10 Minutes walk away from the hustle & bustle of Kamari Beach, Horizon Resort on Santorini island, features an outdoor Swimming pool surrounded by Tropical gardens as well as free Wi-Fi in the entire premises of the Hotel. At the exterior designed sitting area is served daily a la carte menu breakfast from 08:00 am to 10:00 am. During the day guests can order light meals, snacks and drinks from the pool bar The Superior rooms which are located on the top floor, have side sea view and panoramic mountain view. The Standard rooms which are located on the middle floor, have mountain view. All our rooms have been refurnished with new furniture & comfortable beds. The bus stop & an A.T.M is 100 metres away from the resort and the open air cinema is just around the corner. We organise boat excursions, semi private catamaran excursions, car and quad rental.

Had a lovely stay at Horizon resort for three nights. Reasonably priced with comfortable room. The pool was brilliant- nice temperature, quiet and very deep! Towels for the pool were provided free of charge at reception. Situated one kilometre walk from the promenade which was perfect for us.

We stayed at George's family run hotel for 7 nights. We have a really good deal direct to the Hotel and were extremely pleased with our stay and the resort. It is small and friendly, quiet and extremely chilled, the rooms are usual Grecian style and spacious with a balcony and excellent views. The pool was not busy and it is less than five minutes to the shops and restaurants in Kamari and 10 minutes to the beach. Breakfast is served every morning, plentiful and reasonable choice and can taken outside, usually with the family chicken helping with the remains of toast and cake A special mention must go Sandy, the cleaner. The rooms were cleaned immaculately every day, towels were changed every morning and everything was put away Will definitely stay here again Andy, Z, Warren and Laura…

We absolutely loved our stay here in September! The location is brilliant about 5 min to a bus stop that takes you to Thira and 10mins walk to the beach. The resort itself is lovely with a brilliant pool that gets very deep. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was very nice and tasty and the service from George and his whole family was fantastic.

I have just returned today after 3 nights at this hotel. I don’t normally write reviews but felt it would be unfair not to. George (the hotel owner) was a fantastic host. Nothing ever a problem. I was staying here on my own for a family wedding and he had no problem with a few members of my family coming round on one of the days to use the pool. The food and drink around the pool was really nice. George sorted taxis out for us whenever we needed them, I’d not brought a towel for the pool and he sorted it. NOTHING was a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in kamari. Beach and all the tavernas/bars about a 10 min walk. Great stay. Thank you George.

This is a small family run hotel with a lovely pool. George and his family are welcoming and friendly. George can arrange trips, taxis, hire cars etc. The rooms are cleaned daily and have a ceiling fan as well as aircon. There's a safe, fridge, kettle and hospitality tray in the room. Snacks and drinks are served at the pool bar. We liked the Horizon club sandwich; perfect to share with an ice cold Mythos. You must try the homemade jams/marmalades at breakfast. They were delicious. Some days we chilled out on the comfortable sun beds by the pool and other days, we strolled down to beach for a walk and lunch. The nearest supermarket and taverna is a 5 minute walk. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and a huge selection of restaurants and bars. We liked to sit on the balcony in late afternoon whilst enjoying tea and cake from the amazing nearby bakery. We would definitely stay here again if we went back to Kamari.…

Although we only stayed for a couple of nights, as we were passing through, arriving by plane and leaving to other Islands by ferry, we totally enjoyed our stay. Perfectly positioned for such a purpose but equally for a longer stay by the beach on this wonderful island. If I hadn't stayed on the island before, clearly I would have stayed longer. Super clean with comfortable beds, quiet effective aircon. Wonderful spacious grounds with lovely pool, just a short stroll to the beach, lined with it's large array of restaurants, tavernas and bars. Breakfast was just perfect to start the day, eating inside or out. Final word is thanks to the whole family for their friendly and wonderful experience, thank you.

I have recently returned from my third holiday at Horizon Resort and as expected, have came home wishing I was still there! George and his family go above and beyond to ensure that all guests are made to feel welcome and comfortable during their stays. The hotel itself is kept beautifully clean and has everything you desire whilst away from home. A brilliant location being only a 15 minute drive from Thira airport and the lovely open air cinema just a 5 minute walk up the road. This has become quite the family tradition for us to visit Horizon and to see George and his beautiful family each year. We are already looking at when we can return in 2020! If you are looking for a place to stay in Kamari and come across this resort, look no further as you have found the perfect place! See you next year George!…

Second time coming to stay at horizon and I have felt so welcomed by George and his lovely family. From the location of the resort, the beautiful poolside,the fantastic mountain views, the immaculately clean hotel, lovely continental breakfast and even down to the genuine friendliness from the family it’s a pleasure to stay there. An amazing place to stay for pure relaxation and just a 10 minute walk to Kamari centre where you will find an array of shops bars and restaurants- also George always gives the best recommendations for dinner! I could not recommend this beautiful place highly enough. A fantastically family run hotel, they always go above and beyond for any of your needs!

This was my second visit to Horizon Resort, previously I gave it 5 stars and by all accounts I'd give it 10 now if I could. Horizon Resort is an incredibly well ran hotel thanks to the immense hard work George and his family put into making sure everyone's experience is the best it can be. Whether it's the immaculate cleanliness of the rooms, the picturesque condition of the pool or just the friendly atmosphere provided by all the family, Horizon Resort puts comfort first and it really pays off. Being just a short walk from Kamari beach I the valued the freedom of wandering into town, staying by the pool and the fully stocked bar, or asking George to book me a taxi to many of the beautiful places in Santorini (which he always found time to do immediately). Finally, I couldn't write this review without mentioning the incredible measures George and his family went to ensure I had an amazing 28th birthday this September. I will never forget my authentic Greek dinner surrounded by family and friends filled with laughter and drink all to the backdrop of the beautiful poolside. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough, a must stay location if you're even considering visiting Santorini!…

Our annual visit to this fab hotel didn't disappoint, we were greeted as usual very warmly by George and his lovely family. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There is a lovely pool area with a poolside bar serving drinks and excellent snacks which George runs himself. The hotel is approx 10-15 stroll into Kamari where you will find plenty of places to eat and drink. One last thing book with the hotel direct for the best prices.
