When my wife and I got married, we decided to spend our honeymoon at Dorado Casitas, partly because its location is fabulous, and partly because we like its commitment to local activities...

...We were in 2602 which was one building behind 2601 and further from the beach, but we were still pleased with the location and the view, and it offered a little more privacy...

...The location, atmosphere, staff and the food were all what we were looking for...

...Also we are already booked for 2023 at the same location...

...Should you attend this Mexican paradise, it is a must to get a beach cabana in front of this location...

...The music piped through the resort is WAY TOO LOUD and mostly American rock 'n roll or dated soft rock. One afternoon there was a foam party at pool 32 and the music was too loud to even read or talk... It would go a long way to play instrumental music throughout the resort instead-including in the restaurants...

...This trip we celebrated our Anniversary and a birthday, so our butlers Alvaro & Melissa made sure that everyday there was something special with room decorations, flowers, candles, balloons, special drinks & treats, romantic breakfast in bed…the list goes on...

...Once our amazing Concierges knew about our Anniversary, we received many lovely celebratory touches: anniversary banner on our door, flower petals on our bed twice, and gorgeous flowers delivered...

...Butler Claudio went over the top and had towels on my porch chairs every morning, extra ice in a cooler on the porch, decorated our room for my wife's birthday OVER THE TOP!...

...Extremely comfortable and beautiful room, wonderful service from Miriam, Alexis and Esther!...

...We picked out which pillows we wanted and which fragrance was going to fill our room... Our anniversary was made so special because of their special added touches like rose petals/roses placed in our suite, sparkling wine, a banner on the door, a mini cake, and hand written notes...

...Each day, our cleaned room came with an adorable towel folded animal with flowers on the bed...

...We enjoyed the nighttime entertainment band that played covers!... Loved the bathroom, bedding, patio...

...The room was extremely well appointed with toiletries, a coffee maker (coffee is restocked daily), a mini refrigerator (also restocked as needed) and a wonderfully comfortable bed... Plus, she left the most adorable towel animals every day!...

...We stayed in the casitas, which as everyone else has said are a little dark, but the rooms are huge, the whirlpool bath is luxurious, and the mini bar is something else. The karaoke nights are amazing, such a giggle and everyone is so friendly that even if you can't sing it doesn't matter...

...Our room was beautifully decorated for our anniversary...

...This was our second time at this hotel, it’s very unique in its style of rooms with some rooms having their own private pool in the balcony or swim ups on the ground level...

...We booked a three week stay at ruby level... If you want to come as a member and stay a while book three weeks as separate bookings then you will get all your entitlements three times not once...

...Our room in the casitas was beautiful as well but heard others we met staying in the Royale side said their rooms were very dated... So if you are hungry during the day your best bet is to Go back to your room and order from the limited room service menu...

...We stayed in Casitas building 31. The first thing I noticed when we got into our room is that we did not have any welcome champagne... The second day were there, we went in to get ready for dinner and our room was not cleaned or turned down... This was very upsetting to us because when we went to our friends room, it was completely cleaned, bed made and decorated nicely including flowers, champagne, and chocolates...

...I asked them to make it special, they went above and beyond, even delivering fresh flowers to our room on her special day!... We will be coming back and we are going to book our room in the part of the resort that Luis and Mimi are working!...

...Everything was 5-star, from turn down service at night to 24/7 complimentary room service and personalized cleaning service several times a day...

...Samara (housekeeping) was awesome, always super happy, and lit up the room every time she was there. This trip we celebrated our Anniversary and a birthday, so our butlers Alvaro & Melissa made sure that everyday there was something special with room decorations, flowers, candles, balloons, special drinks & treats, romantic breakfast in bed…the list goes on...

...We stayed in casitas 29 and honeymooners in 30, we were happy to stay in 29 due to us thinking the honeymooners wouldn't want us too close. Rooms didn't disappoint, however 2 days no hot water, we were compensated for it... Friends also arranged for our room to be decorated with a banner, balloons, towel cake...

...Our room was spotless & smelled incredible... My husband had room service of coffee, fruit, & pastries at 6 am each morning—on time & correct order every morning...

