Nestled in a coveted location, the Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort has earned praise from numerous travelers for its close proximity to the beach and local attractions, despite the occasional aircraft noise. The warm and professional staff is frequently lauded for enhancing guest experiences, even when faced with rare service delays. While the resort's atmosphere and entertainment are celebrated, a few guests suggest the decor could use an update. The array of amenities, including the pools and spa, are popular, although some visitors have called for refurbishments. Room cleanliness typically receives compliments; however, inconsistencies, especially regarding towel service, have been pointed out. The spacious and comfortable rooms with stunning views are a highlight, yet some reviewers recommend a refresh. In terms of value, guests have expressed concerns about the cost-effectiveness, pointing to pricey extras and dining options that may not meet expectations.

We were stranded in Fuerteventura due to the Calima and spent 2 days waiting for Jet2 to get us home. So firstly may I take this opportunity to thank the hotel staff who coped very well with a sudden influx of guests at short notice.
we arrived around 20.00, Two coach loads but 4 reception staff quickly checked us in and sent us off for dinner. I heard that some of the other guests said we made the place look untidy because many were in shorts and T shirts.
As we went to find our room a fellow traveller said " No doubt we will get the cheapest room". As we walked in to our room ( 140) the first thing I saw was the bathroom. To be precise a walk in wardrobe, large jacuzzi bath, separate shower with a toilet and bidet. The main room was more of a suite with Queen bed, sofa, table and chairs pleus a tv with UK channels 1-4 . They are not on the tv list so you have to search for them.
We were given half board and the food was good along with the room being comfortable.
I cannot say that I would return as Caleta Del fuste has no appeal to me. The hotel is not in a great location, there is plane noise and the prices are beyond my pocket. A visit to the sauna was 20 euro and the cheapest bottle of wine was 19 euro compared to the hotel I stayed in which was a free sauna and 13 euro for a very good wine.
However , thanks again for saving us sleeping on the floor of the airport

Perhaps the hotel was a little worn and dated to be considered a top 5 star, but everything else delivered close to a 5 star feeling. The hotel itself is very neat and tidy, and fairly large and accommodating, we could always get a seat or sun lounger and the place just felt generally spacious. The staff were very helpful and were proactive rather than reactive, that was nice to see. The amenities were good, a really nice heated outdoor pools, a lovely indoor spa, and a nice bar area. The gym was a little on the small side, but enough to keep you going whilst on holiday. We went half board and the breakfast was definitely better than the evening meal, it just felt like there was more better quality choice and variety for breakfast. All in all, a good hotel in a good location, we would return if we ever went to Fuerteventura again.

We are just completing a week’s holiday and have had a very pleasant time. The rooms are very generous and pleasantly furnished. It is worthwhile booking a room with a sea view - some of the garden view rooms on the lower level are a bit shaded.

Breakfast is excellent with a good choice including gluten free options. However the bacon isn’t up to much - as is invariably the case in Spain.

In the evening there is a choice of restaurants, but I can see no reason to stray from the buffet which offers an ample choice including freshly cooked fish and meat. It really is a seafood lovers delight.

The evening entertainment is low key and of variable quality. Rather bizarrely the lady performing on Wednesday evening decided to set up outside, which was strange as all the others performed inside.

Reception were very helpful, as were all the other staff. Covid precautions were sensibly enforced and disinfection was very good.

For the golfers there is a frequent complimentary shuttle bus to the club (except weekends). Whilst there are limited facilities children, I would not recommend the hotel as a family destination. The beach is right outside the hotel and the town centre a 20 minute flat walk along the promenade, or €5 in a taxi.

Overall a very good experience and we will return.

We stayed at the Sheraton at the end of July/early August and had a fantastic stay. From the moment we stepped through the door we were greeted like royalty, cases and bags taken from and replaced with a welcome drink. Check in with Carlos was smooth and friendly, for some reason there was a request for a disabled access room on the booking which wasn’t required and this was promptly changed while we were taken to dinner. The staff in this hotel are the best I’ve come across and an absolute credit to the hotel, too many to name but Tom deserves the regular mentions here gets on here and this continued during the whole stay.

