We stayed at this hotel after a day of riding Mont Ventoux. The room was very clean and comfortable. We ended our day too late for dinner, but the diningroom smells promised an excellent meal. I would recommend you choose the dinner/breakfast offering since there were not many options in town - unless you want pizza. Christine was very helpful... More

We stayed two nights with a view to cycling up Ventoux. The hotel is a typical French rural and friendly hotel serving tasty food in a very relaxed ambience and beautiful location. Rooms are basic, but are clean and comfortable. If you like cycling then this is a place to stay, not only to experience a famous Tour de France... More

Stayed for cycling up Mont Ventoux 14th-16th August. Really nice welcoming staff, spacious, clean rooms. Absolutely wonderful evening meals that were exceptional value. The owner/manager/chef was such a nice, kind and helpful person. (I was quite badly injured on the descent from Mont Ventoux (Hospitalised) and needed a room for an extra night) None were available,so he put me in their... More

Firstly, let me start out by saying that this is a fantastic location if you're going to be attempting Mont Ventoux - it's about 4km up the hill on the Route de Mont Ventoux, meaning you simply have to go down the main road and back up again to attempt the entire climb! We arrived late at night after a... More

We booked this at the last minute and didn't expect much at the asked rates. We were very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and the great quality of the restaurant. Room was a bit noisy and our bed was not very horizontal, but the view of the Mont Ventoux from the bedroom and the location on the first slope of... More

We came here for a couple of days cycling. The hotel is in the perfect position just a few KM from the start of the Mont Ventoux climb from Bedoin. The hotel staff were all very friendly and we were allowed to lock our bikes in the garage overnight. The room was basic with a shared bathroom but was exactly... More

We returned to the Guintrand hotel this year, having had such a lovely visit last year (2011). The hotel is now under new ownership and although ostensibly the same, and the welcome just as warm, we were a little sad to see some of the lovely furniture replaced with modern ones. Gone are the lovely multi-coloured chairs outside and in... More

A lovely hotel with friendly hosts and excellent food. We arrived by tandem and we made most welcome! It was so good we returned, as we intend to do so again this year. (The only downside is the rooms are very hot at night (in August) and not very well sound insulated.)

Hotel room was clean, we had a shared bathroom for 3 rooms on floor but never saw anyone else use it buy my husband and I. They do have rooms with private bathrooms but I can't give my opinion on those. I believe rooms were filled with family members visiting as it was a long weekend in France. If you... More

This place suprised. Not necessarily much when you see it first, but Frank and the other staff made my friend and I feel amazingly welcome and fed us well with delicious food and booze. the rooms were absolutely grand for 2 star, but the characters and their friendliness and approachability made our stay fantastic! Would love to go again. St... More