...They always made sure we had everything we needed & wanted in our room, had dinner reservations every night & just made sure we were happy & having a good time...

...Robert was the best room service attendant constantly asking us if we needed anything. Our room was always cleaned promptly and thoroughly and our housekeeper Patricia was very sweet and diligent...

3rd stay at Casitas, first in a swim up room... We were in Casitas 32, and the only issue with the room was some noise outside D’Italia which was right behind us and just a couple times late... The room was clean (housekeeping are my heroes), well appointed, and updated...

...We had difficulty with our room (as did a number of others in the hotel) as the rooms allocated were not the rooms booked. It seems this is simply because the hotel is at full capacity... The way the room was changed was not great and comments such as “you’re lucky to have a room as we’re over booked” are not helpful or what I would expect of a hotel of this calibre...

...We had a private dinner in suite with Adrian and chef Roxann and it was divine... I wish personal speakers were only allowed in rooms because it absolutely killed the relaxing vibe when someone wanted to play AC/DC at full volume for 12 hours...

...Firstly, our room butlers Rafa and Alexis were amazing. There were issues with the room (more below), but Alexis and Rafa looked after everything, efficiently and promptly... The room: Karisma seems to be too busy expanding to look after existing properties... The room smelled like a sewer when we arrived and no amount of airfreshner could clear it up... The lighting in the rooms has always been an issue for us; the day we were departing there was a rain storm and we could not see well enough to check the drawers and shelves even with every light on... Bottom line - don't expect 5 star rooms...

...The room had a smell to it - after calling the concierge they came anc realized there was an issues with the A/C and they had to clean it. They had to put fume the room and it still stunk the entire stay... Before you make your next booking, find somewhere else!...

I am so disappointed we love the resort but exotic travelers just want your money so be very careful before joining read the small print... This trip cost us over $11000.00 dollars they gave us our four bottles of spirit as per the contract... They have refused to replace our bottles saying it’s not allowed as breaches our contract ...

...Warning: your concierge will pressure you to attend a presentation to buy a membership. If you are not interested, you will have to stick to your guns and say no multiple times...

...We did the on resort (fee) Horseback riding excursion and would highly recommend it as the directors Lily and other girl (sorry didn't get name) were both very informative and good at keeping everyone secure...

...The restaurants are pretty but the food is a joke... Then they want to up sell you wine at every dinner... The house wime is 2 buck chuck at best!... But they want to sell you a 10 dollar box title of wine for 200 American... They push for the beach massage’s constantly almost to the point of harassment... Save your money and take a hard pass on this resort!...

...They had tables for 12 charged 45 dollars per person to sit at that table. I asked if could just eat one meal all together and was told no...

...The fee for the dinner show and wine pairing needs to be corrected on your website, because it cost a lot more to do that than was advertised...

Super disappointed as we go to alot of Karisma resorts. I think the advertising is way misleading... Super expensive for no good beach!!...

...We booked a Ruby level room and did not receive all the member benefits we should have during our stay... Unfortunately, we were limited to 6 pm dinners most nights and our Ruby benefit massage could only be booked at 8 am the morning we left (Lomas airport pick up was at 9:30!)... I'm not sure what happened over the years, but this is not the same quality vacation experience or membership... The pricing per night at all resorts has increased significantly, yet the service has not... However, we paid a HEAVY price to be members and to receive top-notch service and amenities...

...To be clear, as we were unsure what to expect when booking this holiday, the adult only El Dorado Hotel is at one end of beach, the Casitas in the middle area, and the family Generations Hotel at the far end, are all part of this Karisma owned resort, and all pretty upmarket... Car hire was expensive,as full insurance was compulsory, despite having our own excess policy, and with a $25 taxi journey each was would actually have been cheaper to hire directly from the hotel and have the car delivered...

...The grounds as always are immaculate and even the seaweed seemed less abundant this year. If you do get the chance, please don't forget to say Hola to the grounds people and pool attendants and also the guys who clear the seaweed on the beach to recognise them...