We went half board; The food was of a high standard although the themed evenings didn’t make a huge difference to the menu but there was plenty of steak and fresh fish etc available at the grill every night. The breakfast was the same every day but still very good and the restaurant staff bring your tea/coffee as you are shown to the table. I am amazed that from day one we’re were greeted by name, drinks and preferred table remembered each sitting. Ali and Jose Lewis were stand outs for this and always interacted with the children well, also the lady who came to greet us inside the restaurant every day Naomi I think.

We traveled with a 5 and 1 (nearly 2) year old and we were never made to feel a burden. The hotel didn’t have an adults only section that I could see but was big enough so that you could find somewhere quiet if you wanted. I’ve found previously with young children you are looked at as a nuisance to the other guests and this was not the case here. The hotel was at full capacity, the grounds and rooms were kept very clean, we could always find a sun bed at the pool and it never felt over crowded anywhere. We stayed in 226 which was spacious enough for 4 and had a wonderful view.

The entertainment was perfect for us as after the mini disco we went out to the terrace at the piano bar to watch the live music. The soul act were great, had everyone up dancing and by the end had to repeat songs because the guests were demanding a second encore! Again bar staff were great characters (Willy and Jamal especially) and the measures were the best I’ve seen for a while! It was generally low key in the evenings and this is what we wanted. If you are after a big theatre show then it may not be for you although the white party was 10/10 and well worth getting involved. The family day was also a nice touch with foam party and pool inflatables etc during the day.

The resort was a 10/15 minute stroll away which again was quite quiet and suitable for families, we weren’t out in the evenings so can’t comment on the nightlife.

All in all, would highly recommend and definitely visit again. Thank you, you have given us holiday memories that will last a lifetime.

P.S. Mr San Francisco says hi!

We were initially staying at another property down south which turned out to be a nightmare. We moved to the Sheraton at short notice, which rescued our holiday.

Room. As a family of four we took two connecting rooms (called a Prestige room) which were more than spacious enough. The furniture looked dated on the website but was actually new-ish and the rooms and bathrooms were clearly recently renovated and in great condition.

Food. Breakfast was good quality with a decent selection of local and international options as well as a barista coffee station, only issue was limited capacity outside. Dinner buffet was also good quality and had a different theme each night but felt a bit samey after a while. Lunch at the pool restaurant was really excellent but rather pricey.

Leisure. The spa was closed due to COVID but the three pools, one atop the other, are spotlessly clean and offer a nice range of temperatures and the kids pool has a good range of slides but only for younger kids. Kids club and playground looked great but we didn’t use. Beach directly outside the hotel was spotless and the water crystal clear and warm but quite small.

Location. Hotel is in between the shopping centre with a range of average restaurants and a decent supermarket, and the local town which feels rather down market. Drive to the airport is very quick.

We’d return for a week or so but probably want more variety for a longer holiday.

Just returned from 7 very enjoyable days staying at this lovely hotel.

Excellent facilities throughout, including perfectly maintained gardens, leisure and pool areas. Excellent choice of food available in three restaurants – buffet, classic Spanish and Asian – with an especially wide choice of dishes available in the buffet restaurant at breakfast and dinner.

Most impressive of all is the quality of the staff – professional, friendly and just very nice. The only down side with the location is that it is directly under the flight path for arrivals to the local airport but this did not bother us.

I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very good in respect of service, cleanliness, and location, but can’t comment on the food at night cause we had a bed & breakfast board.
The breakfast served was excellent with a large variety of produce.
The room we had was superb , with a wonderful sea and beach view (339) as such we spent a few evenings just sitting on the balcony with our own drinks.
The only frustrating thing was that it was situated at the far end of the hotel ( which is huge )
One downside is that it was overrun with kids, they were everywhere, seemingly not supervised by their parents.
Being an elderly couple not used to this , we would have liked an adults only area.
The pools were good , 2 being heated , 1 freezing cold
Drinks fairly expensive, and due to the location quite a walk to the main resort, but a 4 euros cab each way sorted that one out.
A must visit is the Shivam Indian restaurant in the shopping complex, the food is fantastic, genuine Indian dishes to die for.
Also Min7 Chinese restaurant just outside the resort again excellent food
Summary; good if you have kids , not so good if you’re elderly and want a quiet holiday

Stayed at our favourite hotel in October 2022 for the third time in three years, for some much need Autumnal sunshine. From start to finish we could not have felt more at home with all staff members we interacted with all of them being pleasant and efficient in their various roles ,from front of house, cleaning, to catering staff at all being equally pleasant and efficient in their interactions with guests.
The hotel is only a short stroll into the town along a well used and maintained paved promenade that gives you wonderful views over the sandy bay ,and on to the lovely the marina beyond.
As an adult with a registered disability ( Brain injury) I have respectfully asked on our previous trips to keep on our room beyond the normal check out time, and with the support of the guest relations team ,this has thankfully been granted ( Thank you so much Sheraton managers for this accommodation and kindness to a disabled person.)

