Detailed Reviews
We stayed here three nights. Our room was at the front of the hotel with a small balcony overlooking the Archaeological Museum, we didn't really use the balcony as we preferred to sit on the roof terrace which had fabulous views. You can grab a beer via reception to take up to the terrace for an early evening drink. There is also tea & coffee available to make in the public area near the cafe entrance. Both receptionists were exceptional. The cafe which is part of the hotel serves a great continental breakfast, of which there are 3 choices, we went for the same on everyday, which included Muesli, yoghurt, fruits etc, it was very substantial and set us up for the day. There picnic lunch was great to.
We walked to Pueto de Tazacorte from the hotel via the banana museum and got a bus back.
We also did the Caldera de Taburiente walk (Taxi required) and this was spectacular.
The only disappointment was that the jacuzzi on the roof terrace was cold.
The hotel is a very short walk, under 5 mins from the main shops & restaurants.

Superb location by the lovely downtown Los Llanos.
Professional hotel staff, and a great cafe' in the hotel.
Recommend the museum side of the hotel.
We parked on the street ~150-200 meters from the hotel -- best to plan to park prior to arrival.

This new hotel is located on renovated pedestrian street opposite brand new archeological museum. This means surroundings are nice and you are couple of minutes of walk from historical center.
If coming by car you have to find some parking place in nearby streets which could be difficult.
Hotel is nice, simple, but well equipped 3* establishment. My room had balcony with view on museum and mountains.
To use free wi-fi you have to go to lobby.

Nice furnishings, good location, friendly staff, but unfortunately far too thinly soundproof.
The first morning we could hear constant knocking and noise from the cleaning lady. The second evening we had to listen to long and loud phone calls on the balcony

We stayed two nights in this intimate, (16room) modern hotel, situated in the small town of Los Llanos de Aridane. This is an excellent location for starting a drive through the National Park and up to Roque de Muchachos, or for walking through the lower parts of the park. There are aldo two small coastal towns nearby, each with very good seafood and fish.
Back to the hotel. The staff could not have been nicer or more gracious. The manager and the reception staff helped us plan our wonderful days here. They were knowledgable and enthusiastic in helping us. Though English was not their main language, they were easy to understand. Both nights, the night clerk on duty was also helpful and kind.
The reception area was comfortable and clean, and featured a large badket of fresh fruit. Dont be put off by the appearance of the local bananas, they are thick skinned and delicious. Off the reception area and accessible from the street is a lovely little cafe staffed by two very nice people who readily serbed us cafe con leche, and a hearty cooked to order breakfast, complimented by a small buffet of breads, pastries and delicious marmelades.
Our room was clean, comfy and well lit. The beds were solid, but a bit low for us. However, it turned out to be just fine once we got used to it. We slept soundly, heard no noise from the street or neighboring rooms. There was a lovely little minipool and comfy outside lounge furniture on the roof. We appreciated the minipool after a full day of walking in the Volcanic crater national park.
We had a rental car which we parked in an open lot, behind the museum, opposite the hotel
I caanot say enough good about this very special place, this intimate hotel in a charming small town.

My Partner and I stayed on the west side of La Palma (the dry side) in Los Llanos as a good base for walking. We loved this small friendly hotel, it was clean, quiet, with excellent breakfasts and lovely helpful staff.

e really liked this small hotel.
Well situated opposite the museum on a quiet road with minimal traffic noise.
Well placed for the town centre for finding local restaurants and shops and equally well placed for walkers (of who make up a significant number of their clientele). We walked straight from the hotel to do the Baranco des colores walk but it it is also a good spot if you have a hire car for exploring the west of the island.
Rooms very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast supplied by two lovely ladies who run a breakfast / coffee bar at the front of the hotel. Good breakfast with a varied choices. When this is closed in the later afternoons, you can go up to the roof terrace where there is a kettle and drinks and a lunge / sitting area. They provide little trays so you can take your drinks back to your room.
Excellent picnics (6 euro) well worth it..
We did this weeks walking holiday split between Los Llanos Hotel Benahoare and their sister hotel San Telmo in Santa Cruz de la Palma, so we could walk both sides of the island. Worked really well.

Lovely hotel in centre of town ,lovely modern clean room with views over the museum
Lovely staff excellent breakfast and the opportunity to buy a picnic when hiking.Free parking is opposite behind hotel it can be very busy the hotel offer a garage to park in but this is very tight only suitable for small cars.
The roof terrace was a great place to relax with plenty of sun beds and chairs,i would suggest that the lounge should be open all day so drinks could be accessed whilst chilling out on the terrace.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and were very happy. The staff was very helpful in terms of hiking options and how to get there and the breakfast couldn't be better. We enjoyed being close to the center of the town and public transport.
The room was spotless and comfortable, we had a good sleep. We would definitely come back!
