Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed here for our belated honeymoon for 2 weeks. The hotel room was spotless and got cleaned daily with all toiletries stocked up , we opted to have a junior suite with a jacuzzi balcony which was a nice touch. You do need to ask reception to turn it on though, so something to be aware of. The breakfast was okay, very repetitive after 2 weeks but even as quite a fussy eater, I had a full plate each day!
The location of the hotel was great, only a couple of minutes walk into Kamari, where there are loads of places to eat. There are two pools, the smaller pool was very quiet during our stay, often it was only us sat there which was lovely! Luckily sunbed hoggers are not tolerated, as the hotel provides you with pool towels, if people leave theirs on a sunbed and go off for the day, the barmen remove them so they are free for people to use.
The staff were some of the friendliest staff I have ever witnessed, they were all very happy, upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lad who immediately made us feel very welcome. All the young girls on reception were lovely and friendly, as well as the barmen too!
The only negatives I have are the pool as you come into the hotel, looks very tired and looks almost dirty, so I refused to go in there, but the other pool outside reception is lovely so really didn’t affect our stay.
Santorini is a beautiful place, Oia is well worth a trip and is very cheap on the bus, €1.60 a person one way, but make sure you go super early, we went mid morning and it was so busy, we struggled to walk around and see anything. We went on a boat cruise another day, which took us to a volcano, hot springs, another island and an Oia sunset. This was by far the worst day of our trip, we bailed out as soon as we got back to the island and got a bus back to the hotel as it was awful! A rammed boat of people, with stupidly long stop offs, the island we visited was very very small and we were left there for 2.5 hours, all good places were impossible to get in (due to other boat tours being there) so we had a gyros from a stand, that was disgusting, but no other food choice. I’d advise if you want to go on a boat tour, pay more if possible and it will be a better experience!
Overall, I recommend Cavo Bianco, it allowed us 2 weeks to fully unwind and enjoy being together!

Cavo Bianco was one of the nicest hotel experience my eife and I have ever had. We were moved with the help of Anna Marie from a mix up in Fera to this lovely hotel with two small but adequate pools. The staff were magnificent from Maria on reception to Oxama on housekeeping. The kitchen food was great from Pizza to baguette or salads. The bar with Sonny and T2oliano was well stocked and priced xame as downtown 5.5 euros for large beer. Demy Anna and Deppy were great in the spa and can testify to Anna's strong fingers on the aromatherapy massage. The hotel is in a great location and ate in most of the restaurants on the short hill down to the sea with special mention to the taverna next door and Alexander's towards the bottom of the hill. A wonderful holiday. A trip on the bus to Fira was well worthwhile at €1.60 each way. The ferry to Perissa from the beach at €7 each way was a great trip. We also did a 5 hour trip on the catamaran which might have been a bit long but the crew were great food was good and history informative. I think we may well be back.

Myself husband and children aged 12 and 19 had the most amazing relaxing stay end of August in the lovely Cavo Bianco boutique hotel...it was like a home from home with exceptionally friendly staff and service ...from Marias warm welcoming smile from moment of arrival and all throughout the week to Babos every night at the bar waiting to make his perfect cocktails!
Breakfast was healthy and a good choice , rooms (we had two) are clean very well kept modern with nice balconies and its the perfect location being only 5 mins walk max to the beach with a huge array of restaurants yet being set away from the beach so more private and quieter at night! 2 lovely swimming pools with fresh towels every day!
We even made friends with Olga the cat the hotel resident pet!
And the massages were great too - the whole downstairs is a hidden gem with treatment rooms quite spacious and very relaxing!
We will definitely be back we totally loved it nd it ticked every box for us

Had a fantastic short stay at the Cavo Bianco hotel in Kamari, Santorini. Secluded by a white stone wall you step through the grey slated gates into the epitome of a boutique hotel, with a fantastic cool ambience. The staff were all welcoming, pleasant and helpful, the rooms, were large, well appointed with large smart TV, and great AC, ultra clean, we had a junior suite with a fantastic jacuzzi on the balcony as well. Breakfasts had a great variety of good quality hot and cold food. There were 2 small pools, with a pool bar at one of them. The added bonus of this hotel is the location, step outside and across the road is the bus stop to Thira, (15 min journey), Take a 2 to 3minute stroll to the beach and you pass a supermarket, several restaurants, a bakery, car hire, souvenir shops, ice cream, everything you would need for a stay. Once you get to the beach, the pedestrian road along the beach must have 20 to 30 restaurants to choose from. Kamari, is on the other side of the island to Thira and Oia, and 10 minutes from the airport by taxi. It is a typical Santorinian village, It is does not have the picturesque cliff edge architecture that Thira & Oia have, but it also does not have the thousands of cruise ship passengers walking around or the expensive shops and restaurants catering for them. The nice thing about staying in Kamari, was its accessibility to everything as well as the relative peace and quiet. We took buses everywhere, and it was a 15 minute journey to Thira and a further 15 minute journey to Oia at the top of the island, all for the princely sum of 3.2 euros each.

