I spent a week here with my mate and had the best time! It’s super quiet, the room was lovely and cleaned daily and the pool is perfect for a refreshing swim. The location was absolutely brilliant as you are not close enough to the strip to hear all the noice and the carnage but you are close enough away for it to be only a 5 min walk. The owner was absolutely amazing being so helpful whenever we needed something and kindly let us stay after check out times as our flight was much later.

Stayed here with a group of 20 girls and couldn’t say a bad thing about this place! Cleaners were very kind and helpful and the security were very patient with such a large group. Pool was great during the day and had little noise complaints despite music and singing. Couldn’t recommend this place more for big groups amazing experience!!

Such a great place to stay!!! Absolutely enjoyed my 35th birthday holiday 🥰 Owner is very kind, friendly and lovely person, always look after everything and can help with anything. Location is very comfortable, all the restaurants and shops are very close. If you rent a car or scooter you can park it in the yard. Cleaner is coming in the afternoon time, so it's also nice, you don't need to rush things in the morning, can enjoy yourself as long as you want. All rooms are with pool view. Balcony is quite spacios and you can have privacy there. Got things like clothes dryer as well. If I would go to Zante again I would stay here again! 🫶

I went with a group of twenty and it couldn’t have been better. The pool area was beautiful and the rooms were great with a balcony and kitchen area in each one. The cleaner was amazing with every room cleaned everyday and the security and owners were always helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Stayed at Alterego studios with a group of 9 for a friends holiday. We picked this hotel due to the walkable distance to the strip (you can hear it from the pool) and the seemingly perfect reviews about the hotel, yet when we arrived it was clear that the owner Dennis was very strict, ruining our holiday. You are constantly watched at Alterego, with CCTV at every corner, a security guard at night and Dennis in the day it was very hard to relax. As we are young we were treated with no respect at all.
Another one of our friends was staying in a villa in Laganas, and came to our hotel to get ready one night. Obviously, we thought this wouldn't be a problem, yet Dennis came banging on our door demanding her name, and for her to "come into his office", threatening to call the police if she didn't leave. He forced his way into our room, in which one of our friends was not completely dressed at the time. This would be understandable if she was disrupting other guests yet this was not the case. It upset us all and made us feel unsafe in our own hotel, so much so we tried to find alternative accommodation. He is strict about the closing time of the pool (7 pm) and about noise levels, handing out yellow and red cards if you're too noisy. There is only one key per room which also caused problems when the group split up.
The rooms are very basic. There is one cupboard with limited hangers and no draws. This meant we had to live out of our cases the whole week we stayed there which wasn't ideal. The bathroom is tiny, the shower doesn't spay into the shower, yet directly onto the toilet. This means everything in the bathroom gets soaked when taking a shower - we had to take the toilet paper out every time. The air con was temperamental in our room which added to the discomfort.
Would not recommend due to how uncomfortable we were made to feel during our stay - rather stay in a bigger hotel in which we would feel safer.
