Very cozy hotel, the bungalow we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Thankyou for the beautiful flower decorations in our room :) They didn't mind our late arrival as we were delayed on the way due to an accident that had happened on the road. The restaurant food was tasty, the live music that evening was very nice too. Breakfast was good, the outdoor breakfast area is very pleasant. Wifi only available in the common area.

I had a nice night staying at this hotel in one of the chalets. The wood made it a bit dark looking but overall it was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice with decent food and a good breakfast. The hotel is also in a convenient location in the middle of the town. Wi-Fi was only available in the communal area around reception.

The hotel has its glory I can tell from the wood carving on the chairs, the building handrails, the roof and chairs in the room. The hotel's garden is nice and spacious as well. However, you can tell it's old style from the room door and windows. The double doors are hard to close and lock. At the end, you can only close one and hoping that the safety is not an issue here. Everything closes before 9. When it is dark, you can't find any hotel staff to ask questions. All you find are guests chatting in the garden or smoking around the stair corners. BTW, the breakfast in the morning is really "contemporary" (their words) which means juice, coffee and bread. If you want eggs, you have to pay for them.

Only one brief night here and arriving in heavy rain, it was a lovely surprise to be shown our chalet which was spacious (with a spare bed on a mezzanine floor), clean and comfortable. A large restaurant a few yards away which had a good choice of meals at very reasonable prices and very tasty. Evening meal was accompanied by some local musicians whose repertoire included "Ob-La-Di, ob-La-Da"! (As an aside, we would have preferred more traditional music :)...)

I liked the wooden carvings on the doors of this hotel, but most of the staff barely speaks French (or any other language for that matter) and as soon as I tried the onion soup I knew something was wrong as it was soaked in mil which of course is all wrong. I left most of it but got very sick. Also, whilst they provide some live music which is nice, the ambiance is generally funereal.

We stopped on long drive from Tana to Fianarantsoa. It was a perfect break. Wonderful food, good wine and beautiful view. In addition, a local folk dance troupe was entertaining the luncheon guests. Delightful.

The restaurant was packed this day which meant we had to sit inside rather than outside to watch local dancers. While we waited for our food we stood outside and watched the show. The food was very slow in arriving and we had to ask the waitress where it was. This made us late departing for our drive to the next place. The restaurant was lovely with the backs of the chairs painted with scenes.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night and it was awful. Rooms are extremely basic and dirty. Bed was just as bad. Bathroom was awful and dirty. We didn’t enjoy our stay one bit. Food at the restaurant was ok though if you consider going only for the meal.

Stayed one night and the hotel was good without being outstanding. Bed was comfortable and the food at the restaurant was tasty. Shower had plenty of hot water which was good after a long drive. Breakfast in the morning was ok as well. Nice enough Enjoy