...Silverio, the waiter at D'Italia Casitas is a kind and attentive gentleman that always seems to go the extra mile to make dining exceptional. We had butler service that was wonderful with Alexis and Miriam - together they made sure that our vacation was quite wonderful... There are a few areas that we thought were lacking from our previous trips and I make mention of them to improve services in the future... There was also no beach service for drinks 6 out of 7 days (is this new or did we just have bad luck with wait staff?)... Second, we are always sent an email before we arrive asking about room alcohol preferences and dining requests and, this trip, like the others, was met with blank stares when we checked in... Additionally, we were told that we were scheduled for the Exotic diner by email but when we arrived, we were told there was no such reservation and that in fact, the dinner was full and that we could not attend... We did show them the email that was sent to us and ultimately, accommodations were made... The observations are meant to improve services in the future... I would like to see Casitas remain an exceptional place to get away from it all beginning with check-in and progressing to ensure base services are delivered reliably...

We always love to come back for the people...

...The butlers take care of everything you could hope for and help make the trip unforgettable... He helped us with reservations at restaurants, spa appointments, and even stayed late to make sure we could get the fish we caught prepared at one of the restaurants that night... Make sure to visit her for lunch and get the fresh made tacos and ceviche... She even specially prepared the snapper and tuna that we caught on our fishing trip the day before... We made sure to keep some on ice just to have her prepare it the next day...

...The staff at El Dorado Casitas and El Dorado Royale always go above and beyond. Firstly, our room butlers Rafa and Alexis were amazing... Not only were they professional but they did everything with good humour and politeness... Fernando, Javier, Bryan, Erick and Michelle were amazing... On the beach we were looked after by Eduardo, who made sure we were comfortable and greeted us cheerfully everyday... The absolute best meal we had was at the Habb - chef personally served us a feast like we have never had before - and we are very familiar with Indian Food (and we can be tough critics)... We isolated the smell to the toilet and it turned out that it needed to be sealed around the bottom, (Alexis had them fix it right away) after which the smell cleared up... Fortunately I had brought a flashlight and we used our cell phones... The staff make this place fantastic... I cannot list all the small ways they stepped in to take care of details for us... I know the hotel treats its staff well and they feel cared for, and as long as they do that we will keep coming back!...

All are very helpful although the concierges and checking in teams could do with some further training and approach to booking rooms/changes/introduction to the hotel and facilities as well as how best to book restaurants eg we were not told where to find breakfast and what times, entertainment, availability of ALL restaurants outside Casitas complex (they were better eg at Generations)...

...We honeymooned here 7 years ago and we returned and were even more impressed!... Reservations were easy and we loved the food!... The waiters were awesome and willing to bring out second dishes so we could continue trying other flavors... We definitely did Kampai for lunch three days in a row just to keep getting curry and sushi... Beach beds were plentiful and drinks were great and available... I can't confirm this but I think the water system is set up for this and not that we have iron stomachs... All the help was fantastic and employees are so welcoming and kind...

...The limo ride to and from the airport was amazingly comfortable... The grounds are kept to perfection and everything is cleaned and maintained well... It sounds weird but opt for the pillow service and aromatherapy for your room... We picked out which pillows we wanted and which fragrance was going to fill our room... The outdoor shower option was very nice... Every team member we encountered were extremely nice and helpful... We had the pleasure of having 2 butlers throughout our stay... Rafa Chiquil and Karen Tamer were the best and so helpful... They were always happy to talk with us and very easy to contact... Our anniversary was made so special because of their special added touches like rose petals/roses placed in our suite, sparkling wine, a banner on the door, a mini cake, and hand written notes...

...A standout worker for us during this trip was Juan, the bartender at Casitas Section 32... He went over and beyond to make sure that we were all having a great time... Best bartender that we have had in our 13 years visiting the resort!!!!... For example, when we first started coming they used to come by every afternoon and morning with ice cream/fruit/ for those staying in Casitas... They have also gotten a little lax in providing the turn down service... In 9 days, we only received this a couple of times...

