Paid $150 for a substandard room. Furniture was old and uncomfortable with paint peeling off the dining room chairs The only positive was the bed was great. There was next to no heating. Wouldn't of minded it so much if it was priced accordingly. It was the final night of a 2 week trip all over the country and we got much better for similar money in most places.
We Stayed here in late July and were really disappointed with the room. It was $159.00 per night and was very much over priced. There are very few motels in town so I think they took advantage of that with the price. The shower head was broken and just hung from the wall, the water pressure was also terrible. Curtains sliders were also broken so the curtains did not glide or close well. Damage to walls that had been poorly repaired and the room looked old and tiered. People next door were drunk, nosy and were breaking furniture and glass. They were warned but continued and should have been evicted. The property managers were polite and apologised for dropping the ball but the main thing is you have to pay attention to detail and make people’s stay feel special.
Great staff, clean room, really large size. Couldn't fault it. Was worried about only one bedroom as had teenaged son with me. Spare bed in big lounge, so no worries. Best bath in any motel/hotel I've stayed in.
Greeted by nice staff, although they were a bit behind schedule but got to check in straight away. Pool was quite dirty so didn’t swim in it (3/10). Super king sized bed that was rock hard (1/10) Pillows very uncomfortable (2/10) Rooms very clean and well furnished (7/10) Tvs in each room (bedroom tv was ancient box tv with 3 channels). Nice clean carpet. Small kitchenette. 2 hobs for cooking + microwave. Very impressive bathtub (10/10) was huge and very deep spa bath (room for one comfortably) but not great water pressure (6/10). All in all was an average motel. Quiet enough. Fine for a quick stay. I rate the whole motel a 4/10.
This motel is on the outskirts of the town and close to the main road, so easy to get back on your route. However, we could hear some traffic noise from our room but it didn't keep us awake. We walked towards the town, and it took us about 20 minutes to reach the local Countdown Supermarket. In our room we could not hear our neighbours. There was a toaster, kettle, small hob unit, and Microwave. All functional. A good one night stopover, looks like a budget hotel but priced at mid-range.
