Right off the bat the pony didn’t look appealing at all really dark with old furniture and a shattered glass that wasn’t fixed in months plus the overwhelming smell of the kitchen. The rooms look good and the decor is nice make sure to get a room with a big window cuz it will be one of the few good things about it. The rooms are so small that a praying mat Barely fits and it’s uncomfortable to pray and this is a big deal in Muslim culture. The curtain and the bed are operated with controllers. The mattresses are comfortable. The bathrooms are very small as well and nothing to hang your clothes on to dry. The mini fridge isn’t cool enough and there’s just water in it plus it makes so much noise that makes it difficult to go to sleep. The walls are so thin that you can head everything outside the room and in the other rooms which is terrible. No no not disturb sign or house keeping bell. No bells at all so everybody knocks. The servers speak English which is a plus but they don’t wear masks non of them. No menu for room service in the room no number for reception or room service either. No information card nothing. The food is a 3/5 not really good and the diner is in the basement and dark with a short ceiling which feels suffocating. Nobody cases if they run out of something it never gets refilled. Horrible tea and coffee stand super thin cups that burn your hands and the whole experience just made me loose my appetite. The fridges in this hotel don’t keep anything cold which is super annoying. The bread in the breakfast section smells like old food and onion. And finally the elevators just don’t have a fast enough sensor to detect someone is crossing the doors hit me hard from both side several times. This is dangerous for elderly people as well because it makes them loose balance and get bruised. For the price this high up this hotel should do much much better it’s like they spent all the money on automatic curtains and beds.…
Booked this 4 star hotel for 4 nights last month. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes away from Mola Ali's shrine. The entire hotel is squeaky clean, finished to a very high standard and the over all facilities were top notch. Sure it had spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and fresh food, The best part of the hotel is its staff. Extremely helpful. You can tell by the way they talk to you that they are happy to go the extra 2 miles for you. Brilliantly professional, cheerful and helpful staff. Half of them are pakistani if that's of any consequence. I found it brilliant as Iraqis (in my short experience) speak little to no English. This made it very easy to communicate. The only downer(but not is a big way) was the food. While the food was very tasty(surprisingly), always fresh and plentiful, we found the menu to be rather repetitive. Its not necessarily a bad thing but since the hotel scores 5 stars on all fronts, maybe my expectations were a bit too high. All in all it's a serious and viable alternative to Qasr ul Dur at almost quarter of the cost. Special thanks to the gentlemen from Chiniot, faisalabd and lahore (sorry I cant remember your names but your were excellent) and the night duty manager Mr Asif Bangish. Very welcoming and professional. I would like to thank you all for your brilliant hospitality so I could focus on my spiritual journey and not worry about the hotel. God bless you all and keep up the good work. …
The hotel was good near the shrine. Staff were extremely helpful that they went out of their way to help me. Food was terrible. We got the same food for 3 days with very few changes. Breakfast we got Sim leftovers pizza which we got during dinner. Need to change the cook who doesn't know how to cook Iraqi food.