We visited Casitas as a group of 6 for our parents 30th wedding anniversary. My partner and I had previously visited seaside suites a few years ago and therefore knew a bit about Mexico and the high standards provided by the Karisma chain... We had a fabulous 2 weeks made extra special by some of the wonderful staff who looked after us... Both went above and beyond to ensure that we were well looked after and enjoyed our days at the pool... Edison at Gaviotas kept our drinks topped up every evening - there is no such thing as too much tequila!... Our maid Fany kept our room so clean and tidy and left us some beautiful towel art... We booked one excursion with Jonas at Lomas travel to do quad biking excursion... We also loved the food at Casita D'Italia and received excellent service at all restaurants... He also hosted the evening at Fuentes and did a great job... We were well looked after by Alejandro and our masseuses were Samuel and Omar... Tip your minibar (we gave 20pesos each day) and you will never run short of drinks and snacks And enjoy yourself!...

...We stayed in the Coba diamond villa on the beach and everything was just perfect. Everything you can ask for is provided for you so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your vacation... But the trip is made even better by the fabulous staff... Alexis and Miri are phenomenal butlers and wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure that you have an excellent vacation... And Jose the beach butler is a fantastic beach butler... If you are in your private pool or your beach area, he will make sure you always have a drink in your hand... Just can't say enough positive things and cant wait to go back...

Once again an absolutely wonderful trip to El Dorado Casitas Royale! My wife and I were able to spend our longest trip ever at nine days in the presidential suites where Karen and Gabby took phenomenal care of us as our butlers... With our member benefits we were able to get two couples massages from Irene and Gaby (not the same one as the butler), and they were absolutely spectacular experiences... We also got the benefit of half of our mornings seeing or sea turtles came up the night before to lay eggs and nesting sites which was an absolutely wonderful experience... And lastly on the lazy days when we hung out at the beach Gabriel and Jose both took great care of us... Henrique at Santa Fe is still our absolute favorite waiter of all as well as Gerardo at the pizza kitchen for this trip...

...The resort is very accommodating in regards to your needs, ie I wanted a sea view and I eventually got it when it was available. The amazing thing about this place is 1) the staff and the people and 2) the way you have the freedom to use different facilities/pools and restaurants in Generation, Casitas and Eldorado Royal, which meant it wouldn’t be boring for us as we stayed for 2 weeks... Our top restaurant were the Italian one / jade , kampai (Rodrigo working there is so good with ordering your food and advice) and wine kitchen ... I can’t emphasise enough the people who made our trip memorable and comfortable: Sergio from the concierge was so helpful and understanding with our needs so was the Fatima who was the chief... Alfredo was the best butler we ever had, he was so helpful and helped us through out our trip... Our pool barman Luis and the beach boy Ramon were so good at making really good drinks and we had a good laugh... Norma and Aby were two waitresses who we were so fond of...

If it were possible to give this resort 10 stars, I honestly would... There are golf cart type shuttles that run between all three resorts on a regular schedule of every 20 minutes, but it is an easy, beautiful walk along the beach for those who like to walk... Our casita had an indoor shower and a fabulous outdoor shower, a huge jetted bath tub and a private swimming pool... The room was extremely well appointed with toiletries, a coffee maker (coffee is restocked daily), a mini refrigerator (also restocked as needed) and a wonderfully comfortable bed... Our housekeeper, Esther, made certain that we never needed a single thing... Plus, she left the most adorable towel animals every day!... And there are butlers who are always nearby, should you need something from the bar... Our beach butlers were Ramon and Eleazar, and they were beyond wonderful... Our sincere thanks to Ramon for making our lazy days at the beach so memorable... They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect... From arranging our dinning reservations, and going out of their way to make my birthday celebration the best one ever, they were simply superb... There is wifi throughout the facility and on the beach... Our most sincere thanks to all of the staff at El Dorado Casitas Royale...

...The customer service received during our stay was truly incredible. First, I want to highlight our butlers, Alexis and Rafa... Our concierge, Sergio was absolutely wonderful!... He greeted and spent time with us on day one and spent time with us, taking care of our needs throughout the trip... Starting on day one, and continuing throughout our trip, he helped to make sure that our schedule and reservations were set, gave great recommendations, connected us to the excursion representative, and personally gave my husband and I a tour of the Nickelodeon resort... He was kind, and made us feel comfortable and taken care of... Our other two concierges, Aide and Luis provided care during every interaction... Aide was caring and provided us with great recommendations and advice... Luis was always kind and helpful... Our housekeeper, Esther, was also incredible... She kept our room clean, refreshing and relaxing with great attention to detail along with extra touches of care, like beautifully folded towels and night time chocolates... Our bartender, Jonathon, at the pool downstairs from our room was incredible, taking care of my husband and going the extra mile to make a pitcher of green tea for me each day after he found out that is my favorite drink... Every bartender and server we interacted with really was amazing...

