This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and it is fantastic. Beautiful, spacious apartments, clean large pool, and exemplary customer service. Right on the beach and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back
Good service and friendly staff Clean accommodation and very comfortable beds Beautifully decorated apartment as well as spacious Food was mediocre (we had breakfast included) but given the circumstances of Covid-19 and that this is our second stay, we can appreciate that times are tough for businesses; last time we stayed a few years back, the breakfast was good. Location is right on the beach front and about a 5 - 15 minute walk into Caleta-de-fuste depending on how quick you walk. There are two large and one medium sized pool but we've never used them because of how close we are to the beach. However, the pool (when I dipped my hand in) did seem quite cold and so may not be heated?
Hotel looks great sadly not a lot of the amenities open due to covid which is understandable however breakfast was very poor selection and not very well done. Lighting system in room kept malfunctioning and air con did not work properly. Staff seem to be very unhelpful sad really overall as you know this hotel could be so much better. We did have a room with a great view.
No responses during our stay, no response when we left, no response after their questionnaire, so here is our review for public: We arrived at 9th November. In our hotel room (No. 200) we noticed cigarette smoke. We told it immediately at the reception and she sent housekeeping for spraying once room spray. That wasn’t enough against the stench. I asked if we got a smoker room – no, smoking is not allowed. But why is there no “No smoking”-sign in the room and why is an ashtray in the room? We identified a stinking refuse bin (made of imitation leather?) and put it on the terrace. We ventilated by opening windows but the stench disappeared only a little. After some days the refuse bin still stank outside. I brought it to reception (the receptionist wrinkled her nose) and complaint the stench again. She just shrugged her shoulders. So I asked for room spray that we could use more than one time. She was very very veeery sorry but not proactive. We as guests had to suggest solutions! At last she showed me another room but it was smaller with a worse position. So we got a room spray and ventilated the whole time. Another problem was guests in the opposite room to our bedroom. They talked, laughed and drank pretty loud on their balcony. It resounded between the hotel buildings and pools. They stopped not until 2:00 a.m. I asked at the reception if the hotel has a night rest, because after all it’s a hotel with 4 stars and no hostel or party hotel. No there exists no night rest and I should call the reception if this problem occurs again. So some days later I called them after 11 p.m. She said she’ll call the room. We tried to fall asleep but after 1:00 a.m. I tried again to call the reception – she’ll send the security. Nothing happened. After 2:15 a.m. the chatting, drinking people finally went inside! We got no pay of attention of the hotel because of the circumstances only “Sorry” and no real help. At the 15th at dinner we got a survey. We filled it out with additional remarks and proposal. If we liked to have a response we should leave our contact on it. Of course we did but we got no response until today. When we checked out the receptionist asked if everything was ok. We said so-so. He seemed to be interested what went wrong and askes for the reasons but we had to leave immediately because of our flight. The hotel had one week time for a response but nothing happened so we can only leave our experiences online. It was really disappointing. Other remarks: - The toilet room smelled the whole time like urine (even after housekeeping), there was no toilet brush and no soap dish. - Water for shower had to be drained for a long time before it became warm. Sometimes it changed from comfortable warmth to hot – not only if the other person used the toilet flushing. - The mattress has a nice size but the springs of the mattress are not good. You notice every movements of your partner. For me as person < 60 kg it was furthermore too firm. - There was a clicking noise in the wardrobe (from the broken inside light?). - Rickety windows and doors reduced the quality of sleep. - One dish towel and washing-up liquid in the kitchen would be helpful. - If an additional guest has to sleep on the sofa, the noisy fridge and the freezing compartment go on the nerves. Otherwise, they are practical. - A coat check on the huge hallway would be nice. - Quality and temperature of the food was often poor. Less quantity, more quality would be good. The themes of the dinners are a good idea but the realization was really half-hearted and little to distinguish. Even as a half-board guest you have to wear a plastic bracelet. We recommend to have dinner in a local restaurant. - In the entrance area there is a risk of tripping due to broken or missing floor panels. - Two ladies in the restaurant (Anezka and Ebli (?)) were very dedicated and diligent! We liked the location of the hotel, the perfect view and the almost private terrace. And if there are no sleep disturbing guests it’s really quite and you only hear the ocean. Overall we paid more money for the stay at Eurostars Las Salinas than we paid the last 3 years in other canary hotels with 4 stars and half-board but the quality was worse. A “Sorry, sorry, sorry” (IF they do…) like some hotel write afterwards isn’t helpful and it doesn’t get back the long-awaited vacation. We preferred solutions on site, that we could say that the staff take care of and appreciate the guest but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible. Thanks for reading.…
Sorry this is late but was lucky to have a great holiday with my son at the end of Jan begging of Feb 2020 golf beer food good quality time with my son which we had not done for years loved it. Hotel was great, very clean and room excellent especially for the price all inclusive, now I see reviews about the food and it’s ok you can always find something you like. Staff are very friendly and helpful and Michael the bar person is a star one of the best I’ve ever seen and makes the best mojito. Booked to go back 2021 with my wife. Any chance the pool could be heated lol god it’s cold but great hotel cheers
