We stay there lots and use it as our Beach House !!! We usually try for the ground floor G2 its a funky pad with no sea view but walk out from its private courtyard and you are on the beach or by the pool. Terry and Gillian manage the place with genuine friendliness. This is not an expensive place... More

This is my regular gold coast accomodation choice. the price is very reasonable, the rooms are small but well laid out. the best part however is the location - walk past the pool and you're right down on the beach. area is also close to Teddar - great food.

Read recent review and must say gripe taken by unhappy customer does not accord with my experience. Many smaller apartment blocks don't have airconditioning. Modern hotels have an auto shutdown of airconditioning if for or window left open. If that mechanism not available owners face high elec costs as tenants just go out leaving ac on all day. Fact is... We recently had a stay at Hibiscus and were very impressed with the amazing views, the front access to the beach and the outstanding friendliness and attention given to us by Terry and Gillian, the Managers.

This hotel is NOT worth the price it charges! As the following photos etc will show, it's far from a good standard! It should be labelled CLEARLY that there is no air conditioning in the unit! It's something that is thought to be standard almost on the Gold Coast with the humidities and temperatures it can reach here! In its... More

We went there for a week during the school holiday. When we arrived I was disappointed with the size of the apartment and with the age of the building. There were roaches and dodgy plumbing which took some getting used to. There was no air conditioning so the nights were hot and slightly difficult. The 7 eleven just opposite shone... More

The place has lovely views of main beach and great front access to the beach as well. There is a lovely cafe across the road and a 7/11 which makes things convenient if you need something but do not want to go out. The rooms however are a little dated and our room had no air condition and no ceiling... More

We stayed here after Christmas in Room 802. Beautiful views. The unit was dated but a very comfortable unit. Plenty of room on the balcony. It is a shame there isn't a second toilet, but that probably increase the price. Terry and his wife were absolutely a gem to deal with. I would highly recommend this place and will be... More

When arriving, I was greeted by a lovely warm smile by Terry. He made every effort to get us into our room so that we could sleep off the jet lag and get acclimated, after 30+ hours of travel....it was wonderful to be greeted with such warmth. The apartment was exactly as described, Ocean front views and the sound of... More

It's such an awesome place! We were there for a girls weekend away (3 nights). Greeted by lovely staff, our flight was delayed but they stayed back to make sure we were able to check in. Staff also gave us lots off useful information for our trip. Thanks so much Gillian and Terry, you are just amazing! The room is... More
