We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The breakfasts were good, it was close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bus stop. The rooms are a little small but clean. It was the staff that really was great. Nichole, George and George were really helpful. We ended up staying longer than we anticipated because the ferry could not leave due to rough seas. The staff was able to pull some strings and getting us a room for two more nights. Thank you.
The hotel was centrally located, clean and well priced. What let it down were staff members on reception. They were disinterested at best and rude/unfriendly at worst. Very rarely even looked at you as you walked past the counter, let alone said hello or asked about your day. Such a shame, as everything else was good. Good manners and feeling welcome are very important, George and others could use a customer service course.
Unfortunately me and my wife experienced a very bad and unprofessional behavior from one of the staff members, when I park the rental car in the small parking area they have, this young men yell at me in front of my wife to move the car out, that was only for staff members but in the manner you never talk to customers. From that moment he ruined my stay in this place but what you can do is just get over it! they are young, disrespectful and unprofessional. Never wish this happens to no body.
So this is not a £1000 a night Santorini hotel, but is excellent in what it does Extremely friendly, extremely clean , excellent location, great staff if you want to experience Santorini at a reasonable cost, just book here - I will if i return to the island Thankyou
Friendly, clean family run hotel. Typically Greek with simple rooms. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good and varied with lots of choices. Coffee machine available 24 hours. Small swimming pool with sunbeds and a small bar open 10 til late. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Centrally based in Kamari, 5 minutes walk to beaches.
Great location, nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was cleaned every day. Pool furniture is dated and there was a problem with a drain that meant there were a lot of flies, hopefully this issue can be rectified quickly. Good bars and restaurants right next to the hotel.

Small rooms, spotty wifi, and bad customer service. It was booked through our travel agent and this was nowhere up to par compared to our other hotels. No safe in the room. My friend had to sit and wait for her room while the staff had a team meeting and pulled the housekeeper cleaning her room.
we booked Kamari as a cheaper place to stay, and the Acqua Vatos delivered on so many levels, a great hotel, with great staff, excellent location, and on the flat near to the Promenade (strip) plenty of Restaurants and bars and shops, great location for seeing the rest of the island, and trips to Fira and Oia, WHEN we come again, we will definately look to stay here, fully recommended, if you want to pay more and stay in fira or Oia, then please visit Kamari, you will see a different side to the island. we took the bus to Fira 1.60Euro, watched Jurrasic World in English at kamari Open air cinema, took a boat trip on King Thrissa (Kamari Tours) saw sunset in Oia, Sunrise in Kamari, visited Akrotiri, Perissa Beach by water taxi, or you could pay more to stay in Oia and miss a lot of what Santorini has to offer.…
Thomas cook , or should I say Thomas crook ! Has described this as a great little hotel . 2 mins from the beach . It has failed to disclose that it’s on the main road , with coaches , lorries , etc , passing by every two mins . It’s like the hard shoulder . It’s still stuck in the the 1950s . The swimming pool area is covered with trees and shaded taking away a third of capacity of sun beds . Only 10 sets left in the sunny areas , people were been turned away as not enough , plus the outdated umbrellas were bolted to the ground so no room for manoeuvre. The fridge in the room toon nearly 24 hours to get a decent temperature , the whole bathroom floor gets flooded when you have shower as there is no shower door . The reception staff are about 14 years old and have no clue about communication . Oh and surprise surprise we’ve been here 5 days and haven’t seen a Thomas crook yep yet 🤷♂️ Apart from that all good x…
