We had a wonderful two week stay at the Oxygen. The location is absolutely perfect, bang in the middle of the promenade with the beach only a few steps away and more restaurants/bars than you could possibly visit within easy reach. The pool/bar area is lovely and kept very clean/tidy. Nikos and Stephanos were both extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The rooms are fairly basic but perfectly comfortable and kept very clean. There were touches that more expensive hotels normally don’t bother with - e.g. a drying rack with clips on the balcony, a decent number of hangers.

Breakfast was perfectly good. Obviously it is a small hotel so there is a limit on how large a range of food they could do, but there was always an egg dish, bacon or sausage, fresh melon, yoghurt, a continental cheese/meat/salad option, and a range of pastries and cereals available.

The view from the seafront rooms is lovely - you can sit out and watch the sea, the moon, the aeroplanes, and the people passing by on the promenade. However you do get some food smell from Zorbas which is right in front of the hotel.

However: please be aware that this hotel is not perfect. We had some issues with things like the balcony door being difficult to open/close; the shower head being comically broken (half the water came out of the top); the fridge being inexplicably in the wardrobe so we had next to no hanging space; and very intermittent wifi. We’re fairly relaxed travellers so none of this really bothered us (just found it mildly amusing) but if that’s the sort of thing you would find irritating, this may not be the hotel for you!

The only thing I would really change about this hotel is better coffee at breakfast!

Other things you need to be aware of:

There are no room safes.

No full length mirrors in the rooms.

When we went (late September/early October) the kitchen was only open 12.00 to 18.00 so you needed to go out for dinner. The bar was open until 22.30 in our first week and 22.00 in the second week. We didn’t eat at the hotel apart from breakfast so can’t comment on the food.

It is not really suitable if you have mobility issues. It is five minutes from the road and you have to walk (with your luggage) along the road and then down an alley which includes a flight of five steps, with a lot of uneven surfaces.

Our first visit to Santorini and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. We arrived late at night to be greeted with a very warm welcome by the owner Mantha . The hotel has twelve double rooms in all . three of which have sea views on request at booking . We had a pool / mountain view which was lovely to wake up to . The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Hairdryer and a lovely little dressing table included. Also a fridge with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was varied and plentiful every morning , with the option of having it on a tray in your room ! The pool and sun beds were lovely . The beach is just a hop away , the hotel being almost frontline and very central to all the restaurants and bars and the village of Kamari itself. The owner Mantha filled us in with all the best places to go as it was our first visit to Santorini , she was so helpful . A short walk away from the hotel was the local bus stop Lilikas which for one euro sixty you could travel to the capital Fira and from the bus station there you could travel all over the island for a couple of euros . The hotel is small but perfectly formed , but the key to this wonderful hotel is the owners Mantha and her husband Stefanos who made us feel part of their family and very much at home . Can’t wait to go again.

What a wonderful hotel this is! 12 rooms so no big crowds. The location is perfect! Just a few steps away from the really nice boulevard with a lot of restaurants. In the day you can use sunbeds everywhere if you spent about 10 euros for drinks / food. The beach is really nice. The hotel is so close to the boulevard and beach (about 30 meters?) but it's really quiet! Location is just perfect.

The rooms are so clean. Cleaned everyday! Good working airconditioning en refrigerator. There is a place to sit inside and outside on the terrace as well.

Breakfast is also really good! Because of covid you fill in a form what you would like to order. You can switch every day. I got the omelets or boiled eggs, bacon, tomato, cucumber, spinach pie, fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt every day. And all was really fresh. But there is so much more from croissants to cake, other toppings for on bread etc. You can choose coffee, tea or juice. For an extra price you can have a cappuccino as well. That's good.

You can eat your breakfast on the terrace, by the pool or on the terrace / balcony at your room.

Hospitality is just wonderful!! The owners are so kind and will make sure you have a great vacation. Really warm and welcoming people.

