Very rude & grumpy front desk staff with the (exception of Ana who even gave a good resto recom). Our rooms were not ready when we arrived. Beautiful sunset & sunrise view from our room but long steep walk/climb to get to the restos & the beach front. Wrong location if travelling with seniors & kids. Clean hotel but lacking basic amenities in the room (NO soap, vanity kit, water, kettle, coffee/tea). Bathroom space was not maximized, no area for our toiletries. Towels were rough. Bed was hard & squeaky. Breakfast was okay but could do better with choices & setting. This hotel can do a lot better, so many areas for improvement.

Christine at front of house trying to be friendly and helpful but grumpy Marie (probably owner) very sour faced and speaks in Greek about you in an aggressive manner. Wouldn’t recommend if you like smiley people during your hard earned break. Breakfast terrible - dark room, cold eggs etc. We went once. Never again !! Don’t do it

Where to start with the review...... At the beginning I suppose, so I will start by saying that something has definitely 100% changed since the previous reviews were left! We booked with Jet2holidays, landed at 11.30pm, by the time we transferred to the hotel it was 1am. Due to the location, there is a ten min walk from the drop off point to the hotel, which does include quite a steep hill. We were met at reception by a nice, polite, presentable gentleman, which given the time I wouldn't have been too annoyed if he was yawning or looked tired. We had to pay the hotel tax (€21 for the week) when we checked in. The young man took my GFs suitcase up to the room. We had booked a superior room with a sea view, which is at the top of the hotel, so probably another 3-4 flights of stairs. We asked if the fridge had any water, which it didn't, and he then went back to reception and brought a large bottle back to the room. It was a very large bedroom, with a tv (never used), working air conditioning, plenty of wardrobe space, two bedside tables, a large chest of drawers (3+2) - The bathroom had a whirlpool bath and a lovely powerful shower (combined). the balcony had a small table and two chairs. the entire place was spotless. Waking in the morning, the balcony held the most beautiful of views across the town and out to sea - if anyone is an early riser, the sunrise is a view to behold. Breakfast is served between 0800-1000hrs and has something for everyone, there was so much choice. cereals, toast, jams, croissants, bacon, eggs, omelettes, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, coffee machine, etc We booked B&B, mainly because we wanted to dine out, so I cannot comment on previous reviews about lunch or dinner, but we could not fault breakfast. The pool side was also spotless and we could see each morning that the cleaners were spraying and cleaning every single bed, etc before anyone came down to catch the rays. The pool itself is very clean, large and cold, so don't expect a heated pool. The pool side barman was very friendly and courteous, and you could pay for your drinks or have them charged to your room. He even threw in free snacks every now and again. in terms of location, it is right at the bottom of Kamari resort, so five mins back down the hill and you are straight into the beachside bars and restaurants. When we got back to our room, the cleaner had been in and again, it was completely spotless - all bins emptied, bedding changed, towels changed, ashtray emptied (sorry non smokers!) the reception area has a good selection of books you can borrow and read, which we did. suppose you are waiting for a but.... so here you go. The roads are narrow and so you will not be dropped at the hotel door by the coach. be prepared for a 5-10 min walk from the drop off point, which is mostly uphill and the road is not an even tarmac surface. so you will feel it by the time you reach the hotel. the lighting isn't the greatest on the road, but then again the whole island is the same, so personally I would dispel the 'unsafe' comments. Overall, we had no complaints, loved the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness and would return again. sorry for the longwinded review, prefer to give that than you not be sure. happy to help with any questions on points I may have missed.

Would not stay there again. Much nicer places to stay on the sea front. Had to change rooms as one given was not what we paid for & the shower curtain was smelly. Cleaning staff were nice. Steep enough hill to walk up so not suitable for anyone with Knee or Hip issues. The surrounding area where the hotel is located could do with a big clean up as the sight of a burnt out car at the back of the hotel is not inviting. Very poor lighting in the evening & not a place you would walk alone at night time.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel recently. We were there a week. There is one only negative and a pretty big one for us. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was because of the hot tub. WARNING: The hot tub is FREEZING, we couldn’t get into it even when the sun was hitting it! We were extremely disappointed. Apart from that we would recommend this hotel. I would choose a sea view without a hot tub and would book again! Rooms: Small but so clean (cleaned daily), small fridge and a great shower. The outside seating area was lovely too. Beds comfortable, pillows could be better. Location: Great location, although there is a small climb to the hotel it’s so close to shops, bars and the beach but quiet at night. Pool area: Nice and comfortable beds. Bar that has a snack and drink menu. Pool was freezing, perfect for cooling off in the heat. Breakfast: Had a good selection and everything we needed. Breads, yogurts, fruit, eggs, juices and pastries. Staff: Go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. As mentioned I would stay again, knowing not to expect a hot tub!!

Can’t really comment too much about the hotel as when we arrived at 11pm for our honeymoon we were told that there was a “technical problem “ with our room and that we were going to be moved to another hotel. We had paid for the suite with the private jacuzzi, so to be told on arrival that they didt have a room for us was very disappointing This wasn’t ideal as this was the hotel we had picked and were looking forward to stay in. The hotel they sent us to wasn’t too far away but still had to wait and be picked up by a taxi and when we got to the hotel it was bang average.

