This is a lovely hotel in a great location, it is right near all the gift shops and restaurants as well as the bus stop which was a big help. They also had an incredible breakfast, definitely the best hotel breakfast I’ve had whilst in Greece. There was so many options and it was all delicious!

Actually the best choice. Unfortunately we received two different rooms (one renovated on the top floor as described below and another one on the ground floor, which was quite dark and old and you would not like to open the window to the side of the street). After asking at the reception if they'd have another room we learnt that all other rooms were booked. That's why we had to toss a coin in order to decide who gets which room. Problem solved. So this is now about room 35 ... ;-) Absolutely comfortable. Only thing I'd recommend is to think of a solution that allows to e.g. open window without allowing anyone to look into the room at the same time. Leaving the window open at night was somehow impossible as everyone could have put his head through the window then. Good that there was another window in the bathroom wihich allowed a bit of a blow. Also it would be cool to seperate the key from the card for electricity so that you do not always have to decide wether you go for electricity in the room or lock the door instead. But it's also easy to take the card for electricity simply off the key-ring which makes life a bit easier ;-) Service (Maria/Vassiliki at the reception and also cleaning staff) was very friendly and helpful when we needed information of any kind. Thanks again! Thinking of the breakfast - this was served in Prince restaurant at beach-front. Not only at night a lovely place to be but also for breakfast, which was absolutely gorgeous. You could tell that the person in charge of this really put his/her heart into it. Coffee (which is always most important to me) was nice, fresh bread, absolutely the best croissants ever, a collection of fresh fruits, greek salad, alternating versions of scrambled eggs, cookies, donuts, ham, .... name it - they had it. Plus again a friendly service which didn't chase you off the table even if you stayed longer due to a hangover from the night before ... or so ;-) Even if I didn't fall in love with the island itself, I really enjoyed this place a lot and recommend it to everyone going there (but be sure you have a nice room too).

I booked a Superior room for 3 ladies staying for 2 wks in Kamari. Upon arrival we were shown to our room and it was absolutely delightful, very modern in its décor. It had 1 separate bedroom, with 2 single beds in lounge area, with an option of a "pullout" bed for another person. This is supposed to sleep 5 people, but I would hope that some of these would be children! There was lots of drawer space, but if I'm honest the hanging space was odd and a little short on hangers for clothing. No actual wardrobes, but wooden rails on walls, it was passable but we struggled a little due to sharing about 15 hangers between the 3 of us! Ladies, 2 wk hols and a whole lotta clothing between us..... Breakfast is in Prince restaurant, and was fabulous. Brilliant selection of food, some hot, no toaster but I'm sure you could ask to get bread toasted. Endless supply tea/coffee and juices, and a lovely spot to digest it all too. We were in the central courtyard area which is very pretty. They care for the pots and washed the floor regularly. Rooms cleaned daily, daily fresh towels and all the beds were very comfortable. so easy to reach anything, bus to Fira, lots of places to book trips out (one directly next door), black pebbly beach, you will need something on your feet, hard getting into sea. We found all staff to be friendly and so helpful whilst there, we always had drinks on the beach, BIG thanks to Christos, and a wine,Bellini and Whiskey before bed at Prince, BIG shout out to the lads that served us there. I would highly recommend Kamari, and Makris, would love to visit again sometime soon.
