Detailed Reviews
Me and a group of friends visited Zakynthos from 15/07/20 to 22/07/20 and we stayed in this beautiful hotel. The location of this hotel was perfect for us because it was mere steps away from the beach and the shops, bars and restaurants were very close by. We visited during the Covid pandemic and the hotel was clean and we saw the staff cleaning communal areas often and thoroughly in masks. We felt very safe from arrival to departure.
The hostess was lovely and very friendly. There was a slight issue with our rooms as it did not have a kitchenette despite us booking "self-catered", but that was no issue for the wonderful hostess, who moved us very quickly and with no trouble.
I thought the pool was beautiful, clean and our sea views were stunning. My only issue with our rooms was that the shower head did not properly fix to the wall, so quite often were had to hold it, but that was a minor issue.
My group had the best time and loved the hotel, we definitely want to return. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Denise Beach for making our holiday splendid.

My wife and I are now an elderly couple, who likes to travel. So after all the lockdowns we decided to go for summer vaccination to the Greece. Denise beach hotel looked quite nice in the agency catalog, nice rooms, elegant dining room, nice pool, pool bar and so on. The most important thing the hotel stands right on the beach.
Hotel architecture is kind of an afterthought. The room, which we were eventually allocated (after waiting few hours) was very small with an washing sink at the side of entrance and extremely small bathroom. Air conditioning was working perfectly.
The disappointment came in the evening, when we went to diner (half-board). The dinner was self served in an open space on the left side of the bar and not in the dining room. Cheap plastic tables and chairs, no tablecloth and no tableware. The food, especially meat was second rate and not prepared well. Over the next 14 days the food didn’t change much.
This was not a 4* experience I would expect

Dear Guest We are very sorry about you being disappointed but we think that you are a little bit unfair. Check in is at 15:00 but we did our best and checked you in much earlier. Regarding the room, the washing sink was outside not because there is no space but because this is the last tension in architecture. Our dinner for half board guests is a buffet one and as it is well known all around the world, this is self service. In additional because our hotel operates only during the summer, there is not a closed dining room but there is a special place for that. Our chairs and tables are not plastic and they are sterilized all during the buffet time. Our products are not second but first rate and always local. Enjoy your travelling all around the world Best Regards

Me and my friends came to stay at denise beach hotel and had a pleasant stay however there are a couple things not mentioned before you book here ie. you have to pay €12 a night for aircon and €3 a night to be able to use the safe in the rooms. the rooms themselves were okay, they were a bit of a let down as they looked nothing like the pictures on the website which was a bit misleading. we also were informed when booking that the rooms were self catering rooms so we expect a fridge a sink, some sort of area to be able to prepare food like a small hob and maybe some cutlery. unfortunately all that was provided was a mini fridge. we also did find a silverfish in one of our rooms which wasnt very pleasant. the staff were very kind and helpful especially the blonde lady at the front desk i forgot to get her name before we left but her customer service was amazing and she was so friendly and accommodating, as well as the bar and restaurant staff too. it is a family run hotel so if your looking for a place to stay in Zante for the party and strip aspect its not the best place to stay as you will get noise complaints and threatened to be kicked out by the owner herself. overall the actual hotel itself was lovely the amenities were great. lovely pool, loads of sun loungers and great options for food and drinks. the only fault would be the miscommunication with the aircon and safe prior to booking with the hotel and the correct rooms not being showed on the website.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very nice receptionist who was quite helpful. However she told us we would have to pay 12€ each if we wanted to use the air conditioning in the room. We payed the money because it is an extremely hot time of year. The room itself was very small, as there was 4 of us and we could have done with a little bit more space. There was 4 beds crammed into a room and the air conditioning only worked on one side of the bedroom. There was also no storage for any of our clothes so we found the room getting quiet messy at times because our stuff was everywhere. The balcony only had two chairs and could only comfortably accommodate two people, for a four person room.
On the second night we were told by a different extremely rude lady that we were not aloud to talk to anyone in the other rooms. She informed us that she had heard us talking to the people on the balcony beside our room. This was before 10pm. She warned us that if we were to talk loud or make any noise we would be out put of the hotel. Keep in mind, we were not playing music or being overly loud at all. So we tried our best to be on our best behaviour for the last 5 nights as we were a quiet scared of this ladys threats.
The receptionist that was originally nice and helpful became instantly cold with us, which continued for the rest of our 5 days. Even in the mornings we would hardly receive a greeting. We thought this was very strange coming from a receptionist who was originally very pleasant.
When leaving, the hotel did ring a taxi for us and also allowed us to store our bags there before checking out.
We felt very disappointed on leaving at the way the staff of this hotel had treated us. This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from a very busy party strip for young people, but perhaps the hotel might be better for an older age group.
We tried to enjoy our 7 night stay as much as we could but we found ourselves staying away from the hotel for most of our time because we felt like we were constantly being watched.
Some positives, the hotel is very close to the Laganas strip, and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, and nice restaurants. The pool was nice and clean. We received clean beach towels everyday once we returned the used ones also which was nice.

