My wife stayed here for 2 nights before heading to Fira for a further 4, in hindsight I would have gladly stayed here for the 6 nights.
The location was great as were all staff members.
It says its a 2 star hotel, I've stayed in 4/5 hotels Hotels which are way below the standards of this hotel.
The room was huge with a lovely poolside view of the balcony, powerful shower and a big fridge
The breakfast was really good value for money, €10 which included toast with optional spreads, fruit, omelette of your choice, yogurt and honey and cappacino coffee
The location was great as were all staff members.

I booked Blue Waves back in 2018 for my wedding party stay that was originally meant to be in 2020. The communication with Ioannis from the start was brilliant, as well as easy when we had to move the booking to 2021. There was a group of 30 of us staying just for my wedding so we pretty much had the hotel to ourselves - Ioannis went above and beyond to accommodate us all, even organised a BBQ the night before the wedding which was a lovely touch. The reception was always available to help order mini buses which always arrived promptly. Aldi behind the pool bar looked after us all, especially our first day when we were very excited to be there! Pool area was slightly small but worked for our group and was safe for young kids in our party.
Rooms were clean - we stayed in a 2 bed apartment the first 2 nights and then moved to the Suite with private pool for the remaining 5 nights which was just incredible!! So spacious, stunning views, huge bathroom and bath tub and the private pool was just gorgeous! Worked so well on the day of the wedding with 9 people, 3 stylists and photographers in one room! The team also decorated our room on the wedding night which was a lovely touch.
The hotel location is great, 5 mins from the beach and Kamari beach front with all bars & restaurants, supermarket directly under the hotel.
The only thing to pre empt future guests is that the hotel requests cash payments for the rooms so make sure you have this on arrival!
All in all a brilliant stay so many thanks to Ioannis, Aldi and the blue waves team x

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Blue Waves, all we can say is WOW.
This hotel was just faultless.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a cocktail and felt so welcome and relaxed ……
The rooms were a great size and were incredibly clean, they were cleaned regularly to a very high standard.
The pool was great and the entire premises was great and clean.
The location of blue waves was incredible, it was a stones throw away from the beach and promenade of restaurants and bars.
Then there is the staff, Vana in particular was just amazing, I have never been to a hotel where somebody has been so accommodating. She could not do more for us if she tried, from ensuring we knew everything about the island, to booking our transport for all of our days and nights out, she also helped booked our Covid tests and was just so friendly, smiley and accommodating, Vana is an absolute diamond!!!
Ioannis, Aldi and Katia were all also absolutely amazing, we physically cannot fault any of them and thank all of the staff for making us feel so comfortable and relaxed and for making our holiday so amazing and unforgettable.
We would 100% recommend Blue Waves to anybody.
You will not regret staying here.

We booked a variety of rooms for family and friends for the week of my daughters wedding. All requests accommodated completely.
Very personal service from family run team who could literally not do enough for us. Extremely attentive and laid on a private bbq just for our group for which we paid a small fee each to cover cost of food bought in especially.
Spotlessly clean standards, beautiful, very substantial and tasty breakfasts which could easily keep you satiated until dinner. Many extras.
All staff, the manager and his sister showed genuine interest in making sure the very special occasion went perfectly. Rooms booked and changed during the stay were facilitated seamlessly by the staff who even moved all belongings for us.
This wonderful team work tirelessly to ensure all needs and wishes are met, they make very good friends with you and they are a pleasure to be around!!!

I visited santorini this August 2020 and we stayed at the blue waves hotel in kamari (a village in the south of santorini). The hotel is very close to the nicest beach and there are mini markets and restaurants near by (try captains corner just in front of the hotel I ate there I guess every day). But what really made it special and memorable is the crew . They are just amazing (giving advice about restaurants and places to visit shout-out to you gianina always there when you need her also very endearing , decorating our room with flowers, making drinks for us when we arrived and when we left). Also the exchange with Yanis to arrange dates of booking was very smooth. They are all very welcoming. Imagine we were very sad to leave the crew , we were really treated as family.
They also offer services for a good price (renting quads and booking transfers to oia or thira or even booking boat trips).

We (Family of 4) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the month of July 2022. This is an excellent hotel to stay in Santorini area. The hotel is just 25-50 meters away from Kamara Beach hich is one of the most famous beaches in Santorini. Hotel has a great location, from front of our room (we reserved Suite With a Private pool) we can see blue waters from ocean and on the right side we can see red color rock mountains, love that view! We love their morning breakfast, it is a freshly homemade breakfast. Hotel also has nice swimming pool and bar. But most importantly all the hotel staff is friendly and very helpful including the owner of the hotel. The hotel owner made special cake arrangement for celebrating my Daughter's 16th birthday on the roof top swimming pool. We reached there after midnight but hotel owner makes all the arrangement for us picking up from airport to dropping at the hotel including driver's help to get all our luggage in to the room even the check in office is already closed, and that was the great help from Hotel. All I can say is this is a great hotel and a great people to visit, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We would definitely go back again in the future. Thank you

We came late at night with our girls and got a quick and warm welcome from Rita.
We got a 2 room with 4 beds, the room is less recommended if you have 2 little kids - the inner room doesn’t have an ac or fan and had to ask for one.
The hotel is very close to the beach

the staff, cleanliness and service are great! Cute swimming pool.
You can ask for breakfast at additional cost and they have great options or just hop to the bakery 2 minutes walk.
Recommend to have dinner at the Captains taverna

We were here for just over a week and had a great time. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel very welcome and this continued throughout our stay and took the fabled Greek hospitality to a whole new level. The whole team were helpful and willing to offer guidance as needed. The location was perfect, a short stroll to the beach, if you didn't want to sit next to the pool, and lots of restaurants but also very handy to visit other areas of the island for which we hired a car for the day.

Me, my husband and daughter had a fantastic week here in July, small friendly relaxed pretty hotel, in a great location, rooms cleaned and fresh towels everyday, towels provided for round the pool, great air conditioning in the rooms, the staff are all wonderful, so welcoming, helpful and always smiling, shout out especially to Masood at the pool bar, who was just great, serving lovely cocktails and food, he brought drinks and food to you on your sunbed and even helped our daughter bring drinks to our room, he would assist with anything you asked of him. The pool area was always kept nice, the hotel sorted all our transfers for us, at very good prices, we couldn't fault anything and would stay again and again. Thank you Blue Waves Hotel x

The hotel is placed 2 minutes away from the nicest beach Kamari.
Rooms are looking very comfortable and the view is either the see or majestic mountain( so either way u win with the view :) )
From the moment we got to the hotel we were met like members of family.
Hotel stuff welcomed us, gave all the information we needed, gave us tips for the best food and best places to visit and treated us like close friends.
Just imagine you have to go back home and u don’t want to because it’s hard to say goodbye to the people, the beach and the island in general.
My mother and I loved the place and we will come back for sure

Hotel have a pool bar which they do serve breakfast, snacs and drinks.But is also next to all shops and restaurants in Kamari
No all day in the afternoon half of it gets shade
Recommend through the hotel... cheaper rate.
