Shellona Luxury Rooms & Apartments is a magnificent beachfront apartment complex, located in the famous area of Laganas. It is a wonderful choice for everyone seeking truly relaxing holidays, either alone or with family and friends. The Complex was renovated in 2020, with eco-friendliness in mind and with the use of eco-friendly materials. The complex consists of 2 buildings, offering 15 rooms in total: 13 triple rooms, 1 baby suite and 1 apartment with 3 bedrooms. The building on the beachfront is numbered 2, and offers 5 rooms, whereas Building one is on the back of the complex, offering 10 rooms. The apartment complex is spread upon three levels (ground, first and second floor) and most of the rooms offer a view of the sea. Additionally, a few meters away, our guests will find a family restaurant under the same ownership, where they can enjoy the large and hearty breakfast and taste a wide variety of both traditional and international recipes.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Shellona during our trip to Zakynthos in July 2021. We loved our stay, the room and the friendly service there. The room got cleaned perfectly everyday and also the breakfast at Sanpiero restaurant was always tasty. The staff is very helpful and always friendly. If we ever get the chance to travel to Zakynthos again, we will definitly choose Shellona as our hotel again!

I booked direct with Shellona after reading many reviews and have to say the photos lived up to expectation. I kept in contact with Shellona by e-mail and was greeted upon arrival by helpful and friendly staff and all the necessary details explained. I went for the deluxe room with sea view, everything was kept spotless and cleaned daily with frequent changes of bed linen and towels. There was a decent fridge, kettle, toaster and the owners had left complimentary wine, water and soft drinks.
The bedroom had air conditioning with a remote control, which was used to its full capacity. Also TV with remote which I managed to get Netflix on. The shower was fantastic, no loss of pressure and had a combination of rainfall and normal shower head. There were no cold showers and had hot water all the time.
As their photos show there is a hanging rail (may need a few more hangers) with two drawers underneath and storage for shoes/flip flops. Also a useful pull out make-up mirror in the bedroom. There is a small safe in the room which had keys to open and close, the staff make you aware "do not lose the key" as it is very difficult to get into if this gets lost.
I booked bed and breakfast and this is served at Sanpiero Restaurant - literally steps from the rooms. Couldn't fault the service or food, breakfast was served from 8.00 until 11.00 with a range of options and had a meal their in the evening as well.
Everything was great I couldn't fault the staff, rooms and outside areas were kept spotless (which is hard being right on the beach and everyone walking sand everywhere). Would highly recommend a stay, if you want a place with some luxury and to be near the bars/night life/restaurants but far enough away to get some sleep and have a rest and chill out.

I had 10 wonderful days in the lovely Shellona Rooms & Apartments. The room was spacious enough and even though no seaview room was available when I booked I had a little seaview from my ground floor room. The staff was always very helpful and smiling, the room has been cleaned and equipped with fresh towels (including a big one for the beach) everyday. The fridge was filled with welcome drinks, - water, softdrinks and a bottle of wine, what a nice gesture! The bathroom well equipped with a huge and well-working rainshower. All in all spotless, beautiful and very welcoming. I'll recommend it without constraints!

Stayed at Shellona for five nights and can't fault it. The host Nick is friendly and easily reachable on WhatsApp if you have any issues or questions.
The rooms are cleaned daily, and they also give extra beach towels which come in handy if your doing day trips, excursions or sitting beach front.
The property is close to the beach and many restaurants.
The room is clean and the communal areas are also nicely kept.
Breakfast is served daily at there local restaurant.
Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were small but pretty and clean! (no reception, only calls and whatsapp with the staff) Restaurants,shops and rentals are near to the hotel. The breakfast was ok but if you stay longer you'll get tired of it. The beach in front of the hotel was average you need a car or bike to see really nice ones. But if you swim out far enough there's a chance of seeing a turtle without a boat tour! Also we didn't know there were a lot of loud bars around the corner with a lot of people but you can't hear them from the rooms! All in all it was a nice stay, especially for younger people because of the partys (we didn't go to)
(the hotel gave us an airport taxi that cost nearly 50 euros for 10mins drive, but around the corner from the rooms are taxis for 17 euros!!!)

The Shellona family made our stay one that we will never forget! The attention to the guests is amazing, they are very friendly and are there for any local advise you may need (they even helped me find a rental car) The restaurant included in the reservation is definitely the best in the area and also has super friendly staff.
Our room was very confortable with super cold A/C and great balcony looking straight at the ocean. The location is great, close to night life, but also far enough to where noise is not an issue.
My family and I highly recommend Shellona for any type of vacation. We will definitely come back to them!

Not Only the rooms are pretty and comfortable(some even gave jacuzzi and everything is brand new), but also located right in front of the sea making for a wonderful view. Wifi, Also an option to watch Netflix. Urobiony board, safe, kettle, Hair dryer and More depending on the room - All those important details included. Owners and staff are really kind and helpful. This part of the beach is perfect for swimming/water activities - close enough to All the action but with More space in the water (area a few hundread metres away gets overcrowded). The hotel’s restaurant next door has amazing food with fair portions, clearly made with love. Falling asleep and waking up while listening to the sea was great too.

say what you like about Laganas. If you are staying there then these apartments are perfect. A family run affair with exemplary attention to detail. The fridge stays on when the power goes off, provision of beach towels, immaculately clean, fantastic sized beds with great pillows and high quality bedding, food in the restaurant, well designed showers. Welcome drinks in the fridge, great service and support from Nick. I honestly couldn't fault this place at all.

This is the second time we stayed here. Amazing hospitality and modern room design! The room was getting cleaned daily and you have every equipment you may need. Also very close to the beach where you will have free sunbeds and umbrella. We'll definitely visit again!

Everything was perfect! Super nice owner, staff and location. You can go for a swim every morning because the hotel is literally right at the ocean. As is the restaurant where you’ll get a nice breakfast every morning. With ocean view of course.
I immediately saw two turtles on the first days at Shellona and could explore a lot of the island and surroundings from there.
Rooms are really quiet and you almost don’t here anything of the other guests, which I really enjoyed.
Definitely go here if you feel like a relaxed but still social holiday :)
