We stayed in a Junior Suite for 5 nights from NYE. Although we were on a bed & breakfast basis, we were invited to the NYE Gala dinner, with a cocktail reception. The food for this dinner was amazing with large amounts of fresh seafood, plus plenty of different meat dishes and the chef cooked tender pork steaks on a hotplate to order. Free Rioja wine was included, plus a disco until midnight, with the customary grapes. Our Junior Suite was spotlessly clean and spacious, with views of the pool and sea, plus a good size balcony with the sun until late afternoon. Breakfast was varied with freshly cooked hot food and the usual choice of continental cold favourites. There was also a good-sized free car park. I cannot understand some of the British reviews about this hotel's entertainment & atmosphere etc as there is still a Covid-19 Pandemic taking place and the rules in Spain regarding social distancing and entertainment are much stricter than in the UK. Two negative points for me, was that there was some aircraft noise during the day, and although the apartment was sanitised regularly, I never saw the sun-beds wiped down at the end of the day. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Thought we'd try this hotel. Stayed for Christmas and into new year, also special occasion 45th wedding anniversary, 14 nights stay. Hotel not worth 1 point, but can't go lower. Good points; Hotel next to beach. Good sized room, number 396, which overlooked beach. Room cleaning excellent every day, and towels changed every day. Bad points; On arrival heart sunk as hotel looked gloomy and in need of extensive maintenance. Broken and missing tiles leading to and in foyer. Foyer and reception area dark and no atmosphere. Not informed at reception they were testing electrics, found out hard way when we finally got to room and electrics kept going on and off. Pool area; Holes in concrete showing mesh through, If you go with young children, make sure they wear footwear all the time. Never saw pools being checked or cleaned. Noticed black fungus on side of one pool. Food; Very disappointing. Breakfast ok, but wouldn't recommend all inclusive. Booking for Christmas evening meal and New Year was a pain as restaurant manager was never there when he should have been. Very unorganised. Reception staff not very helpful with this either. Lifts were not reliable. Water went off in the middle of a shower. Entertainment virtually non existent. Most of the staff were friendly, but not enough of them. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, in fact hotel and food not worth 2 stars. Having visited this island for numerous Christmas and New Year stays, this is the worst by far. Could have gone to another for less money and had a better experience, fact. Eurostars chain not doing themselves any favours, and maybe Jet2 should send someone in under cover to see for themselves. Everyone's experience is different, but health and safety would have a field day! We won't make this mistake again.

I was quite worried before our trip based on some of the reviews however I needn’t have worried as our stay was great. We stayed from 27 Dec to 4 Jan as a family of 4 all inclusive. Food and drink 4/5 - generally it was really good. Nothing was cold and it wasn’t repetitive either so I don’t know what people are moaning about. We did eat out a few times but only because we fancied trying the Smoke House, Fado Rock and one of the Indian restaurants. You can help yourself to wine, beer and soft drinks on tap in the restaurant which was new to me and was great! Try one of Greta’s piña coladas at the pool bar - so good 😊 Entertainment 3/5 - New Year’s Eve was great. The staff did a brilliant job and we really enjoyed it. Barbara did a great job with the daytime entertainment / games. It was just the evenings other than NYE which were lacking. Rooms 4/5 - no issues. We were on the first floor. Our balcony was massive and we were close to the pool and bar. We didn’t have any problems with the room but a kettle or coffee maker would have been appreciated. Pools - really big kids’ pool. Main pool is quite deep. The pools are freezing so be warned! Location 5/5 - The hotel is right on the beachfront and the location is hard to beat. Fantastic location. I went running most mornings and the resort is fabulous! In low tide the ‘natural swimming pool’ Piscina Natural is amazing. Overall we had a great time. The resort is so beautiful and there is lots to do.

We stayed here for four days in December 2021, and enjoyed ourselves. We opted for bed and breakfast, with which we were satisfied. The apartments are spacious, and set in a very large site, though most of the apartments are in a wide arc overlooking the main pool in the centre of the site. We had an apartment on the east side on the second floor, 282, which overlooked the p[ool, and had the sun until late in the evening. During these Covid times we wanted to be able to eat outside rather than in the dining-room, which was easily possible, as there is a largish dining area in the open air to the side of the dining area. Breakfast was very varied and plentiful, and did not close until 10.30am which is more than reasonable. We are returning this February 2022, so we obviously enjoyed our stay, and at about £60 per night the apartments are good value. The kitchen area is small, with a sliding door to save space in the main living room which is attached. The hotel appears to have a policy of providing a minimal supply of cooking equipment as if the apartments are not really expected to provide self-catering facilities, which they obviously can because there are cooking rings and a decent sized fridge. I had to request some basic equipment, such as a frying pan and of all things in Spain a corkscrew! When I requested them at reception they were promptly provided. It just seems a rather unnecessary step to make guests go through, and a mistake in my mind. One day the music at the pool bar was turned up so loud that it was audible everywhere on the site. The volume appeared to be determined by whoever was on duty in the bar. It was loud enough to be intrusive on our balcony, and had it continued would have been cause for complaint. Pool bar music is background not part of the entertainment programme: inconsistency of volume is an issue which management might deal with. Other than these two relatively minor issues, we were pleased with the apartments and the overall experience. Our apartment looked out over the main pool but had what might be called a side sea view out to the large bay at Caleta De Fuste. The public areas and the site as a whole are expansive, and in these times when social distancing might be a consideration when choosing accommodation the space available seemed very safe. Caleta de Fuste is an easy resort to manage. It's flat, and has a paseo maritimo which stretches from one end of the resort to the other, and beyond. there ia quite a large centro comercial about ten minutes walk away from the apartments.
