Kamari Beach Hotel was a great place to stay in Santorini. It's at what is called the "black beach". You need to take a bus or rent a car to get to the cities but it's not a hard trip. We went to Fira twice during our 4 days. The hotel is not on the sunset side of the island... More

I was going to rate it average as I think we got what we paid for and it did everything it said on the tin but not too much more. It's central location and super friendly staff have bumped it up. The rooms are spartan and basic but they are spotless and the daily housekeeping were excellent . The wooden... More

Ok, so Santorini was amazing, but we made ONE mistake, we did not stay at KAMARI BEACH HOTEL. There was 30 of us split across a few hotels for a wedding, and we took it in turns to go to each other Hotel for the day to drinks, relax etc. We all went to visit our friends at Kamari beach... More

Super location! Next to main promenad, near the sea- Totaly worth every penny! Staff was very helpful, room was always clean. I was very pleased that we didn't choose the sunny side of the hotel, because that way we could enjoy nice weather on the balcony during the day, otherwise it would be too hot! Of course on sunny side... More

Stayed here at the end of August for 6 nights. We had a great stay, the rooms are basic and in need of modification but clean and peaceful. The bathrooms really need updating as there is no shower fixture on the wall so you had to hold it in your hand to wash. The pool area is large and gets... More

Just got back from 10 days at the kamari beach. Fantastic time had. Resort fantastic with everything close to hand including the pool beach and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Rooms great for Greece. Breakfast an added bonus and very varied. Fira is a must. Will be back. Thanks to all staff there.

I was a bit anxious after reading some of the negative reviews on tripadvisor, but there was no need to be worried we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel has a terrific location right in the middle of the promenade straight across from the beach. Our room was fairly basic, double bed, 2 bedside tables, luggage rack, mirror with small... I had a third floor room with a fantastic double balcony overlooking the Aegean. Stony beach but lovely to hear the waves crash on the beach as you sleep. No lift so a bit of a challenge for the more elderly. Wholly agree with GaryB's review; generally lovely staff but absolutely the most appalling breakfasts I've encountered. Eat out!

Hotel is clean and the staff are all helpful and cheerful. Without doubt though the breakfast is the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. I had to take my own fresh fruit and add their yoghourt to have something edible. The fresh bread and cheese was nice though. Cooked food was a no no.