Having a lovely week here and being really well looked after by the genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Bobbi the bartender is fun but not intrusive and makes the best cocktails. Olga on breakfast is so kind and so helpful and helpful every single one of the reception staff can not do enough. Had a really great massage very knowledgable and helpful staff thanks Maria. The hotel is lovely modern Greek style all white and not so big so you feel comfortable and welcome. The facilities though could do with some improvements, the spa area in the basement has rather strange and shabby bamboo roof and the shower has no door and could do with a new floor, very rough and unfinished. My room is nice but in a 5 star I would expect a separate shower and bath having to climb into a bath for a shower in a hotel with these prices is something I have never seen before. Place is spotless but if you call yourself a 5 star and charge those prices then it is all about attention to detail and this is lacking. Fresh not pasteurised orange juice at breakfast would be better for example , homemade Greek pies and food generally v good. Having feather pillow (option) and good quality sheets and bath robe in all the rooms would normally be expected in 5 star facilities I would say the facilities are 4 star not 5 unless these aspects are addressed.

The hotel is spacious, clean and well maintained. The location is a well positioned to be on the beach within a couple of minutes and a maximum 5 minutes from the main centre of Kamari. The bus to Fira passes by the hotel (though where Greek buses stop appears to change on a daily basis :) ) which is a cheap and convenient way to explore the island.
The breakfasts had a good hot/cold buffet selection with indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is available all day and well into the evening with prices to match the area.
The staff were super friendly and helpful with advice for local events and for booking airport transfers and wine tours.

We booked this hotel partly based on the generally good reviews, however I'm not sure why, but there are a number of clear and obvious areas where this hotel falls below 5 star standards that guests are simply failing to mention.
Firstly the positives, yes the service is excellent and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotesly clean and are cleaned daily. The location is excellent for buses, shops, numerous restaurants and the beach. Even on our last day, due to the fact we had an evening flight, the staff provided us with a new (and I d
upgraded) room for the day free of charge.
Now for the negatives which as I stated earlier, I really don't understand why these are seldom mentioned in the reviews. Peaceful and tranquil is something this hotel is definitely not. Our ground floor room overlooked the front pool, road and some ugly buildings opposite including apartments where people could look directly down on to your room etc,so no privacy. The front pool is next to the road into Kamari with frequent buses and coaches pulling up and other regular traffic. Most of the bottom front pool itself was covered in something dark and blotchy and very slippery especially when entering from the shallow end. The other pool is located at the side of the property, whilst away from the road, also has some other health and safety issues, notably no safety bar to hold on to step in and out. You have to get on your knees on to the hard concrete. I'm an agile and fit 60 year old, but for someone disabled and/or less able than myself, they would potentially find it very difficult to get in or out. All in all, both pools are a safety hazard and there is an accident waiting to happen. I did mention to staff my concerns and was told that they would make management aware.
Unfortunately the pool at the side had constant modern Euro music playing at a loud volume, we did ask them to turn it down on a couple of occasions but it was soon turned up loud again, it was relentless. This music might appeal to the young generation, but does not cater for all generations and in any case it would have been nice to have it quite which it definitely wasn't.
Lastly, the breakfast didn't in my view live up to a 5 star, for example, the coffee was horrible which you just poured from a large container, no perculated or choice. Limited fresh fruit and some tined fruit provided.

