Very nice resort. Very friendly service. Royal level food was excellent , breakfast and dinner. Waiter Juanfra is a real star, friendly, attentive, kind and always with a smile. Location is right at the beach/coastline. We went this May 2021. It was very quiet, this was relaxing and a good change from the normal crazy summer. The hotel and amenities have become rundown unfortunately so be aware. Otherwise great managers and staff.
We have been regular guests at Royal Level All Inclusive for 4 years, visiting 3 times a year, every visit has been fantastic, but wondered how things would be this visit in September 20 for 4 weeks, We were welcomed back like family by the luvly laydees Laura, and Marta as R L reception. Settled into our suite which was maintained by Christine and her colleagues daily to the usual high standards. We witnessed how intense the Cleaning was after suites/rooms were vacated it was very intense and thorough, sunbeds cleaned daily, pool bar, with Jessica, Stephanie and Danni, all very friendly, masks worn on every visit, everything wiped down after leaving, we felt very safe. Visited El Ancla Restaurant for our breakfast and dinner, hand sanitisers at entry points, also inside food area, so you could do your hands on entering and leaving the area. Everyone adhered to the distance stickers on the floor, Staff as usual, Eva, Arai, Jessica, Marian, David welcomed us back like family, everyone was friendly, chatty and professional, as were the chefs, great selection of food on offer. Visited Sports Bar for food when we fancied pa late breakfast, again sanitisers at entries, tables and chairs wiped down after leaving. We enjoyed pizza. burgers and caesar salad, all freshly made and very tasty, also had a few beers, while sitting in the sunshine, watching the world go by, Abel and Rosa were spot on making sangria, and cocktails, always prepared with care and attention, Tereza, Tatiannia, Sonya, were also welcoming and chatty, sadly not being overly busy at times, it was still a friendly atmosphere . Everyone played their part in making our holiday very enjoyable and feeling very safe, and they were all genuinely happy to please, the laydees in the grocery shop behind the hotel were also luvly especially Elena, Thank you to you all. We will be back again :) 😎 …
Excellent food ( Royal level) Professional staff Different ‘all inclusive’ concept Beautiful setting of the restaurants overlooking the harbor Definitely worth paying for the ‘Royal level’ Self service pool bar ( Royal level) was definitely a nice touch
This was our 3rd time of staying at the hotel and we booked with a little apprehension due to the COVID-19 controls that would be in place. We were very relieved to find that all controls were in place and that adhering to them did not stop us from having a fantastic holiday. The staff are as helpful and enthusiastic as always and are a true asset to the hotel.
We had an OK stay at Barceló royal level. The room and facilities were good and the hotel management also arranged small gift in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. Unfortunately due to the below points our overall experience was average - check in: no special check in for royal level guests. We were not offered water/ welcome drink. Not much information provided of the facilities. We also had to drag our luggage 100 m from parking till our room down 2 stair cases. Not the best start to holiday after a long flight! Restaurant- due to COVID the restaurant was serving a la cart instead of buffet. This was ok for us but the choice offered was very limited. Only 3-4 different dishes each day. Also the staff didn’t serve exactly what the menu card stated. I ordered fillet of beef and once was served sirloin and other time an entrecôte. The sides were also different each time to that of the menu. Also the restaurant should serve local Spanish cuisine and not curry and rice which was the case on one day! Only 2 waiters which meant lots of waiting time for plates to be cleared. So unfortunately ever after booking the suite our overall experience was disappointing …