Firstly th e pictures are very different to reality! The pool is much smaller and reference made to ‘multiple pools’ on the website refers to a second pool which is very small and indoors but it wasn’t actually in use. There is a pool bar, however, while the menu seems decent they didn’t even have french fries or the burgers that were offered on the menu so basically there is very little available to eat so we always ate elsewhere. There is a restaurant but, while we had the free continental breakfast there (which was below average) we didn’t actually notice the restaurant open for dinner at all so again we always left the hotel for food as it offered us little or nothing food wise! The bar man at the pool bar was very rude - two of our friends asked for something for lunch to eat (there was little option besides a terrible toastie) and while we were told we had to go to main reception to pay for the food, when we went down there the receptionist couldn’t find any receipt for this food so she couldn’t take payment from us. We were hounded for payment for this meal (which was a small sum) for several days even though the bar man and receptionist said they couldn’t find the receipt so we had awful trouble trying to pay the bill - however we were hounded for this money and treated like criminals almost even though we had tried to pay many times. Then there was the rooms! Myself and my friend had a standard room which was grand. It was cheap so we got what we expected - only issue was the shower head wouldn’t attach to the wall and even though the receptionist knew about it, no one ever bothered to attempt to fix it but even at that it was okay for what it cost us. My friends room however was labelled a ‘superior room’ and cost a substantial amount more then the standard room. The word ‘superior’ is laughable for the money they spent! Only difference between the standard and the ‘superior’ room they got is that they could see the pool slightly at a push over the balcony, besides that, all they could see what a wall. The ‘superior’ room promised a pull out bed - that was invisible! So basically there was little to no difference between the standard and ‘superior’ room besides the crazy money they charge people for it! We did ask could they do anything and change the superior room my friends were given to a better room explaining how much they had paid for it and how disappointed they were but the staff were rude and unhelpful and management chose to ignore us while the receptionist, who had no interest in offering any sort of compromise, told us she could do nothing for us. The only option she was willing to give was a jacuzzi room in their sister hotel across the road for an additional €150 per night on top of the crazy price my friends already paid which was obviously not acceptable or a viable option! The sister hotel was supposedly meant to be fancier.. again they’re comedians- we went to look at it and it looked deserted and a two star! So we walked away upset and feeling completely under values as a customer! I would never return to this hotel and would advise everyone to avoid it - the staff are unhelpful and rude, the hotel looks nothing like it’s pictures but charges an arm and a leg and there is no way in gods earth it’s a 4 star hotel! I wouldn’t even give it a one star. The bar man couldn’t even find enough glasses for prosecco for customers - how ridiculous! Oh and the ‘spa’ .. it’s not a spa! Just a person who comes in and offers four or five different types of massages but I never even seen anyone use the spa! Basically go elsewhere and look at the other actual ‘four star’ hotels and resorts around Santorini because this is a sad excuse for a hotel altogether! Please everyone go somewhere else and don’t be fooled by their website! Thank god Santorini was beautiful and made up for the accomodation!

Small and very clean hotel at one end of beach, 200m up a steep hill. Fabulous views of the sea, from our room at the top, especially Sunrise over the island. Room with Aircon and powerful shower, fridge and very comfortable 4 poster bed. Did struggle up the 80 steps to our room after a few drinks, so not really for those with walking difficulties, as no lift. Breakfast was fine, mostly continental style, with some cooked foods, (not that hot though) lots of variety, can eat on the terrace as well. (They have Mugs as well, not stupid little cups) Swimming pool nice and clean with good sun beds, also indoor small type splash pool. Pool bar a bit hit and miss, often didn’t have food on menu, and barman ok with drinks, but sometimes struggled with cooking snacks! We spent most of the time at the beach, with 100’s of decent bars and restaurants. It’s maybe 10 minutes walk down (20 mins walk back up for us) so not around the pool much. They will provide pool towels for €2 if you don’t want to bring them. Absolutely brilliant Receptionists here! I can’t speak highly enough of them. The 2 girls are really friendly and helpful. The actually really care about there guests, and the whole holiday experience. Just a note of warning please check your transfer is in a car or mini-bus and not a Coach as it can’t get to the hotel and you’ll end up dragging your cases up the hill. Overall great little hotel, very clean and comfortable, friendly receptionists and great views from the sea view rooms.

We recently stayed at this hotel. Disappointed is an understatement. The internet was none existent in the room. I requested vegan options several times which was just ignored so I either got fruit for breakfast or had nothing. I asked for almond milk so I could at least have a coffee but again this wasn't done. Theres a small fridge in the room but no kettle so I couldn't even make one for myself. Damp sheets were put on the bed when house keeping was done. Some of the staff are very rude and dismissive. The only saving grace was the lovely bar tender and the young lady who worked reception in the evening. Its been a long lockdown and I was really looking forward to getting away but left feeling very dissatisfied. I wouldn't ever stay in this hotel again as at times it feels more like a hostel and not a 4 star hotel.

Fresh and tasty breakfast. Nice view on sunrise from the room. My wish/need for frontal view on the sea has been considered. Very helpful staff who helped with quad reservation. I recommend this hotel. Silent and close to the beach and restaurants.
