Stayed in the Rosella cabin & our friends stayed nearby in the Pita cabin for 2 nights. Cabins were both very nice with plenty of room. You need to take your own food as no restaurants close by especially at night. Fully equipped kitchens & barbie on the deck so not an issue with cooking. The wood fire is beautiful with plenty of wood available with extra outside in the woodshed & the spa bath was also very nice. The cabins are so private and you can’t see the other cabins through the thick rainforest. A bottle of bubbly and juice & milk were nice complimentary extras in our fridges. Will definitely come back to stay again.

Have just returned from two wonderful nights stay in the Pitta cabin. Located in the middle of the rainforest it was so quiet and peaceful and the perfect location to explore the various walks in the Springbrook National Park. The cabin was lovely complete with fire place and spa and lots of special touches. Sitting on the balcony each morning with a coffee listening to the birds was the perfect way to start the day before adventuring off on our daily walks of views and waterfalls. The host was also very friendly and had lots of local knowledge. Highly recommend

A beautiful cottage in the hills,we were surrounded by wallabies and parrots, on entering ROSELLA cottage it was warm, and delightfully cosy. For Christmas Day We had a breakfast basket, a bottle of Champagne, Port wine, and jellied fruit cups given by our hosts!! The Webber Q was great to use for our meals , the extra large spa for two was lovely after a day of hiking.A holiday stay, for peace and quiet, hiking and exploring the National Park !!

This property is just what we needed for our first year wedding anniversary. It was secluded but not very far from amenities, it was quiet but serene and peaceful and it was cold but the romantic fireplace did the job very well. The Pitta cabin is a beautiful cabin which complimented the surrounding forest. it just gave you a homey feeling as soon as you stepped in it. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the lovely stay.

I stayed by myself for two nights in Pitta cabin. It was so quiet, isolated and peaceful but yet with an abundance of plant life and bird calls. The cabin was very comfortable with more amenities and lovely little touches, than expected. I would recommend this to any couple or single who wants a very quiet recharge - with lots of walks and lookouts close by.

Love it totally. We had been wanting to come here for a two night break for ages. We were not disappointed. Stayed in the Pitta cabin. Lovely, clean comfortable and totally relaxing. Even in November we needed warm clothes as it’s about 10c cooler up there. The log fire got used, what a nice relaxing time we had. Ash our host, gave us excellent information on check in re walks etc around the area. We got some good walks in,Twin Falls,Natural Bridge,Best Of All Lookout. Etc etc.
No mobile reception of internet up there, but if you drive about a bit you get pockets of mobile coverage. Would highly recommend as it’s super relaxing and set in very secluded private cabins and cottages. Superb stay.

My husband loves Camping, and I love fancy hotels. Given that it was his birthday I had to find a suitable compromise and Lyrebird Retreat was perfect. It’s quant, comfortable, cosy and clean. A little rustic but it is after all a cabin in the woods. Bushwalking not for me either, but the tracks near the cabin produce some breathtaking sights and I kinda got what all the fuss is about! It’s easy to lose track of time and forget about the stresses of everyday life. We are already talking about going back for our wedding anniversary :)

Comfortable very clean and private cottages with good kitchen, fire place aircon, staff don't bother you at all. Definitely bring all you need as no restaurants around a few good coffee chops with Cafe food. Recommended "Dancing Waters " Cafe. Owner was so welcoming and great lunch food.

Our second stay at Lyrebird Retreat, this time in Pitta Cabin. Enchanting mossy rock-lined path leads to the secluded cabin. Love the peace and serenity tucked away in the rainforest with only birdsong. Paddymelons visit too but a little skittish. The spa overlooks the rainforest as does the deck. Cosy cabin with fireplace and a breaky hamper provided. No wifi and phone coverage is sketchy. Ideal escape.

A log cabin in the rainforest equipped with all you need for a few nights away.
Sitting on the balcony a few feet away from the trees was a unique experience and the thunderstorm thrown in for good measure was dramatic.
A short drive away from Best of All Lookout and Twin Falls walk.
Recommended for a relaxing getaway.
