A four day stay here the location & house is stunning. Your accommodation is separate from the owners Christina & Owens house so you have the whole place to yourself. Your self contained accommodation has a lovely large lounge furnished to an exceptional level with various media equipment to amuse you should the weather be inclement, the kitchen marries in... Seriously though. Wow. Though I'd like to keep this place all to myself, I'll share my review for The Sanctuary's sake. I don't even know where to begin! The cottage is just adorable. Spacious and so perfectly fitted out, we fell in love with it and didn't want to leave. The bed was comfy and warm, and the clawfoot bath... More

We needed to “get away” and there was no better place to do this than Springbrook National Park. We chose the The Sanctuary B&B as our accommodation as we felt we wanted to stay somewhere a “bit special”. Our booking and enquiries were dealt with efficiently and promptly. On arrival, a friendly greeting, fire turned on, and we settled in... More

I managed to book The Sanctuary for a one night stay on a Sunday night to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We were very very impressed by the overall establishment. We are seasoned travellers and have stayed in many Bed & Breakfast establishments here and in different countries...I would recommend The Sanctuary to anyone looking for quiet seclusion, exemplary 1st... Christina and Owen have done a great job of creating a couples retreat on the Springbrook plateau. The Sanctuary is in a great location within walking distance of Purlingbrook falls and 3 local cafes. We spent the day walking the circuit below the falls in misty rain and came back to the cottage for a hot bath and time in... More

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay - the apartment is very spacious with a large ensuite and wrap around deck. Suggested improvements to make this a truly 4 star establishment would be some lovely complimentary toiletries and to serve breakfast as advertised.... we were disappointed that a fresh fruit platter was not served. The setting is... More

We stayed for one night at very late notice when we were stranded in the pouring rain. We must be the luckiest people! The welcome was warm (especially from the beautiful, sweet natured dogs), the cottage is charming, gardens are gorgeous, breakfast fantastic. Essentially you get your own private cottage adjacent to the owners' property. Loved every second; the only... More

The Sanctuary was recommended to us when looking for a relaxing getaway and they were spot on. From the moment you arrive everything is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice it is just a special place. We booked the package which included flowers, chocolates, champagne, dinners and pampering products just to name a few things. It is well worth... More

My wife and I have just spend 3 nights at The Sanctuary with the most charming and helpful of hosts, Christina and Owen. The living room, fantastic bathroom and excellent bedroom are all in a separate building reached by a small walkway - this gives a terrific feeling of being really well looked after, yet being able to have our...
