We stayed 1 night in a superior room with a balcony. The room was on the 2nd floor, it was having a good size for a couple and it was really clean. There was a small safe but no tv, and it was equipped with an effective and quiet aircon. It was having a balcony where you can dry clothes and sit. The hotel is a couple of hundred metres away from the beach. Opposite the entrance there are some barbeque stalls which are pretty popular in the evening. I wouldn't call the hotel a resort, but in my opinion it's offering really good value for money and I would book it again...

There seems to be something lost in translation in the Philippines with the word Resort. This is a small, maybe 2* hotel. Not a resort. Breakfast is offered but not included, but is available from the lacal market area outside, however the hygiene levels leave a lot to be desired. (not that that is to do with the hotel) Rooms are set back from the noisy market area so quiet enough at night. They do offer a few drinks and there seems to be some form of security (though it's for the most part unnecessary here) Not a bad place to stay, a bit away from the beach but the island is tiny so it's not a long walk.

The location of the resort was awesome, close to the night market of Malapascua. Rooms are quiet at the night and clean. A very good choice given this reasonable price. Staff is friendly and breakfast was OK.

I stayed here in their deluxe room and copped bed bugs. Got absolutely hammered by them and only noticed 2 days into the stay (as is standard with bed bug bites they appear 24 hours later) when I figured out what they were I switched rooms as it was late. The next day at check out I showed management my ravished legs and arms and spoke to the manager over the phone. I requested some compensation and was told to prove they had them (my maple bites weren’t enough). The owner behaved like pig and accused me of bringing them in (impossible I’d come straight from home), then proceeded to tell me she slept in the same bed a week before and everything was fine. Said she’s slept in every bed there the week before all 25 rooms worth. Hmmm. Nevertheless I showed them the bed bug stains and it still want enough, shed inspected the same stain the week before too. Go figure. So management refused to believe me and Compensate me and were rude and horrible about it. DO NOT STAY HERE
