A lovely hotel situated on a quiet pedestrianised shopping street just 5 minutes walk from the beach, bars & restaurants. Martha, the owner greets everyone with a friendly ‘kalimera’ every morning at breakfast, which was an impressive self service buffet that has something for everyone with seating outside by the pool. Whenever we wanted to use the pool we were always able to get a sun bed. There is also a roof terrace with more sun beds for those that like the full sun. The rooms are very nicely decorated and kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team. Some have pool views but ours (#313) overlooked the street which was great for people watching from the balcony. Beach - if you like to use the beach, head to the ‘love boat bar’ where you can use the sun beds free of charge. It’s customary to buy a few drinks (and lunch if you want it) from the bar which is run by a lovely guy who brings the drinks right to your sun bed. He’s very relaxed and not pushy at all. Restaurants - if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the water front try Elias Grill (great for gyros and souvlaki and we had a delicious moussaka) and Pinakio (for traditional Greek meze)…
Location - Perfect location for stopping in Santorini. Bus stop is 2 mins around the corner (by a shop called quickies) and this will take you to Fira which is also where all the buses run from to other parts of the island like Oia (most tickets are only €1.60 each way). The beach is 2 mins walk - we were able to see if from our room. The beach front is full of lots of bars and restaurants. Pool - Spotlessly clean. Although its a small hotel we didn’t really struggle for sunbeds as there is a pool area and also a sunroof - very quiet around the pool area. There is a bar you can get snacks and drinks from. Room - We had room 310 which overlooks the street, at first we were worried it would be loud but it wasn’t at all, it’s a very quiet street and once the doors are closed you are unable to hear anything - it was actually quite nice to people watch. Room and hotel was spotless, strong shower and hairdryer in the room and small fridge. Breakfast- Lovely Continental breakfast was available, lots a jams, egg (fried or scrambled depending on day), cheeses, cakes, cereal etc. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if we came back to Santorini :) the staff were all lovely and friendly and we were able to keep our room till until 2.30pm for a small charge as we had late flights - and again perfect location.…
Wow wow and double wow! This was a fabulous hotel, everything was just perfect. The location was brilliant and right in the centre of Kamari, literally one minute from the beach front. The staff were lovely, the attention to detail they all had was astounding. I will definitely return and highly recommend to people to visit here.
Wow. As simple as that! My wife and I have just come back for a week in Santorini and we stayed at this hotel in Kamari. A beautiful, clean and well run hotel by the lovely Martha and her lovely ladies (Faye and the lovely ice-producing lady!) as well as the cleaners and breakfast staff. The hotel is a credit to Kamari, Santorini and Greece as a whole and we would recommend anyone to stay. Thank you ladies, love Steve & Helen x
The hotel was clean, comfortable, great staff, included breakfast, fast wifi, a nice pool and sun beds. Water available to buy for cheap and a bar for cocktails, smoothies and beer to drink around the pool. Paradise
A lovely hotel in a great location in Kamari. Spotlessly clean, lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Best of all is Martha and her team who are so welcoming and can’t do enough for you. They helped us with car rental, tourist advice, taxis and looked after my elderly mum and auntie. We will definitely be returning.
We had really relaxing early season stay at Santellini. Following COVID lockdown we had concerns about travelling but these disappeared upon check-in! The owner, Martha, is a great hostess and all the staff were ultra kind and helpful. The hotel was spotless throughout. We returned refreshed after a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.
Martha the owner of the Santellini hotel has her heart and soul there, breakfast nice and fresh and lots of Martha’s own home cooked treats, clean friendly and a great location in the heart of Kamari. Nothing is too much troubles enjoyable and relaxing stay.
Stayed for 7 nights 17th May Lovely family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Close to beach, bars and restaurants yet really quiet when you close balcony doors at night. Our room overlooked the pedestrian street it was nice to sit on balcony and people watch. Santorini is beautiful would I go back definitely and always to this hotel
I cannot recommend this little gem of a hotel enough. It’s is one the cleanest, friendliest places we have ever stayed at. The owner Martha is there everyone morning to welcome you at breakfast which is absolutely delicious. Then you have the lovely faye who is on at reception and she can help you with anything! They learn and remember everyone’s names which is so comforting. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. Pool and poolside is immaculate which offers healthy smoothies, soft drinks and cocktails and club sandwiches/pizza at a reasonable price! Transfers from the hotel to the airport can be arranged and we were greeted by another lovely lady! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It’s perfect location also. You have anything and everything right on your doorstep. I would recommend beach-shoes as it’s very hot on the stones and slippery. I cannot wait to visit back here again in the future! Thank you Santellini Hotel for a wonderful stay!…