Concierge Luis Loyo is truly a service focused employee and his partner Aida Elzondo who schedule all our family and friends activities helping us to achieve All our desired dinners and events were excellent... Butlers Alexis Luna and Rafa Chiquil looked after delivering all the requests without fail every day... From coolers of beer and ice to a delicious bed time liquor and all the details in between Oo An excellent experience at a wonderful 5 Star 4 Diamond resort A must try for everyone!...

Miriam, Alondra, and Alfredo were fantastic! This is our fourth trip and although there were disappointments from the booking agents to the concierges, the butlers were friendly, outgoing, solicitous, ubiquitous... I mean in addition to sending me the restaurants each morning (through What's App), they checked up on the mini bar, towels, cleaning schedule, were the go betweens with room service, AND were extremely attentive to our 93 yr. old 'grammie'; finding everything from extra key cards, sun tan lotion, golf cart reservations (although not technically supposed to), TV replacement, etc... The rooms are fantastic, the outdoor shower is wonderful anytime of day (or night), the actual beach may not be fantastic, but is more than compensated by the pools / bars right near the rooms... The little turtle sanctuary is another fun thing - there had just been a hatching before we arrived, but some late birthings got sidetracked and were headed to the lights around our pool and we got to help save / redirect a handful (likely 20ish) back to the sea... ), but the ladies in the family had hydrotherapy, massages, manicures - fantastic and about the same as spa prices at home... We fed hibiscus flowers to the iguana, played string games with the kittens, watched the coati duck in an out, and barely missed (by five minutes) a family of monkeys that visited the front lobby... Because we are members, we will continue to visit the resorts, but I am not sure that I eagerly anticipate the return if not for the saving graces of the butler service this year... Miriam, Alondra, Alfredo did such a magnificent job...

...The staff really did make the stay amazing. Hostess Gabriella is an absolute angel!... So much so that we arranged our restaurant reservations around where she was on duty... A true asset to El Dorado and deserves all the thanks and recognition... It rained one day, but we took advantage of the Exotic club tour and the excellent cocktails they served in the sales office... We got our resort credit and used it towards spa treatments, lobster and steak... The sales team were not at all pressurising and even though they knew we weren't interested in buying membership, they sat with us and listened to all our feedback... Lastly, a huge shout out to all of our wonderful bar men at the Casitas, nothing was too much to ask, and Caesar put up with our awful banter in great humour!... I highly recommend El Dorado Casitas to anyone thinking of going...

Overall this is a very good hotel and resort if you want to relax, be well fed and be well looked after... The room is large (we were in block 29) and the guys there such as Tony and the Great chap cleaning the pool were brilliant... Lucio and Jamie also look after you well from concierge... I think Casitas is a quieter area of the 2 resorts (the rooms are different in Royale and near the main pool) but if you want a big pool atmosphere then you have it... There is a wide range of restaurants to have food in and we were never bored of somewhere to go as you have so much variation with 3 resorts to access Kompai served really good sushi and oriental food and Palms (in Generations) was lovely for breakfast and lunch... As Brits we like having a cup of tea!... It would have been great to have a place for afternoon tea between 4 to 6... Us Brits love a cup of tea and a biscuit 😀 A few things to note The whole resort can take 20 mins to walk from one end to the other... You get the option to buy others for dinner but I don't think that is needed All in all we loved the resort and would recommend it...

