I had a wonderful stay here a few years ago and was just thinking about booking another stay here but seen on their website that they have closed the lodge. The sunsets at Tilodi were incredible! All the best for the future!

This place is very ideal if you just wanna go somewhere and relax and forget about the rest of the world. The resort is situated in a very big game range and we stayed in one of the chalets there, all the chalets are separate and have decent space between them, they all have a private balcony where you can just spend sunrise... It's not necessarily the biggest or best game farm retreat. Maybe not even in the Waterberg. But it distinguishes itself in other ways. It's very homey. The rooms are spacious and well-tended, food is good, and all the staff (esp. Willem and Leah) were genuinely friendly, warm and accommodating. There are fairly decent game sightings (though it was hunting season,... More

We visited Tilodi in June of 2015 and as a family occupied one of the remote guest houses on the farm. This, as before, was such an awesome experience because of the location of the accommodation, the effectiveness and friendly staff and our hosts (Johan and Nelia). Great people, great place - we will certainly go back.

We stayed at Tilodi for a weekend photography workshop and it was fabulous! They went out of their way to accommodate us as the facilitators and attendees to go shoot the stars in the bushveld. Food was marvelous and the service was top notch. The only downside was the lack on animals and bird life but the tranquility and accommodation... More

We stay in Scotland and booked a week's holiday in Tilodi from the 26 December to the 2nd of January 2015. It was an amazing experience. The staff were friendly and the rangers on the game drives professional and full of knowledge about the trees and animals. The food was out of this world! It was a week we really... More

My son booked Tilodi to host his wedding on 8th December 2014. He selected them after extensive research and visits to other venues. We have just returned from the wedding and it was nothing sort of outstanding in every respect. Tilodi is small enough for such an intimate event with there being 30 in the wedding party. For the staff... More

We utilised Tilodi Wilderness to have our Annual Planning Work Session. 16 members attended. We really were very well looked after and had way to much to eat! There was no distractions and we could focus on the work. In the evening one appreciated the calm and quietness of the area. The chalets and tents were very neat and clean... More
