Very nice service, beautiful and clean swimming pool.
When it comes to meals, breakfasts should be more diverse.
The downside is the lack of fresh fruit.
The rooms are cleaned every day, which is a big plus because large amounts of sand are often brought in so close to the beach.
At the bar you will find a nice bartender, Cristiano, who makes tasty drinks.

Lovely stay at the karras hotel. I stayed at hotel with seven of my friends and we all enjoyed it. Every single one of the staff were really friendly and walk to the strip wasn’t too bad at 20 minutes. Would recommend to go with a group of friends and the staff didn’t mind us playing our music by the pool.

The hotel is close to the beach and only a few minutes away from restaurants, supermarkets shops etc. The working staff at the reception, restaurant and bar was very friendly and tried their best whenever there was a question or problem. The pool area, reception and rooms were always clean. The rooms had a good size and enough space for storage. The food was okay.

I with my family and my little son came for first time to Laganas Zante after almost 3 month of lockdown and we needed urgently holidays !
Check in took a little more time than usual as we had to sign many papers mostly regarding covid-19 and we were explained by a genleman who was the manager that due to covid-19 health and safety protocols we had to make a request to the main reception if we would like somebody to enter our room to clean it or to change our towels.
We decided nobody to enter our room as we wanted to be as safe as it could be.
Excellent swimming pool with very clean water !
Buffet restaurant had a variety of dishes mainly Mediterranean cuisine where we like it a lot and food was very tasty.
The room was very nice and the balcony with a fantastic view to the swimming pool of the hotel.
we had excellent holidays that we needed after all these months of social isolation !
we will come next year !

This is one of the worst holiday hotels I’ve ever been too and it simply ruined my holiday.
Firstly don’t bother with the breakfast because it is absolutely dreadful. You’re better off cracking an egg on the wall and let it cook from the sun.
Secondly the staff is extremely rude and even caught him cutting holes into the seats of our (4) quad bikes because we found him in our room whilst we were out, therefore confronted and recorded him.
Lastly the A/C was leaking in the balcony which made a massive puddle of water and the staff blamed us for the leak when we didn’t even get a chance to use it. We came into a flooded balcony!!
Stay away from this place it’s honestly not worth your time. Go find something that is worth the money spent.
P.S if your a person of colour, expect different treatment (racism flows easily through this hotel)

Initially our checking in was smooth regardless of all the paper work due to COVID-19. However, the hotel room was boiling due to the AC being left of before entering. The sleep wasn’t pleasant due to the pillows being as high as a mountain and also the constant need to ask for towels was worrying. The customer service from some staff was okay but the worrying thing was the fact the we found a member of staff In our room at 3 am in the morning using his card. So I could hate to imagine How terrifying this could be for a group of girls. when questioning him he tried to use the excuse that we was loud and that he knocked on the door. Which was ridiculous As we was in our rooms. It also felt that he kept looking to see if we had brung a friend into our room which wasn’t the case. As well as some subtle racism when we asked wether we could bring our friend we was told “no not the African one” after this incident we had a disagreement and the next and final morning we found that our rented quad bikes had been damaged through vandalism and the hotel did nothing to help identify the individual that may have cause it which led to us having to pay a 300 euro bill. Also the AC would leak all over the balcony and staff tried accused us of damaging the machine. Ridiculous. Avoid at all costs it will ruin your experience of all the great things and people of Greece. The racism was through out the trip and was very felt.

The staff - particularly the front desk staff, were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is located well and the housekeeping staff were fantastic. Wi-Fi, safe, air con inclusive in price but we needed to pay €13 each person upon arrival which was for tax purposes I believe. We had a kettle in the room but no tea/ coffee, this would have been welcomed because drinking a coffee at sunrise would have been lovely. Non slip mats in the bath tub would have been welcomed too because it was quite slippery climbing into the bath to take a shower each day. We paid for breakfast each day, this was a mix. The hot food options were luke warm, bacon half cooked, greasy and generally tasteless but the pastries, fruit and fresh bread were delicious. The pool was well maintained and sun beds were readily available each day. Inflatable rings, lilos and balls were provided so this was a great addition to the pool. I would recommend this hotel and I do think it’s more 3 stars than 4 and I would take my family back there again, should I visit Zakynthos again.

We are currently here, enjoying our greek fat holiday at Karras hotel. Great food and friendly service in a reasonable price. Good localisation. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Currently they have good promotion on their website: if u book directly with them and u stay for 7 days they will pick u up ( and back ) from the airport. Grab the opportunity and enjoy ur holiday

I recently stayed at this hotel in Laganas, Zakynthos, for 15 days, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. If you're considering booking this place, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
Our terrible experience began the moment we arrived. We parked our car in front of the hotel entrance to unload our bags, thinking it was a reasonable spot. Within five minutes, someone from the reception—not the person checking us in—started yelling at us to move the car to the opposite parking lot. Not a great first impression.
Upon entering our room, it was clear that it hadn't been vacuumed in years. There were hairs everywhere, dust covering every surface, and the curtains were so dirty that touching them was out of the question. It felt like no one had cleaned the room in a very long time.
The breakfast room was the most horrifying place I've ever been in. Hospitals are luxurious in comparison. For 15 days, the same stale food was served, and I seriously doubt they replaced it daily. The waitstaff acted like they were being forced to be there, especially the blonde lady who didn't crack a smile in 15 days. She was always glued to her phone, and when I asked her for something as simple as sugar (which was missing for two days), she snorted and took ten minutes to bring it. Worse still, all the glasses and plates smelled like rotten eggs, making it impossible to enjoy the already unappetizing food. The low point was when we witnessed a waiter kicking a knife across the floor in front of guests—completely unacceptable.
Towels were only changed after repeated requests at the reception. Despite staying for 15 days, our sheets were only changed once after we complained. The shower was disgusting, with mold everywhere, and the water smelled so bad that it was unbearable to stand under it for the first ten minutes.
The cherry on top was the elderly lady at reception, who didn't even know which island we were on. When we asked her about the nearest beach within walking distance, she told us, "We don't go out at this time, it's too hot, and I don't know the city, so I can't help you." How can a 4-star hotel provide such an awful level of service?
I have no idea how this hotel has 4 stars. Even giving it 1 star feels generous. Do yourself a favor—keep your money and find somewhere else to stay. This place is a disaster.

The hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily.
The rest leaves much to be desired....
Food cold and monotonous.
During the whole trip (7 days) I had hot fries only twice, where they were served for lunch and dinner so twice a day. Fries alternated with baked potatoes.
Tables around the pool were not wiped. The all inclusive offer was limited to 5 drinks. Between 14.30-19 scheduled snacks was a cold toast from the fridge, for everything you had to ask the bartender. The fact is that although he did not regret the alcohol so that these up to 5 drinks were as they should.
