I really liked Villa Nikos in Kamari. If you have a car you get free parking and you can reach Fira in 10 minutes. Kamari beach is also very close and you can walk in 7 minutes. The studios were cleaned everyday. Very comfortable and with sea view. Air-con very useful. Daniela is a great host. We had a warm welcome and she gave us tips throughout our stay. She also arranged a car for us before we got there. It was so easy. We couldn't have spent better our money during our stay in the beautiful Santorini.

We stayed here for a week and could not fault anything about the villa, the cleanliness is exception, towels changed every other day. The little kitchen area was really great as we had breakfast on the balcony, where we looked over the gardens which were lovely. The owner could not of been more helpful, we left our bags until it was time for our flight. There was an in room safe and water in the fridge when we arrived. The villa is a 10 minute walk from Kamari beach where there are lovely restaurants. For the price of the accommodation it could not be faulted. The only reason for not giving a 5 is the proximity to the airport.

Villa Nikos is located in a very quiet part of Kamari. But action isn't really far away- the Kamari beach is a 15 minutes' walk from the villa and that place gives you all the action you need. But let's start from the beginning. Villa Nikos is located very close to the Big Church. If you are travelling by bus from Santorini airport, board the bus to Fira (the buses are very regular and the bus stop is right outside the arrival gate) and then from Fira, you need to board the bus to Kamari. At 1.8 Euros, the bus will take you to Kamari beach and the Big Church. I've tried walking from both and it really depends on how much luggage you have. The beach walk is quite a distance (takes about 40 minutes of walking) and the other one is about 15. So, you decide! The first thing that strikes you about Villa Nikos is how quiet it is. And the next thing is about how bright and clean everything is. Danielle, the owner, is very clear in her instructions but ensures your stay is comfortable. The rooms are airy and very bright. My room faced East so mornings were BEAUTIFUL! The room also had a sit out and so did most of the others- at least whatever I could see in my part of the house. Food isn't served but there is a fridge, tea/ coffee maker and basic cutlery in the room. A grocery story on the way to the beach sells everything under the sun so I stocked up for the 3 days I stayed there. Believe me, it's no hassle at all. Eating options are innumerable and the food everywhere was great. The room itself was spotlessly clean. There is a single cleaning lady on the premises and she does her job really well! Dimitris is right next door and serves as a great landmark too. It's a hotel cum restaurant run by a family. A 15 minutes walk again takes you to the bus stop where you get buses for Fira every half hour. Fira is where you go for every place- Akrotiri, Athens Port, Oia, Perissa and of course, Kamari. Walk back anytime of the evening or night- it's terribly safe. People are friendly and won't hesitate to point you in the right direction. My first worry when I reached Villa Nikos was, what if I got bored among so much solitude? But the wonderful part is that the place grows on you! I was almost sorry to be leaving it on my check-out date :( I travelled solo and loved my stay there. I would definitely recommend it for- families with kids/ couples/ solo/ friends

My friend and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful stay! The room was nice and comfortable: there was also a small kitchen with a fridge and a freezer, a few plates and some cutlery. The bathroom was small but perfectly comfortable and it also had a small hairdryer which was amazing for me! The rooms are perfectly cleaned every single day and the owner, Daniela, is an amazing host. You can ask for information or help at any time and she is always extremely nice. She also recommended and then booked a tour on the volcano for us and this turned out to be one of the best experiences we had in Santorini! The Villa is located pretty close to the beach and the city center so it only takes a few minutes of walk to get there but at the same time it is in a really quiet area of Kamari, AMAZING!
