I wpuld like to congratulate with you for emailng me 3 days before arrival and telling me and my family that your hotel, after booking 1 month ago, is closed and therefore I have to be relocated to another place of your choice without any refund. I hope you will ho out of business soon so you can learn how to deal with customers
I’ve stayed at various Sheratons around the world, and this is one of the most consistent in terms of service. In spite of each of those members of staff facing an uncertain future, in light of hotel closures due to Coronavirus, they were extremely professional. I saw them deal with a very stressed man sensitively and calmly in reception. The rooms are nice, the hotel is clean. The buffet restaurant offers varying quality. There was only one night that I couldn’t eat the fish which was more chewy than an eraser. The breakfast is good quality though with plenty of choice. It’s close to the airport, but that didn’t bother me at all. I prefer a short transfer. If you are looking for a week away with no stresses then this hotel is ideal. I have only one criticism......there is a chef cooking meat and fish to order, but raw meat and fish were crammed together, and they need to use separate areas for cooking. This is the only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5.…
Having been locked in the hotel due to government restrictions,, I feel the service by all staff involved has been first class and professional at all times. Most still managed a genuine smile when greeting you,, at what must be a very worrying time for all concerned. Some services were understandably lost at points in our holiday. If I had to stay at any hotel under similar conditions, the Sheraton would be the only choice for me . I wish all the staff, all the best for the future and many thanks for a great service.
Perhaps the hotel was a little worn and dated to be considered a top 5 star, but everything else delivered close to a 5 star feeling. The hotel itself is very neat and tidy, and fairly large and accommodating, we could always get a seat or sun lounger and the place just felt generally spacious. The staff were very helpful and were proactive rather than reactive, that was nice to see. The amenities were good, a really nice heated outdoor pools, a lovely indoor spa, and a nice bar area. The gym was a little on the small side, but enough to keep you going whilst on holiday. We went half board and the breakfast was definitely better than the evening meal, it just felt like there was more better quality choice and variety for breakfast. All in all, a good hotel in a good location, we would return if we ever went to Fuerteventura again.…
We were stranded in Fuerteventura due to the Calima and spent 2 days waiting for Jet2 to get us home. So firstly may I take this opportunity to thank the hotel staff who coped very well with a sudden influx of guests at short notice. we arrived around 20.00, Two coach loads but 4 reception staff quickly checked us in and sent us off for dinner. I heard that some of the other guests said we made the place look untidy because many were in shorts and T shirts. As we went to find our room a fellow traveller said " No doubt we will get the cheapest room". As we walked in to our room ( 140) the first thing I saw was the bathroom. To be precise a walk in wardrobe, large jacuzzi bath, separate shower with a toilet and bidet. The main room was more of a suite with Queen bed, sofa, table and chairs pleus a tv with UK channels 1-4 . They are not on the tv list so you have to search for them. We were given half board and the food was good along with the room being comfortable. I cannot say that I would return as Caleta Del fuste has no appeal to me. The hotel is not in a great location, there is plane noise and the prices are beyond my pocket. A visit to the sauna was 20 euro and the cheapest bottle of wine was 19 euro compared to the hotel I stayed in which was a free sauna and 13 euro for a very good wine. However , thanks again for saving us sleeping on the floor of the airport…
