We have just returned home to the UK after spending 2 weeks at Alesahne Beach Hotel. We were greeted by Lydia who was very welcoming, helpful and informative. Lovely and clean, the staff are great, many thanks to Costas 1 & Costas 2 for being great bartenders - very courteous. The restaurant in front of the hotel overlooks the beach which was prefect and if you're staying at the hotel, then use of the sunbeds is free. The safe in the room is also free to use, which was a bonus, these things certainly add up when you have to pay for them. Many thanks also to Stavros who was such a lovely chap and works extremely hard at the hotel - as do all the staff. We would return to Alesahne in a Heartbeat. Thank you all!
Lovely hotel well run very clean and friendly people not sure of their names except for stavros lovely man helped us a lot would recommend this hotel for family or couples hotel stones throw from the beach brilliant will return next year thank you for your hospitality .Neil Howarth
This hotel should not be booked by anyone. Staff was rude and incredibly disconnected from any sort of customer service. With the exception of two- Salvos and the cleaning lady who offered smiles. Our room- my 78 yr-old mother had to climb narrow steep stairs to an attic room. There was another ladder to a “rooftop” “patio— not superior in any way. This should never be rented as it was dangerous, isolated and unsafe. One window had a shredded old cloth screen that made us concerned Someone could enter our room via adjoining rooftops. Hotel was filthy from orange mold in shower to grunge throughout. The cleaning lady was sweet- however years of neglect were rampant throughout. Bar/food- we did not buy one drink throughout our entire visit- not because we didn’t try- but rather no one would wait on us- for over 20 minutes. Kamari was a great location- this hotel experience a disaster. Clearly an example of ownership sucking out capital with zero reinvestment OR a hotel quickly on the way to closer.…
We visited in May 2022.The Hotel is situated on the front next to the beach in Kamari. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention to Stavros who serves during breakfast. He was very helpful and attentive and also the young man who works with him(sorry I didn't get his name.) The only down side is that there is no coach access to the entrance to the hotel so transfers drop you off and point you to a lane to access the hotel. This lane has rough cobbles and a set of steps before you get to the hotel. If you have heavy cases/mobility problems it would be worth ringing the hotel and asking for assistance on your arrival.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean, the atmosphere was relaxed both within the hotel and around the resort, the area felt safe and vibrant especially at night time. The staff were able to offer advice for trips and excursions, travelling around the island by local bus was both efficient, fun and represented good value for money.
Just returned from a week with my husband . Overall a nice hotel , well situated . The room was fine , the bathroom a little small but adequate . Two things which would improve this are larger towels , they are a bare bath towel size when everyone uses bath sheets these days , and a mirror over the dressing table ! All ladies need a mirror there for hair and makeup ! You can’t dry your hair in the bathroom ! The staff on the whole were fabulous , with a special mention to the delightful Vikki on the bar who was a breath of fresh air with her lovely smile . The young man at breakfast was also lovely as was the cleaner who was concerned when my husband had a fall . The reception staff were ok but perhaps could be a little friendlier ! I would have no hesitation in recommending or indeed coming again…
We are here right now and leave in 2 days. The Aleshane is in a great location, quiet area on the front street of Kamari. It is spotlessly clean all day and the staff are polite, confident and not over bearing. The pool area at the front is chilled with access to bar and loo. Breakfast is traditional but plenty of it in a buffet style. Our room is basic but very comfortable. Kamari is a perfect location to visit all the Island. Busses are regular and cheap. Thanks to all at Aleshane for a chilled holiday.
We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights and wished it could have been longer. The location is beautiful and the Island is stunning. The Hotel Staff could not be more helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent, eaten on an open terrace looking out to sea. Close to amenities and local bus services and nice walks. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Beautiful hotel, few steps away from the gorgeous Kamari beach. Really friendly staff, extremely helpful ,made to feel very welcome. Good variety of food, clean and spacious room with pool view. Would definitely come back . April was quiet of tourists but perfect for what we wanted. Thank you to all the staff you made our honeymoon a trip to remember, Damo and Louise x
