Spent a wonderful fortnight at the Atalos Suites which is an idyll and perfect for relaxation and easy access to the beach the town and all the sightseeing trips. The effort and attention from Yannis and his family was superb, always clean and tidy rooms, prompt service at the bar and nothing was an effort for them. They made us feel like we were home from home with their kindness. There was no language barrier, lovely breakfasts and generous salads and drinks all extremely reasonably priced. Being able to relax by the pool in a more intimate and beautiful setting was such a treat. Can highly recommend here and we can’t wait to come back. Rachel and Charlotte September 2023

Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, decent linen and pillows, lovely pool not over-chlorinated, polite unobtrusive staff, relaxed atmosphere, quiet evening. The owner Gianni (supported by various family members) is s constant helpful presence. He is friendly and obliging with good restaurant recommendations. There’s a problem is the gentleman’s truly awful and indecipherable English - a handicap he seems blissfully unaware of! Respect! I recommend Atalos Suites as a place to sleep and return to for a swim and chill after long days out exploring other parts of the island in a hire car. Downsides: the airport is nearby and you will be aware of landing jets occasionally during the day. The included breakfast is pitiful with borderline coffee. From what I can tell this inadequate buffet is offered in order to meet a govt requirement rather than from a desire to show off culinary skills. However, the Greek yogurt provided is palatable- so buy some muesli and fruit and you got dejeuner sorted.…

A fantastically lovely family-owned hotel in Kamari. A hotel we have visited several times. Located in a quiet and pleasant area close to the beach and the fantastic beach promenade with all the fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and shops. This was our 6th visit to Atalos. It’s always great to see Gannis and his family. We met a couple who have actually stayed there more times than us !! I’ve recommended Atalos to some of our friends and they’ve all stayed multiple time. Infact a lot of his customers are repeat visitors. I think that speaks for itself. I have been going to Atalos Suites for many years now, the owner Giannis with his wife and daughter run a tight and professional Hotel, just 5 to 10 minutes from the sea front what do you want more?, But I have had an experience of a life time this time, my wife and I wished a room 35 not over looking the pool but a great room with sea breeze, well one night at around 8.45pm we spotted something strange in the sky, the next few days at around 5.30pm we spotted much more then we expected, one of the times a plane what about to land and got diverted, yes I am saying UFO's if you wake up at 5.00am go down to the beach and watch what happens, enjoy, I can tell more but I do not have enough space.

We have stayed at Atalos 5 times now. We always feel like we are going back home. Giannis always is very welcoming and looks after us. It has a lovely quiet location but just a very short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. I love the pool area at the hotel, it is never too busy and the pool is a really good size. We love the property so much we are coming back to stay for our wedding next year.

Returned home yesterday. Great stay. Great location 5/10 minutes from resort beach with all the many lovely tavernas. Very quiet which was great. Free breakfast and pool area never busy so very relaxing. Extremely helpful and friendly family run business. Daily cleaning and fresh towels to a high standard. Beach towels changed on request too. Stayed in a very large two bedroom room with two balconies! Two separate air conditioners, free safe, fridge, kettle and crockery too. Book. You won’t be disappointed!!

We arrived at Atalos Suites early September 2022. The owner/manager Yanni greeted us warmly and gave us a brief history of his family home-now the Atalos suites. Yanni was very informative and so helpful in getting us settled in. The hotel was well kept, clean and a perfect location….just a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning and lovely pool area. Each day, we were asked if we required anything else to make us more comfortable. One day, we asked for an additional blanket for the evening, and it was provided within an hour. On our departure day, Yanni presented us with a lovely momento of our trip. We highly recommend this lovely family hotel. 4 stars!

Another fantastic stay with Giannis and his lovely family. We were lucky enough to stay this hotel after reading the reviews 6 years ago and have stayed here every year since due to the friendliness, the quality of the service, perfect setting and not to mention the lovely welcome we recieve each year. Not only do we consider Giannis and his family as friends but we have been fortunate enough to build friendships with other couples who we manage to meet up with every year or two which is something we look forward to as we have shared nights out at places such as Santos Winery etc which makes the holiday for us. I can't say enough the friendliness of the hotel will make you stay again and again as many people do which speaks volumes. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly daily and the small pool bar is perfect for food and drinks, Giannis always makes sure my husbands favourite drink is there!! The pool is lovely with plenty of beds around but there is also a lovely terrace upstairs to sunbathe. Excellent place to stay thank you for a wonderful holiday again Giannis we will see you next year! …

This is a lovely little family run place, just a few minutes walk from the beach and main strip. Our room was comfortable and cool and always clean. Host Giannis was very friendly and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Santorini!
