardly can find free seats for yourself as paying hotel customer . This is quite annoying ! Therefore we believe this hotel deserves a 3 star rating instead of a 4.

Nice location near beach. Clean rooms with great bathroom. Food was good but always the same. Pool shared with people of the village! Too much people on Sunday, guests of the hotel have to get out of the hotel! Got twice a remark from the waitress that I didn’t finish my food!

When I visited the website from America it listed no rooms available! But after arriving in Corsica this June we drove there (had another safe reservation) and, Lo and Behold, rooms were available- and after one look around we booked as a fun ending to our vacation. What a lovely, quiet place! Beautiful rooms, lovely view, nice staff, great restaurant. What luxurious breakfasts ( all inclusive). Amazing pool (heated) and also short walk to terrific beach. It’s really hidden away here near Bastia- I have no idea why they are so modest. PS- highest quality HD tv on the island!

This hotel is at the start of a long sand spit that runs to the top Corsica . There is nothing here aside from camping / hotels & its 20km into Bastia, you definitely need a car to stay here . We were a group of 2 adults & 2 teenagers and we had a room looking towards the pool & the sea. Room layout is unusual with a double bed in the main room & 2 singles in a mezzanine floor overhead . The room itself was clean & spacious with a lovely balcony. On the downside the room was dark & a bit dated . The open, steep staircase to the mezzanine & the mezzanine area itself is not suitable for small children. The air con did not cool the upper level. The pool is very nice & the hotel is directly on the beach. The hotel restaurant is good although the menu is limited . Buffet breakfast is excellent . The setting of this hotel is beautiful but the rooms are odd & probably need a rethink . Expensive for what & where it is . I would not go back .

Not just an airport transfer hotel though. A resort in itself. Nice rooms, decent pool and nice gardens. Good breakfast offering, but only from 0700. Dinner was fair quality too. Staff friendly and efficient. Watch out for bugs biting in the evening on the terrace!

We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant here after walking along the beach. The staff were generally quite friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us (we are vegetarians). Service was okay (staff were friendly but seemed a bit inexperienced) and the food was excellent. There is definitely a wasp problem, so perhaps they should investigate ways to combat this.

Hotel La Lagune is actually quite a big place, but the welcome and the service were very personal and inviting. Made us feel right at home. The room was nice and spacious. The airco was silent, but somehow always seemed to turn itself off after a period of time. We tried to figure out why, but didn't manage to. Our room had a nice little terrace and a very good shower. I guess by installing a bigger shower the toilet got somehow squashed in between the shower and the wall. A bigger person than me would definitely have problems going to the toilet in a comfortable way. Also the quality of the bed could have been better. The swimming pool was very big and beautiful surrounded by nice trees and flowers. The hotel is situated in a quiet environment nearby the sea, so you can choose if you like swimming in the pool or in the sea. We had dinner in the restaurant on the evening we arrived. Dinner options were very limited, but the Saint Pierre fish was very good and the waitress really friendly. I really have to compliment staff on the excellent breakfast. The best we had during our stay in Corsica: eggs, fresh fruit, dried fruit, corn flakes, cheese, pastries, charcuterie, crème brûlée and even Muscat wine! Truly a four star breakfast. Wifi was very good, not only in the rooms, but also in the beautiful gardens reception was outstanding. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, excellent swimming pool en outstanding breakfast buffet.

Clean room, calm and quiet place, food was excellent and the size of the plates large enough, good price/performance ratio for the restaurant. Good wines. The breakfast offer eggs, saussages, fresh fruits, bred, croissants, sweets, chees, etc. they serve also fresh orange juice and great italien coffee! 29.- for halfboard or you choice from a la carte. You have direct beach access and enough space to find a quiet spot for sunbathing. Sunbrella only available at the pool and not at the beach! There is a larger beach bar 500m away if you walk northbound. No other store or shop in the area, you need a taxi or rental car. The only disadvantage is the pool bar. Only overpriced alcoholic drinks and a few ice creams available. No sandwiches or other snacks available. You have to go to the restaurant for lunch - or pick up some food from breakfast what we did...