Not what we expected at all given it is meant to be a 4 star hotel - definitely not this at all! The sheets had yellow stains on them, the room we were given is nothing like the promotional photos - the shower makes the bathroom basically turn into a wet room as the water goes everywhere due to a broken shower head and poor shower curtain. My advice would be to make sure you book a renovated room if possible (I don't think we got the choice) and a sea view. However the staff were all lovely and from our balcony (on the top floor) the view was good of the sea even though it wasn't facing it directly. Ultimately the vast amount of money we spent for this hotel for our post A level was not worth it and there are a lot nicer and better hotels across Laganas.

Wow where do I start, absolutely awful awful awful customer service. The manager was constantly rude throughout our stay, silencing me with her finger, just because of a disagreement!!! Everyone involved in this hotel should feel ashamed. Me and my friends was playing music around 8pm at night and they kicked us out and left us homeless, scrounging about looking for a place to say. I can very much say I highly reccomend you do not stay here. Don’t even want to go into the dirtiness of our room aswell!

Dear Guest We are very unhappy that you had such a awful holiday in our hotel. The thing is that we always try to do our best for all our guests to have a nice stay. We are a family hotel with all kind of ages and nationalities and that is why a very important rule of ours is everybody to respect everybody. We also keep the common quiet hours. That is why troublemakers with unsocial, uncultivated, disrespectful attitude are not accepted here. It was not your playing music around 8pm but your disturbance your neighboring rooms at early hours and so many other disrespectful incidents towards the rest of our guests. In additional we would like to notice that there is a daily room cleanliness but when people party all night and sleep all day, not allowing our house keepers to enter the room, that can not be possible. We keep no hard feelings though. But next time it is better for you to choose a hotel that complies with your way of having fun and not a family one. Best Regards

Super not recommended!!!
* Rooms: ⚠️attention cheat⚠️, both through agency and through Booking sell rooms that do not exist in photos (see my review to get an idea)
Old rooms, very hot, dirty and very small!
* staff: rude at best and do not listen to customer requests, enter rooms (I happened 3 times) despite putting out the door the do not disturb sign.
I asked for a double bed (months before Reservation) never had!
After the room problem they found me a solution after 5 days of stay (also this room is not present with photos in the various online brokers)
* air conditioning: for a fee 12€ per day, among other things very old and dirty air conditioners without maintenance.
* Cleaning: we arrived and found the room already dirty (even a nail, look at the photos), about daily cleaning the linen change is never carried out, the bed is simply tidied up, about towels replace only dirty ones, finally the floors, never cleaned, not even a sweep.
* There is no wardrobe and bidet
* Reception closed in the evening (there is a security person (who also gave me the wrong Check-out time, practically useless)
Only positive notes:
* a few meters away there is a parking
* Location
* Beach of their own, although the sea leaves much to be desired especially from 1pm onwards (very dark water)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I paid a lot for this property, and for the room and the service received I was not at all happy, if I knew I would have chosen something else, at least I would have saved a little...

We spent our honeymoon in Denise Beach Hotel (originally we wanted to go to Dominican Republic but the flight was cancelled because of Covid). People were really nice and helpful, the room and the view was beautiful.
We really liked that the hotel has own beach and it was close to Laganas center but we didn't hear the loud music or any other noises, so we could take rest or sleep at the opened window and hear the waves of the sea :)
One tiny thing was a little annoying: the breakfast has not so big selection like we expect.
We spent here 2 weeks and we recommend the hotel, if you come here you wont regret :)

Unreal smoothies, free room upgrade, very polite staff who didn’t try beg for your money and a very nice view from all rooms. walking distance from the strip and cleaners did an excellent job cleaning up. were able to walk straight into the sea from hotel which was fun and close to all excursions such as turtle spotting boat trip.

We stayed here for 1 week, the hotel is within walking distance of the party mile but is amazingly quiet. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The staff was very polite and motivated throughout.
The only reason for 1 star less is that you have to pay for air conditioning, but otherwise really top, maybe more for couples and friends than for families.

The reception of the AKA old build is wheelchair accessible - on the left part of the building, there is a ramp that leads to the reception. From there, there is an elevator and you can reach your room if the case is that your room is in the same building, which I don't recommend because the rooms are old and obsolete.
The pool and the buffet attached to this building can be accessed with a wheelchair too.
The beach is very close, in case you would like to stay on the beach.
Hi there Well there are two options there is the apartment which is more expensive but more family friendly and spacious there is a sea view but it is mediocre.but then there is the studio which is smaller but has a nice sea view and right under you is the bar and pool and quick access to the sea which only residents can use.
