We stayed 10 days and were lucky enough to have a ground floor room in the new apartment block with a pool. We arrived to be welcomed by Kostas the hotel owner who reconised us straight away from our prievious visits. Check in was very fast and we were in our room across the road in minutes. There were lots of young holiday makers in the apartment block and around the pool, we thought it would be noisy, however most were sleeping on the sun beds or had ear phones in listerning to music, bearing in mind I am 60 years old and my wife 50 were did feel out of place. We made friends with our young nieghbours and got along very well. The hotel has done more improvements over the winter and upgraded the rooms with nice showers and decor. As always its entertiament is second to none with Fatti and his fire show. The food gets better every year and its nice to see fresh fruit and veg growig in the gardens and Nicko makes sure every thing in the restaurant runs very smoothly. The staff are always at hand to help if need be, they are always smiling and this tells me they are happy to work in this hotel like a big happy family. As always the holiday is over and we wish we were staying for a few more days, we are definitely returning again in 2020

We were booked into the Perkes hotel for 4 nights but on arrival were moved to Poseidon beach due to Perkes closing early. Hotel was lovely, right on the beach. Swimming pool was fair size but freezing. There was a pool bar with serve yourself cocktails, pour your own beer and wine and soft drinks. There was fresh baked pizza, sandwiches and pastries along with ice cream and other sweets. There was a beach bar area that was closed as end of season. Looked like would’ve been fun. Beach was nice enough. Crystal clear water and very shallow. Walk along the beach and within 2-3 mins plenty of beach bars and sports bars. All very reasonable prices, 2-3 euros a large beer. Back at hotel the main restaurant was large with an outside seating area. The staff were amazing and the food was either nice or excellent. One Sunday we had lamb shanks, very nice meat. There was always plenty of choice. Breakfast was cereal, toast, omelettes, full English etc. juices, coffee, tea etc. there was plenty of lunch and dinner was always plentiful and well cooked. Again in here was self service drinks as by the pool bar. The lobby was spacious and check in staff lovely. Paid fee for in room safe. Room was double room with balcony on 3rd floor. Was overlooking pool with partial sea view. Nice and quiet at night but out of season. Have heard can be lively to say the least in season. Shower, bath and plenty of wardrobe space with in room fridge. Entertainment was quiet but did have some evenings in main bar past reception in evenings with TUI reps. Music, quizzes and general fun with excellent service from lovely bar staff. Hotel was a bit off the main strip but easy walking distance. Lots of bars to have a drink in and great fun. Would definitely return to hotel but at more of a peak time when strip is open. We were all 40 odd and had nice relaxing time but would love to go back earlier in season to show youngsters how to party lol.

Nine of us have just returned from laganasi in zakynthos last month for the third year running and we all came back wishing we were still their. Although this year we went in the peak time it was not too overcrowded for the time of year. We all stayed once again at the poseidon beach hotel on a self catering basis. The hotel was as great as it was last year with all the staff remebering us right away, a mention has to go to kostas a top guy(i hope i have spelt it right). He worked his socks off from the day we arrived until we left and made everyone feel welcome and at home NOTICE ( HE IS THE OWNER) Like i said for this time of year it wasn't as busy as we all expected but that made our stay all the better. Out and about laganas we went down to the strip street and the bars often, were all the staff were great and the food was fantastic. we have have a greek night but that didn't take any of the atmosphere away from it in the night time as the staff more than made up for the loss of this thursday event. Another haunt of our each night was hawaian bar on the main road and this place was normally our local for the entire holiday were you were served by Martina and Annie who made you feel welcome and are now our freinds. One notable night not to be missed is the elvis impesonator night, who is a bloke from Rochdale. What a laugh we all had with him. Again we also frequented the shop next door to the poseidon beach Hotel (nemasis), spiros who runs this shop who sells everything you might want on your holiday that you have forgotten to bring with you. If you need breakfast then theres no better place to go than poseidon resturant ( breakfast it's huge)who also has the best chef there again in poseidon beach Hotel.amazing beach and pool . we miss the entertainment as it was end of the season . The Airport is still a pain on the way home though and they are very hot on excess luggage. Apart from the last three negative points laganas and Zante is a wonderful place to go for a holiday with families and we will all be going back again in the future as we have fallen in love with the island and the people and have made good freinds with some of the locals

We booked in, reception staff efficient and polite. At 8.30 we were greeted with loud music coming from the restaurant upstairs. The music continued to get louder and louder. We couldn’t sleep couldn’t even hear tv. Midnight I phoned reception. Eventually we we moved for one night only. We we told there were no more weddings. We decided to relax at the rooftop pool and found our selves surrounded by wedding guests . We waited for guests to disperse before returning to our room. As we walked down stairs in our swim ware we found ourselves having to walk through the wedding .This felt intimidating and highly inappropriate. On returning to our room for our siesta we again had to endure the music and banging.