...Monica came especially to look for us by the pool and had automatically arranged for us to a lovely room, appeared with some tequila shot glasses and had sparkling wine sent to our room for my husbands birthday We felt that she genuinely wanted to ensure we had a fantastic stay and was so disappointed it had got off to a bad start... The 2 nights we spent at Fuentes were most enjoyable and worth the extra cost... Entertainment was of a very high standard, the acrobat and circus shows, Danna Kennedy and the 3 tenors were extremely professional... We loved spending our days by the quiet pool near the 500 block and the Spot and Rincon were superb... We loved the greenhouse, jungle and bike tours,,many thanks for the animation teams who took us round, We also really enjoyed the horse riding and Cenote swim... The gym is very well equipped and we enjoyed the painting and cookery on the one day it rained... We loved our evening walks round the grounds, and spotted a raccoon, Coatis, the alligator (in a lagoon!)... The ground are extremely well maintained and look beautiful...

...Two full massages to two back massages, welcome fruit plate and sparkling wine to welcome sparkling wine, Premium liquors at the bars to mostly "well" brands, folded animal towels on our bed each day and rose pedals to nothing, lower quality meats with up charge for prime at the restaurants etc... Dalia our maid, Ben and Drew our best butlers ever, Samuel and Malena our masseuses at Nay Spa Casitas (two great stress reducing massages best ever) Juan the bartender at Casitas 32 (great smile, great service) Jairo at D'Italis Casitas really took care of our special needs...

...The food is incredible, the beaches clean, and the grounds landscaped to perfection. The butlers take care of everything you could hope for and help make the trip unforgettable... He helped us with reservations at restaurants, spa appointments, and even stayed late to make sure we could get the fish we caught prepared at one of the restaurants that night... Make sure to visit her for lunch and get the fresh made tacos and ceviche... She even specially prepared the snapper and tuna that we caught on our fishing trip the day before... We made sure to keep some on ice just to have her prepare it the next day...

This hotel has many positives but also some negatives which impacts the rating I would give... All are very helpful although the concierges and checking in teams could do with some further training and approach to booking rooms/changes/introduction to the hotel and facilities as well as how best to book restaurants eg we were not told where to find breakfast and what times, entertainment, availability of ALL restaurants outside Casitas complex (they were better eg at Generations)... Expect to pay extras for some things eg a coconut cocktail is $12... Some take away lunch options for the early trips could be improved although the manager did helpfully arrange this after being asked (trip pick up at 6.45am doesn’t give you much time for your appetite to wake up)...

We visited Casitas as a group of 6 for our parents 30th wedding anniversary. My partner and I had previously visited seaside suites a few years ago and therefore knew a bit about Mexico and the high standards provided by the Karisma chain... We had a fabulous 2 weeks made extra special by some of the wonderful staff who looked after us... Both went above and beyond to ensure that we were well looked after and enjoyed our days at the pool... Edison at Gaviotas kept our drinks topped up every evening - there is no such thing as too much tequila!... Our maid Fany kept our room so clean and tidy and left us some beautiful towel art... We did a few activities on the resort and particularly enjoyed the bike tour with Javi... It is hard to be disappointed with anything when you are in absolute paradise, but we found this resort was very large for our tastes and quite frequently found ourselves wishing for a buggy to pick us up which were few and far between (and we love walking, on holiday you just want to be lazy I guess!)... We became aware that some Royale holiday makers were coming to the Casitas pool during the day which contributed to it being quite busy... We loved our day at the spa and would really recommend the water journey for everybody... We were well looked after by Alejandro and our masseuses were Samuel and Omar... Tip your minibar (we gave 20pesos each day) and you will never run short of drinks and snacks And enjoy yourself!...

...My wife and I had an amazing trip to the Casitas this past week! We honeymooned here 7 years ago and we returned and were even more impressed!... We did so many excursions the first visit here so this go around, we never left the resort and were not disappointed!... Reservations were easy and we loved the food!... The waiters were awesome and willing to bring out second dishes so we could continue trying other flavors... We definitely did Kampai for lunch three days in a row just to keep getting curry and sushi... Beach beds were plentiful and drinks were great and available... Loved the bathroom, bedding, patio... It should be said that we drank all water, brushed teeth from faucet, etc and never got sick... All the help was fantastic and employees are so welcoming and kind... The place is HUGE and you'll have plenty of space to stroll and have spots to sit, chat, etc...

