Sleep in a Treehouse Yurt or Cozy Mountain Chalet Cabin, each with fully equipped kitchen, modern bath, deck and lots of windows. There is a charcoal grill. Wood is provided for your campfire. On 70 private wooded acres, hike the trails, walk the 11-circuit fieldstone labyrinth in the meadow, roast marshmallows under the stars, and do absolutely nothing. Nearby go swimming, kayaking, attend concerts, visit quaint towns, museums and a bookstore village, dine at local restaurants featuring local foods. In winter, cross-country on our trails or ski at nearby mountains. Back at the Hill, if you would like more than our nature to nurture you, choose personal or couple coaching, and other professional services. Towels in the bathroom and beds are made. Private parking right nearby. List of local attractions and restaurants w/directions are provided. The yurts are open 3 seasons; the mountain chalet cabin is open year round. Breathtaking views of hills and farms and countryside abound. We are taking special precautions during COVID. After through cleaning, we are disinfecting all touchable surfaces, airing out the chalet, then disinfecting again. All bed and bath linens are washed in hot water and dried on hot settings. The cleaners wear a mask and gloves when they clean. The owner wears a mask for checkin and requests guests do likewise.

My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night get away immensely. Our Green yurt was more than we could of expected. Clean, airy, all the immendities of home. Bathroom, kitchen, were immaculate, king bed was comfy, clean sheets and pillowcases. The tranquility was mind blowing. The meadow was peaceful, trails were easy. Looking forward to another stay. Thank you Chris and staff for making it memorable. Fran and Gwen

We spent 3 nights in the Chalet; no complaints! The views are awesome (windows everywhere!) and it's very quiet and really lets you unplug and just enjoy nature. Perfect for enjoying some coffee on the porch in the morning (while some deer friends walk by) and wine on the porch (or by the fire) at night! On a clear night you'll see SO MANY stars! Treat yourself to a dinner catered from the nearby Stone & Thistle Farm too! Due to COVID we didn't explore nearby towns and businesses too much but we felt completely safe and secure and relaxed at the Chalet!

i'm glad you enjoyed your stay here. and that you felt safe on our 70 wooded acres. the cleaners make sure all surfaces are disinfected as well as cleaning the linens in hot water and drying on the highest heat. and our nature is nurturing at any time but especially during this pandemic.

It was a long time coming to be able for the two of us to just get away having worked nonstop for the past eight months. We were looking someplace where we could just be and relax. No phones. No problems. Just peace. We sure found it. We like to camp so we opted for glamping. Our yurt was clean, comfortable and cozy. Standing on the deck at night in absolute silence. We walked out into the meadow at night to a crystal clear sky with thousands of stars to the naked eye. We hiked the 2 mile trail of easy-moderate terrain. It is near impossible to get lost, and we’ve been known to have done that a time or two but usually intentionally, because the trails are clearly marked. At the end of the trail, you arrive at the meadow where the labyrinth is. Stop and enjoy the quiet solitude. We began planning our next trip here before we left.

i'm so happy your family enjoyed their time in the cabin. three generations! so i guess the hill has something for all ages. the cabin was actually designed by an artist who calls herself a want-to-be architect. she had an old cabin removed and designed the new one (well, that was 1989) with wrap-around windows and skylights, wrap-around deck and balcony off the sleeping loft.... to let in all the nature that surrounds the cabin. thanks for coming. and do come again to experience a different season?

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Green Yurt. What a fun experience, our first stay in a Yurt but not the last. The Yurt was perfect, extremely clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and chairs. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Bathroom shower temperature and pressure were excellent. It's cozy and roomy at the same time! The morning we left, a thunderstorm came rolling in. I watched the lighting show right through the ceiling while lying in my bed! We went to two recommendations, the Mine Kill Falls and the Blue Bee Cafe. We enjoyed both thoroughly. Everyone at the falls was respectful with masks and keeping socially distant. The Blue Bee Cafe had inside dining and take out. We did take out but it looked like they were being pretty strict about keeping the customers far apart from each other. Food was yummy! Aside from the lightning show, two unexpected and wonderful surprises, Mama and baby turkeys crossing the road AND a cow, out of nowhere, just moseying on the road. Chris is great as well. Extremely friendly and very responsive with calls, texts and emails. Loved, loved, loved this place!