I really enjoyed this vacation so much!!

I always try to be objective and honest in my reviews. We’ve just come back from a week at Oxygen, we loved it!! The staff are just so friendly, everyone, from the owners to the room cleaner. We just can’t fault them, nothing is a problem for them and everything is a pleasure! Nik on the bar was top notch, ask him for local advice on bars, restaurants buses he’s a mine of information.
The bar and food both well priced, and we ate dinner everyday here (that’s lunch in the South!!) food was fabulous. Pizzas are some of the best we’ve had (around 10e) sandwiches and omelettes all fresh and tasty. I’d happily recommend the food!
The room is a good size, plenty of wardrobe space, nice bathroom and one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in!! Great aircon and a nice pool view. Cleaned everyday and towels whenever you needed them, they even supply pool towels too!!
Transfers drop you at Black Sands (they own both) don’t be put off, it’s a 5 min walk and they’ll help you if need it. Time from the airport was about 20 mins depending on number of stops (we were 4th drop)
Pool area was great, nice size pool and nice temperature too. Plenty of sun beds so no need for 6am towel rushes!!
The hotel is on the seafront, a 1 min walk to the sea. We often went for a dip and back to the sun beds again!! I’d defo wear shoes in the sea though, black sand and stones on the beach and the sea is manly volcanic rock and gets deep quickly. Lovely clear warm water though!
I’m summary, I’d happily recommend Oygen Seaside, it’s just a lovely place to stay. Kamari is a lovely resort loads of food/drink options too. The biggest plus was the staff, Mantha, Stepanos and Nik, together they are a perfect team.

We booked a 10-night stay via Jet2Holidays. The transfer doesn't take you to the hotel, it drops you about 10 minutes walk away, but we were greeted by Martha, who walked us to our hotel in the dark (bless her). I have to say she and her husband were amazing, both hosts were superb. Martha and Stefanos couldn't have been more accommodating. We loved the location, just close enough to be right in the thick of it, but also far enough away to have a quiet day or night if you want to.
They don't have a restaurant, but the pool bar serves food and drinks daily. Drinks from 8am until 11pm and food from 12pm until 6pm and choices are good, snacks like sandwiches, salads, omelette, pasta, etc and prices aren't too bad. The breakfast was included and is served down a few steps underneath the main block. The lady who cooks is wonderful, she cooked us tomatoes every day.
The pool area was lovely, sunbeds comfortable, and pool towels to use, which they offer to change every 2 days.
The hotel is only a few steps away from the promenade where you'll find dozens of places to eat, drink, and watch the world go by.
Our room was up a few steps and the view of the pool was good and at night the sunset was beautiful. Balcony space was decent. We had 2 chairs and a table plus a rack to hang wet clothes with pegs! Fab!
The only downside to the room was no drawer space, but the wardrobe and shelf above was adequate, and we had bedside space and a small mirror with a shelf, so huge no problem. I took my own hangers as I prefer to have my clothes hung up, but there were a few hangers if you needed them.
Hand soap provided in the bathroom and a hairdryer, which was surprisingly good, so I never used my own, even though I packed it.
Sockets were beside the bed on either side and above the fridge. There was also a shaver point in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was a little dark in the shower but good above the mirror and the bathroom felt fairly new.
I would definitely book here again if we wanted to visit Santorini in the future.
Thank you Martha and Stefanos, and Adonis on the bar (who makes a fabulous cocktail) and everyone else who we met, we had an amazing stay ❤️

