This is such a nice peaceful, relaxing place, but so sad at the moment to go there as they have had no rain and it is so dry. Don't go if you are hoping to see game as there is not much to see. They are putting out hay bails for the animals to eat. The water situation is so... More

I am sorry…. We just had one of the worst experiences on our South African trip. We booked a 3 bedroom unit with Mabelingwe for 3 nights, once we arrived we asked if we could upgrade to a better unit and where more than happy to pay any additional fees and cost for the upgrade. We were then told we... More

We love nature and wanted to see the Big 5 without travelling forever. We got a week's booking at Mabalingwe and they bent over backwards to meet our every need and answer our many questions. The cottage was superbly equipped and well maintained. A plus was the loft room with real beds! We were blessed with superb sightings of buffalo,... More

Had an Amazing stay at the Kwalata Luxury Private House. 6 Couples catered for easily in the spacious 12 Sleeper. Loved the tranquility and amazing sunrise and sunset views of the Area and the efficiency of our private home. Nothing was lacking and we got more then expected. Frans made our 3 hour Private Game Drive very special. See you... More

We decided to do a last minute weekend away. Mabalingwe popped up and we called ,booked and were set. On arrival we were pleasantly suprised. It was easy to get around and staff were very welcoming. We stayed at the 6 sleeper chalet on Tlou lodge. The chalet was self catering and very well prepared. Good value for the money... More

Although we have been to this resort previously a few years ago, our unit was much further away from Reception and the main area of the resort. However, this was advantageous as it meant we had lovely views and could hear the hippos in the dams below us! The facilities were very good, eg a heated pool, laundry and, although... More

The chalets are really well equipped with good quality furnishings and utensils. Unfortunately the Ingwe camp is very noisy and should be avoided in favor of Phiri or Kuba camps. Ingwe is badly designed in that the reception is located at the end of the camp, meaning that all vehicles have to drive past your chalet from early in the... More

We had a very relaxing stay at this reserve. Although you don't have the Big 5, its still a wonderful experience. We went in August, it's extremely dry, so one feels for the animals. The warthogs are just all over the place & so cute with their upright tails that reminds one of antennas. we even saw bush pigs &... More

We have been to 25 Cyferfontien 3 times and just love it!! What a beautiful bush house in the heart of Mabalingwe, the bucks came to visit everyday and we were lucky enough to see the genet two nights in a row! Such a peaceful weekend away from the city and perfect way to recharge! Cant wait to go again!!

Presently surprised with a stunning view of the Bushveld. Spotting animals from your table and enjoy the tranquility of African nature. Bigger was the surprise when the food arrived, absolutely brilliant. Definitely on of the best t- bone steak ever. Good wine available to make the meal even more memorable.
