We stayed at the Boathouse Kamari in the first week in October. This is a great hotel. The room we had was clean, large, and very comfortable. The bathroom had been recently renovated and had a fantastic shower. It was really good of the hotel to invest in decent sized fridge

We loved it here. The rooms are large. The breakfast is great. The location is the best, right on the promenade. There is a pool with loungers and pool towels. The owners are brilliant. We will be going back.

A friend and I stayed for 2 nights. This family owned hotel sits on the beach in Kamari. The owners are welcoming. The place is immaculate and the views are spectacular. Located on the quieter part of the island there are still tons of shops and restaurants there. Easy transporta

Overall the hotel is nice, and it's definitely affordable comparing to other possibilities in the island. On the good side we can say that the location of the hotel is great, rooms are clean, and most of the staff were nice and friendly. However, we chose to give it 3 stars and n

Hello Tomer, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, we do need to let readers know the full story though. You and we know about our many emails (starting 2.5 months before your stay) with you asking for an upgrade and us replying that unfortunately we were totally full and that the room (The Garden Suite - or Economy Non-Sea view Adjoining Rooms) that you did book was our last available and that it was better suited to a Family of 5... not for 2 guests on their Honeymoon..... but even with 2 months notice of this you decided to keep your booking with our Garden Suite. We did make a King Size bed for you in one of the rooms but any other upgrade was impossible for your dates. The Honeymoon Suite was available in the middle of your stay for 2 nights (due to a last minute cancellation) and before it got booked up you were quoted by the day reception that the cost to upgrade would be 60 Euros per night. That was based upon the fact that your room rate (less the 22 % commission to the 3rd Party Website that you booked through) was actually only 100 Euros to us and our Honeymoon Suite on our website for your dates is 160 Euros per night..... so I understand that you were unhappy that our better rooms were not available (as you let me know before your arrival by many emails) but the quote of 60 Euros more for the upgrade was correct. Regarding our Garden Suite, these 2 Non-Sea view adjoining rooms are at a lower rate for 5 guests (you paid this amount even though you were only 2.... ?) as these 2 bathrooms are our last to renovate and they are to be renovated this winter and then all of our bathrooms will be renovated - just as you stated these are the last. By next summer our Garden Suite will actually become our most superior room and therefore the rate will go up considerably as we plan on not only renovating the bathroom and rooms but also we plan to redo the Garden Area that it looks over with a private Jacuzzi as well. So thank you for bringing attention to The Garden Suite giving us the opportunity to let Trip Advisor Readers and potential new Boathouse guests know about our plans for it's transformation. Sincerely, Spyros and Diane Zorzos

Hi how much is pick up and return from airport thank you
If you book your room through boathousehotelcom then the airport pick up is included. If you book through a 3rd party website the airport pick up is 20 Euros total for up to 4 passengers. We do not offer port pick ups. Departure transfers cost 15 Euros total to the port and 20 Euros total to the port.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers so a quad room wouldn’t really suit. I noticed in one of the pictures that there is a room with a mezzanine level though which would work. Or are there any other options. Happy to consider 2 rooms if necessary. Thanks
Our largest rooms at The Boathouse are our Garden Suite (sleeps 4 in 2 adjoining Non-Sea view Rooms) and our Family Quad Room (sleeps 4 in 1 double bed and 2 single beds). So for a family of 6 it would be best to book either of these and a Double Room as well. The Boathouse Team

Hi I'm heading to Santorinì the beginning of October and staying at the Boathouse with my partner. I really want to do a sunset dinner cruise not many people on the boat and very relaxing Could you recommend one and would it be better to book it before I go or to wait until I get there
Evie at the boathouse is the person to talk to. It shouldn't be a problem in October but you can always email the hotel directly for more information. They're also full of info for other things to do as well. Enjoy your stay.... I keep going back!!!

Hi there! How far in advance can you book? I've noticed that there aren't any dates available after October of this year. Thanks so much
Email us at boathouse@otenet.gr for bookings for 2018.

Does this hotel have a fitness centre or small gym with thread mills? Thanks
Hi Wendy, No we do not have a gym, I think some of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Kamari do have smaller gyms but for a proper sized gym the closest is in Messaria. DMZ
