Detailed Reviews
The hotel has its glory I can tell from the wood carving on the chairs, the building handrails, the roof and chairs in the room. The hotel's garden is nice and spacious as well. However, you can tell it's old style from the room door and windows. The double doors are hard to close and lock. At the end, you can only close one and hoping that the safety is not an issue here. Everything closes before 9. When it is dark, you can't find any hotel staff to ask questions. All you find are guests chatting in the garden or smoking around the stair corners. BTW, the breakfast in the morning is really "contemporary" (their words) which means juice, coffee and bread. If you want eggs, you have to pay for them.

This hotel is very original, it is a classic among Europeans visiting Madagascar. It is all made in classic local wood. The rooms are cabins there are simple and duplex like the one that touched us. They have a double bed and then upstairs another smaller bed with its window too. There's no fridge. The bathroom is not bad although it has cloth curtains but clean. The best was also his restaurant eats delicious, we ate a super rich orange duck. There is atmosphere with music at dinner. I really liked the truth. At breakfast you have to know how to choose because as it happened to us we ordered a simple breakfast and a full one and they bring you a whole loaf of bread for each one. The room is charged by the person in the restaurant (a woman with glasses) at the same time as dinner, quite unpleasant with very bad mood is the only glue I put to the hotel. I really liked the truth because it is so original. I recommend it 100%

Spacious room, impeccable cleanliness, pay attention to the maintenance of certain sockets which do not work and the sink tap which is a little rickety. I note the warm welcome for our driver and our guide who were able to eat and rest well.
The orchestra of musicians during dinner was well appreciated and did not play too loudly!

We did not stay overnight here, but had lunch with our tour group. We pre ordered food, the selection was varied and had decent vegetarian options. I had vegetable soup which was extremely bland, but the samosas were delicious. Most people enjoyed their meals. Prices were comparable to elsewhere in the country, serving sizes large.
Great view and we had entertainment with lunch.

I had a nice night staying at this hotel in one of the chalets. The wood made it a bit dark looking but overall it was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice with decent food and a good breakfast. The hotel is also in a convenient location in the middle of the town. Wi-Fi was only available in the communal area around reception.

Very cozy hotel, the bungalow we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Thankyou for the beautiful flower decorations in our room :) They didn't mind our late arrival as we were delayed on the way due to an accident that had happened on the road. The restaurant food was tasty, the live music that evening was very nice too. Breakfast was good, the outdoor breakfast area is very pleasant. Wifi only available in the common area.

I enjoyed staying I one of the huts with intricate wooden carvings. There was not much space around the bed so the room felt quite cramped. The shower was quite weak and had some insects in. Overall probably one of the better options in this area.

Minimalist and unfriendly welcome. We were in the room above the restaurant.
Fairly spacious, but unfortunately no hot water. solar panels only. We arrived in the rain, 13 degrees outside. The manager confirmed that we had to wait an hour....we are still waiting.....the wifi is random.
The restaurant is okay, nothing more, but a nice surprise in the evening with a traditional music group.

We were so lucky to find this hotel on our way to Ranomafana as our car broke down. We managed to stay until our car was changed to another vehicle. Comfortable rooms to crash out. With a well stocked bar. The staff was not flexible as our kids were hungry. All we could get was a sandwich with eggs & omelette.
They were not willing to prepare anything further.

Very average hotel, chalets rooms a little too small. No water and very little electricity which does not facilitate in case of need for a rechargeable medical device.... what is the case for my husband... wifi... let's not talk about it... in short it seems that it is the best establishment in the area... so much the better it could have been worse😝. A good point correct restoration.