We have just returned from oxygen seaside hotel ,i dont always write reviews but felt i needed to on this occasion .
Firstly on arrival you are dropped off at blacksands ( oxygens sister hotel) as there is no road to the sea front where oxygen is based .
We arrived late at night Mantha was there to meet us & walked us down to our hotel its a few minutes walk & you need to go down a few steps
The hotel has every thing you need we stayed in room 3 which is a seaview room which i requested on booking with jet 2
There are only 12 or 13 rooms so even if i didnt req a seaview we would have had a pool view room as they all have a view .
All the staff where very friendly & helpful & we were able to keep the room until our departure which was 7pm at night ,as no one was booked in for the next day .
The hotel is very central right in the middle of all shops & resturants ,plenty to choose from .The beach is black sand very pebbly we bought beach shoes €10 well worth it to save you hopping on the hot sand & pebbles !
You can use the resturants sunbeds as long as your ordering drinks etc.
The bus stop is close by for buses to Thira & you can change there to see the famous sunset in Oia
We choose to do an island trip though for € 51 euros each it ends at Oia to see the sunset .
I would have no issues in recommending this hotel to anyone who wants to be on the beach front in the middle of everything
We had no issues with noise of a night once you close the doors ,shutters if you needed to .
The room had a fridge & aircon which is needed in the heat we had while we were there .
Lastly the breakfast was either bacon & egg or omelette & sausage ,choice of fruits bread pastries ,juice tea etc ,so enough to keep you full
Also the pool bar for drinks & snacks that were reasonable prices .
Missing the views already

Due to late pick up and early check out, our hotel owner Mantha from the Black sands hotel offered a room her other hotel Oxygen for our last night which meant a late check out so we could make the most of our last day,
The hotel is very clean and well presented, with in 50 yards from the beach, great pool and with only nine bedrooms there are plenty of sun beds available. Breakfast is simple but enough for the start of the day.
Food on offer from the bar is excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

After a warm welcome by Mantha at Black Sand, Renos took us to Oxygen Seaside, we were met by Stefanos. Straight away we were impressed by the awesome chilled vibe we got. Our room was lovely, a junior suite, beds were comfy, clean, nice shower and plenty of space!
It was great to have a relaxing time at the pool. It was never busy, although the hotel was fully booked. Stefanos was an amazing help with getting to know the island as it was our first visit. Telling us were to go and he always went the extra mile to help you get what you needed fi renting atv’s. We had lovely chats, he knows so much about the history of Santorini!
Due to Covid breakfast was a bit different, you have to fill in a form and the next morning Stefanos and Sharon make sure everything is ready for you at the time you wanted it. Everything is fresh, we enjoyed it so much!
9 days flew by, wish we could’ve stayed longer. We really felt at home and welcome at this little gem!
The beach is only a minutes walk from the hotel. Busstop 2 minutes. Restaurants and shops all around the corner. Perfect place to enjoy a holiday in Santorini!!! Here you will find relaxation to cool of after a warm busy trip to see the island. Santorini is absolutely stunning!! A boat trip is defo something you have to do as well! So worth it! Thanks for making our holiday one to remember ❤️☀️🇬🇷
Hope to see you again in the future

We are one week in to our two week stay so still here. We were met by the owner who gave us free welcome drink - a much needed ice cold beer. This was at the sister hotel the Black Sands. We were then walked to our hotel 5 mins away and was shown to our room which is room 2 with a sea view. The room has all you need, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, comfy bed, balcony looking out to sea, shower room and wardrobe. Our room is cleaned every day to perfection. The breakfast is so lovely with a really nice choice of food, eggs, bacon, omelette, sausage, yogurt, and more. The pool area is private, chilled and a guaranteed sun bed without having reserve it. The bar has the coldest beer ever (fab) which I’m having to have every day 🤣. The bar tender is very polite and a really nice person. The location is right amongst it all, 20 seconds to the restaurants and sea and 30 seconds to a supermarket We love this place and have six days left to enjoy it. Do not hesitate book this hotel.

Fabulous family run hotel. The staff could not do enough for you. Rooms are clean and comfortable, we had a sea view which was lovely. The pool area again was clean and tidy, Nicko was an excellent barman. Breakfast was a mix of eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, fruit, cheese, croissants etc, they cater for vegetarian and gluten free guests, as I say nothing was too much trouble.