This is especially important to myself when you have a disability and do not need to feel any more anxious or stressed about your home ward bound flight , if it is a night flight back to the UK.

The location of the hotel, staff group and general all round fabric of the building is Ten out of Ten from myself and wife, and is the reason we keep returning.

I would have no hesitation in once again recommending this wonderful hotel to any one for a future holiday at the Sheraton hotel .

We only booked this 2 months prior to travel. Didn’t know much about the resort or hotel.
The hotel surpassed all expectations. Sure, as some have suggested it might not be 5 star in the truest sense however the people running this place are 5* plus. I could name many but first and foremost Tom who is the absolute heartbeat of this hotel and does everything to make your stay an enjoyable one. Closely followed by Nelio, such a friendly chap, Mohammed & Antonio.
We were B&B and the buffet style breakfast options are plentiful. There is a wide ranging selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, breads, hot & cold options, juices, plus a separate barista bar if the coffee machine isn’t to your liking.
Once breakfast is done you can meander over to the pool area. No need to panic about a sunbed – there were always loads available during our stay. Whether that is different in peak season I’m not sure but we found the pool area to be amongst the best we’ve ever used with a separate area for young children, a large pool, 2 heated pools and a whirlpool area. We used the Veranda Poolside restaurant for lunch a couple of times, but the food here was only average and not great value for money.
In the evenings we generally ventured out into the town which is a leisurely 20/25 minute walk away along a beachfront pedestrian way or a 5 minute taxi ride (under 5 euros). Here there is a selection of restaurants & bars and our favoured ones were Pummarola (Italian) & Fado Rock (Steakhouse). The resort wasn’t particularly busy and we got the impression it will be much busier come August time.
Back to the hotel for some live music in the Piano Bar where an extensive range of cocktails can be found, not especially cheap but a relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant end to the day in comfortable surroundings.
I guess the only slight negative was the weather which wasn’t the wall to wall sunshine we had perhaps anticipated. A breeze we had expected but this was a gusting wind throughout most days and the mornings seemed to be cloudy. I think we were just a bit unlucky with the week we were here.
The flight path has been mentioned on other reviews, I have to say this wasn’t any form of distraction to us, actually quite the opposite seeing the various planes coming in.
We stayed in a deluxe sea view room (most if not all the rooms have a sea view, it’s just the way the hotel was built). The room was very spacious with a large balcony area.
All in all the hotel ticked most if not all the boxes and we would have no hesitation in returning!

Chose the Sheraton for our week's stay largely because it's not far from the airport, is in a quiet location but with easily walkable restaurants and bars nearby, and provides a central base for touring and accessing treks throughout the island.

Overall, we really enjoyed it, and whilst we didn't really make use of the pools, activities or entertainment, we very much appreciated our large, well appointed room and the fabulous breakfast buffet. Room cleaning was a little casual occasionally, and service during one of the two dinners we had at the Faro restaurant was exceedingly slow and chaotic - I think there was some refurbishment being done in the kitchen during our stay. The food, though, was all delicious.

All of the staff we came into contact with were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, but special thanks go to Betty on reception - a true professional whose advice, assistance and smiling good nature were very much appreciated.

We were there last April and although it was out of school holidays there were plenty children around. The hotel put on activities for the kids (can only comment on the pool) but they seemed to enjoy themselves. There's a smaller kids pool. Hotel was fabulous, beautiful beach opposite and the kids loved finding the Fuetaventura squirrels

We went Full Board and it suited us as we just paid for our drinks at the bar as and when. If, however, youngsters are in your group, half board is most adequate because you're more likely to be out most of the day where "treats, e.g. ice-creams, pop etc.," are much cheaper. There's a fabulous supermarket within a lovely shopping centre only a few minutes along the promenade. Right across the road from MacDonalds! Breakfast & Dinner at this hotel is wonderful. Buffet style and you're spoilt for choice.