We stayed at Cava Bianco for 9 nights in July 22. The hotel is in a great location, only 15 mins from the airport, 7 mins walk from the beach which is lined with a huge choice of restaurants and a few minutes from a supermarket.
It’s was very peaceful and clean throughout. We stayed in room 215 which was a pool room. It was a great size with a mezzanine floor, felt super spacious for a family of 4. Plenty of wardrobe space, a bathroom with separate shower, toilet and sink downstairs and a WC on the mezzanine floor.
Lovely buffet breakfast available, hot and cold options so plenty of choice.
Staff were friendly, Olga in particular made an effort to always say hello and speak to the kids at breakfast.
Spa was gorgeous, we all had a very relaxing massage.
The beach was nice but was pebbly so we were glad we took our coral shoes.
You do have to pay for the longest on the beach, each hotel/restaurant has a charge for the loungers in front of their establishment. We paid 50 euro for 2 loungers outside The Navy, you can the use this towards food and drink at the restaurant though.
Make sure you try the Cretan bakery on the way to the beach, sweet treats were amazing.
The only negatives were that the hotel is right on a fork on the road, quite dangerous when you have younger kids as pavements are non existent. The WC on the mezzanine floor didn’t have a door so not comfortable to use, the shower was leaking so we couldn’t use it in the bathroom. Luckily, the bath had an overhead shower that we used. Nowhere to hang towels.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Just returned from 10 wonderful days at Cavo Bianco Hotel & Spa ! From arrival to departure we were made feel so special by the genuinely friendly and helpful team.
We had room 113 with a pool view , the room was bright and spacious and had all expected amenities, refreshed every day. The breakfast was plentiful and had plenty of hot and cold choices.
Katherine and Maria on reception are wonderful and were extremely helpful from transfers to restaurant recommendations and beyond and always had a simile and greeting when passing. Olga is a ray of sunshine at breakfast !
Babis really does make the best cocktails and is good for a chat.
We had a Spa experience with the lovely Maria, I even fell asleep it was so relaxing.
If I return to Santorini , which I intend to, I will definitely return to Cavo Bianco to see these lovely people again
The location , just a couple of minutes to the beach is perfect with a mountain view to the south or our 'Rock' as we called it. This is the location of the site of Ancient Thera which is accessible by bus, scooter etc. or on foot (50 mins uphill but views are worth it)
The beach is black sand and stony at sea, DO bring/get sea shoes for swimming and the water gets deep quickly but excellent for swimming.
Plenty of choice for food along the seafront tried lots of different places but Alismari or King for dinner and Prince for after dinner drinks would be first to mind.

We loved our stay at Cavo Bianco! The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the bus stop to the busier places in Santorini - Fira and Oia.
Our room was basic but aesthetic and fairly clean, although there were a few bits of dust and hair around our bedroom when we arrived and the bathroom was a little rough around the edges in places.
The pool areas were beautiful but the main pool needed a clean! There was a green film around the inside of the pool meaning we didn’t want to touch the edges. We were hoping this would be cleaned during our stay but it never was. I was desperate to scrub it myself!
The hotel was fairly quiet (we went the week before the summer holidays started) so we didn’t struggle to find sunbeds or daybeds but there could be less chairs and more beds for when it gets busier! (Nobody used any of the chairs in the time we were there)
Processes at the hotel would benefit from being tighter, for example our cleaner visited our room at different times each day (sometimes 10am, sometimes 12pm and sometimes 2pm). This sometimes made it difficult to know what times to be out of her way. Sometimes tables were set ready for breakfast and other times none were. Also, there was often plates of half eaten breakfast food left in the main dining area all day which took away from the otherwise clean and luxurious vibe. Some days we got towels from reception as requested then there were already fresh towels out on sunbeds for us when we arrived. So other days we didn’t pick up towels on our way past then there were no towels out when we arrived so we had to go back.
The sales lady from the spa was quite pushy when talking to us around the pool - we told her we would like a treatment and pointed out which ones and she continued to upsell, encouraging us to choose longer and more expensive therapies. We stuck to what we had chosen and our massages were lovely but perhaps not worth the amount of money we paid. The therapists gave us other treatments for free whilst in the spa. This was really kind but we weren’t provided with a choice (I wasn’t sure that I wanted a facial massage?!) and maybe reduced the value of the treatments we’d chosen?
The hotel staff made our stay! Kathryn and Maria on reception, the cleaning staff and pool bar attendant were all so friendly and helpful! They were more then happy to provide bus timetables and recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We felt the hotel was excellent value for money.
Overall, I wouldn’t quite say this hotel is 5 stars but it is a lovely little boutique hotel and was perfect for what we needed!
