The Hotel Anassa is one of those hotels that just gets it right. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Following the refreshing welcome drink, Eva the receptionist took us round the hotel and showed us the available rooms, so we could choose which one we preferred. We selected one past the pool, facing out onto the very quiet cul-de-sac where we were dropped off. The room was a good size for three of us, with a separate kitchen area, big bathroom and lovely balcony. There was even a delicious bottle of local wine waiting for us!

The pool is small but lovely and because the hotel isn’t big, there were always free sunbeds, which made things even more relaxing. There’s a small bar by the pool and every so often the barman comes around taking orders, so you don’t even have to drag yourself off your sunbed. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with eggs, bacon and sausages alongside delicious Greek pastries, cereals, yoghurt, bread, cheeses, meats and fruit. The local cats usually make an appearance if you’re sat outside, so it’s worth taking out an extra slice of bacon for them!

The staff were all excellent. Domina was always really helpful at breakfast and the young guy in charge of the bar was very attentive, appearing at the pool regularly to take drinks orders. Before we arrived, Eva got in touch to ask if we wanted a taxi booked for the airport (recommended in the height of the season if you don’t want to queue at the airport taxi rank) and when we were there, they booked us cabs for the obligatory trip to Oiya. They even booked us a car from the ferry terminal to the airport when we returned from Naxos a week later – and we weren’t even staying with them then. Nothing was ever any trouble and they all worked really well as a team.

Kamari itself is pretty touristy and the beach has been largely taken over by sunbeds that you have to pay for - although most of them let you stay all day as long as you buy a drink or snack and the sea is ridiculously clear. It’s a good place to stay for a few days and it’s only a 10 minute drive from the airport too. There a plenty of places to eat, but the ones on the beach tend to charge a premium for the location. Taxis are particularly expensive (70 Euros for a round trip to Oiya) and you won’t get much change from 100 Euros for a family dinner.

So fill up on the Anassa breakfast, stick a few supermarket beers in your hotel fridge and grab some gyros for dinner if you want to make your money last!

We've really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Anassa.
We are a family of 4 adults, who really appreciated the ability to comfortably stay 4 persons in the apartment, without things being too crowded.
The rooms are so nice & clean & all details are looked after & thought through.
The staff is so well trained & each & every one of them are going out of the way to give personal & nice service.
The pool area is small, but very well maintained & the pool is clean & attractive.
We stayed for 10 days & we all used the well equipped gym every day, during the hottest hours outside.
Breakfast is plentiful & nice, whole restocked with a smile, also last moment.
It's very difficult to find anything not perfect at Anassa.
One thing I wouldn't mind done next time I come on holiday would be an outside pool shower, as the only available shower is near the gym & some people aren't using it before using the pool.
Thank you to the sweet staff..🥰🇬🇷😁

Stayed at this hotel for four nights to begin our holidays in Greece. My wife and I and two older children stayed in separate rooms. Both had nice layouts with a small sink and cooking area. The top room had a lovely curved ceiling and a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast in the morning was really excellent with a wide variety of food. The staff were very friendly and helped with arranging trips and our port transport. Nothing was too much trouble and when I asked for an extra cover mattress it was immediately sorted. The location is minutes to the beach and local restaurants. There is also a supermarket a short distance away.
Would love to visit again in the future.

We arranged our own transport on the taxi ride from the airport which cost €45 when it should have been closer to €25 so would advise possibly booking a taxi company with the hotel beforehand to avoid getting scammed

Our stay at the Anassa was great. We were on the opposite side of Santorini as the more famous towns of Oia and Fira in a town called Kamari. I fell in love with the town of Kamari. We could walk the town easily from our location and the shopping was some of my favorite of the places I had visited in Greece. The staff, Eva, Michael and Fotini were welcoming and very helpful. Eva arranged a transport for us based on how we wanted to tour the island and made reservations for our sunset dinner in Firastephani. They made our visit truly memorable!
Two other points:
Breakfat was plentiful and delicious
Visit the Santorini Brewing Company if you get the chance, it’s on the road from Kamari to Fira.

Great staff, fabulous location, good breakfast.
The only letdown was the daily cleaning of the room it was not done properly.
A bottle of water in the fridge even if it was just for the first night would have been a nice touch.

WOW!!!! Where do I begin. My husband, family friends and I travelled to Santorini for our wedding. We chose Anassa Suites for our week in Santorini. We were absolutely blown away with the beautiful hotel, extremely clean rooms and outstanding service. The entire team from day one was so helpful. We were a large group and they made it so easy to accommodate all of our guests and their specific requests and needs. Everybody was so happy with their room, and the amenities that were offered were amazing. The pool was a perfect place to hangout in the afternoon and the bar service was a such a nice touch. The breakfast served daily was delicious, always so fresh and lots to choose from. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was beautiful, on the day of the wedding the surprised our bridal party with complementary margaritas and snacks. When we got back on our wedding night our suite had been cleaned and was decorated with adorable decor and complimentary champagne. All throughout the week the staff helped us with directions, suggestions with things to do and also organized transportation anytime we needed it. We felt like family during our stay and they made our wedding week one too remember thanks to all of their hard work and dedication. The location is perfect, quiet area yet close to so many shops and restaurants we absolutely loved it. We will absolutely be returning to celebrate our anniversary at Anassa. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for making our week so prefect, highly recommend this hotel you will feel like family and get treated like royalty! We are so grateful for the team at Anassa Hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights (wish we'd make it more) and had such a relaxing time. Breakfast was lovely with a range of fruits/cold & hot food, eggs cooked to your liking (if desired) as well as sweet cakes and more. All the staff were brilliant, from the manager, front desk, catering and cleaning staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was exceptionally pleasant and could always help. advise or guide as needed.

My son and I booked a deluxe room where his sofa bed was separated by a 4ft modesty wall which worked well. We had a fridge, two hot plates and sink, a balcony to sunbath on and a nice jetted bath to relax in after wing foiling/sailing/walking.

The whole place looked a fresh as a daisy, which given this is the end of the season must be testament to the management and how they run and maintain tho hotel.

Whilst the location is a block off the seafront this did not detract at all as we were central for all the restaurants. It also meant that at night our room was silent and peaceful, which matters more than what might be a noisy seafront property.

I was skeptical about Santorini with a family but this accommodation has the most amazing vibe. The rooms are wonderful and spacious and very well thought out. The pool and breakfast were beautiful and delicious. The location was perfect--near a shop, several restaurants and the boardwalk/beach. To top it all off, the staff are so wonderful and warm. They made my young children feel welcome and were also able to arrange transport service that was comfortable and affordable and recommend places to eat. Highly recommend!!!

Great hotel in Kamari, Santorini - Hotel Anassa. Very close (150m) to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island - pebble (with a bit of a dark sand) beach. Inside the sea is a rock and the sea is cristal clear and amazing for swimming. There are numerous restaurants and small shops all around. The hotel personnel was great, friendly and helpful. We want to thank Eva, Fotini, Filitsa, Nikos, Ornela and Giona for making us feel at home, and our entire stay comfortable and memorable. We would for sure come back and highly recommend!

I visited in the summer 2022 with an elderly family member and it was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay, the breakfast included was always delicious and fresh.

The staff were very lovely and were so gentle with my granmother.

The hotel is situated in a nice area with nice restaurants, nature, bars. Wasnt too busy just the perfect amount.

The only thing i would recommend is bottled water provided in the rooms. We arrived late and my grandmother had to take her tablets and nothing was provided for her to safely drink.
