We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a week whilst in Santorini for a wedding. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for them. Little things like carrying our suitcases to our room, carrying shopping back after we'd been the shops, even telling us to ring them and they'd pick us up. This is a brilliant hotel, food was lovely and portion size was large. Breakfast was nice and fresh every day. Rooms are nice and big. They are cleaned and made up every day Location is great, it's not on the seafront of kamari, but is only 10 minute walk, maybe slightly longer on the return journey as it is up a bit of a hill. We stayed during the Thomas Cook collapse, despite this they never once treated us any different. They even helped us organise a taxi to the airport, keeping us updated as to what they knew and reminding us just to enjoy our stay. I would not hesitate to come to the Aegean View hotel again, and would recommend it to everyone.

Arrived late at night. George met us outside to help with the luggage. On check-in said we could have an upgrade free of charge to a suite with a jacuzzi. (524). For 2 days which was delightful. Room was big, four poster bed, settee, tv. Kitchenettes with 2 hob rings, fridge with a little ice box. Crockery & cutlery, aircon worked a treat. Bathroom was big, a small cubicle shower. Had a wonderful view of the Aegean sea & sunrise. Moved to our original room (506). Twin beds which I had asked for, same style furniture ect.. this time had a shower over a bath. Same wonderful view. Booked a couple of trips with Vangelis recommendations, tour of the island & a boat trip. The boat trip I highly recommend seeing the fishing village Thirasia was stunning. Vangelis dropped us off @ pick up points. Enjoyed the both 😍. Walked to the open air Cinema 25mins walk away. Straight road. Jumped the bus to Thira to see the sunset €180. Magical. Always greeted at Breakfast times with a smile. Breakfast was ample & lovely with picturesque views. Meals @ the pool was fairly priced & plentiful. Smoothies & cocktails @ the bar. Room was kept clean at all times fresh towels daily. Beach, plenty shops & restaurants 10mins away down hill. Glad to burn off some calories on the way up. 😀. Hotel has a family of cats/kittens which were spoilt for the week 🐈😍 Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely family. Even Grandma always had a smile & a wave. Thanks for a perfect holiday. I will definitely return, this time I shall book the suite & stay an extra couple of days 😎

We stayed here with our 11 y.o. and 13 y.o. kids and loved it. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. They gave us lots of help with advice on sightseeing, restaurants, etc. and even got us a rental car to explore the island. The hotel is located in the town of Kamari, which is much less crowded than the more touristy areas like Thera and Oia. It also has an actual beach for swimming, where Thera and Oia have only cliffs. The beach and lots of good restaurants are just a short walk from the hotel.

We stayed for a week at this lovely family run hotel in Kamari, Santorini 20-27th August 2019. On first arriving we were a little apprehensive as it isn’t like the large modern hotels we are used to and the rooms are a little dated and have a quaint rustic feel. But this is quickly put at ease when you settle in. You feel at home with the amazing family who run this hotel, they are so welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, given lifts to pickup points for excursions, giving sound advice for money saving travel routes and ideas of things to do around the island etc on top of excellent service inside the hotel. Our room was clean and had a fabulous view (507). Guests had breakfast around the pool every morning and being a reasonably small complex again gave it a personal feel. It is situated on a hill but not too steep. 5-10 mins walk to black sands Kamari beach filled with bars, restaurants and shops. We travelled the entire island from here. Bus to Fira €1.80 then onto Oia €1.80. A boat trip around volcano & swim in hot springs organised by Vangelis at the hotel €37. You can do these things very cheaply if you use public transport which is very efficient. Anyway we LOVED our time in Santorini which is such a beautiful island! We shall return one day ❤️

We have recently returned from the Aegean View and it more than lived up to our expectations. Our daughter chose this Hotel after reading all the fantastic reviews on it and hearing how friendly and helpful the Staff were, particularly as we had a 10 month old baby with us. All the amazing reviews were true, this Hotel is a lovely traditional Hotel and it is kept so very clean, another important factor when travelling with a baby. It is a family run Hotel and every member of staff were so kind, friendly and helpful they really do make it an enjoyable holiday for everyone. All the staff work very hard and thoroughly deserve all the praise they get. While it is a bit of a climb to it, it is only 5 minutes away from the town and so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle yet be near enough to walk to it. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone wishing to visit Kamari.