...He went over and beyond to make sure that we were all having a great time... Best bartender that we have had in our 13 years visiting the resort!!!!... This resort is beautiful but there are a few things that aren't quite as good as when we first started coming to the resort... For example, when we first started coming they used to come by every afternoon and morning with ice cream/fruit/ for those staying in Casitas... We always loved coming back to our room to the aromatherapy smell... The resort also needs to rebuild JoJos restaurant and the Beach Bar... This is such a focal area for the resort and was always our first stop when arriving...

The staff at El Dorado Casitas and El Dorado Royale always go above and beyond... On the beach we were looked after by Eduardo, who made sure we were comfortable and greeted us cheerfully everyday... Floor tiles were cracked, the jets in the infinity pool were not working so the water was not circulating and there were holes in seat of the chairs on the deck... I cannot list all the small ways they stepped in to take care of details for us...

...We stayed in the Coba diamond villa on the beach and everything was just perfect. Everything you can ask for is provided for you so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your vacation... But the trip is made even better by the fabulous staff... Alexis and Miri are phenomenal butlers and wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure that you have an excellent vacation... If you are in your private pool or your beach area, he will make sure you always have a drink in your hand... Just can't say enough positive things and cant wait to go back...

Once again an absolutely wonderful trip to El Dorado Casitas Royale! My wife and I were able to spend our longest trip ever at nine days in the presidential suites where Karen and Gabby took phenomenal care of us as our butlers... With our member benefits we were able to get two couples massages from Irene and Gaby (not the same one as the butler), and they were absolutely spectacular experiences... For a second one we even extend it to 80 minutes… So nice!... I am large the weather was spectacular and we were able to go on to excursions and enjoy beautiful sunrises nearly every day... We also got the benefit of half of our mornings seeing or sea turtles came up the night before to lay eggs and nesting sites which was an absolutely wonderful experience... And lastly on the lazy days when we hung out at the beach Gabriel and Jose both took great care of us...

...We stayed both at Eldorado casitas with infinity pool and also few nights at Eldorado Royal. The rooms in casitas are very different and romantic, we had our own private pool in the balcony... The resort is very accommodating in regards to your needs, ie I wanted a sea view and I eventually got it when it was available... The amazing thing about this place is 1) the staff and the people and 2) the way you have the freedom to use different facilities/pools and restaurants in Generation, Casitas and Eldorado Royal, which meant it wouldn’t be boring for us as we stayed for 2 weeks... Every day there are entertainments and activities throughout the day and night times... You have the choice to chill and relax in quieter pools and bars or to be around the main pool and bars where activities happen... I can’t emphasise enough the people who made our trip memorable and comfortable: Sergio from the concierge was so helpful and understanding with our needs so was the Fatima who was the chief... Our pool barman Luis and the beach boy Ramon were so good at making really good drinks and we had a good laugh...

...The resort is gorgeous, and the staff are like our family. The food is the quality of a 5 star restaurant, and the bartenders make sure you are never thirsty... You seriously couldn't ask for a better vacation whether you are meeting friends, celebrating an event, or just relaxing with your significant other...

...If it were possible to give this resort 10 stars, I honestly would. To say that everything about it exceeded our expectations would be a gross understatement.The resort itself is simply spectacular... The grounds are so beautiful and meticulously maintained... There are three resorts here and the amenities at all three are available to guests... There are golf cart type shuttles that run between all three resorts on a regular schedule of every 20 minutes, but it is an easy, beautiful walk along the beach for those who like to walk... We had some excellent dinners at restaurants in all three of the resorts, with a wide range of cuisines available... The candlelight beach dinner was lovely!... There is a small cover charge, but don't let that dissuade you because it is a wonderful evening... Additionally, there is an excellent app to look at activities, menus and special events... There is wifi throughout the facility and on the beach...

Starting with our Travel Agent at a Lifetime to Travel and then carried on by the concierge staff of Luis and Aida that took amazing care of us at the El Dorado Casitas Royale. The suite was amazing with indoor and outdoor showers, a jetted tub and a private plunge pool... Add to that the lazy river that takes you to the general pool and being only steps from the beach with amazing cabanas to lay on all day if you wanted... Kampai, Palms, Sante Fe Grill, and La Isla were great, but Palms offer a beach from view while you ate your breakfast that couldn't be beat... The staff in general were very welcoming and helpful...
