Located in a prime spot for beach and local exploration, Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar provides spacious, clean rooms lauded for modern comforts, despite occasional maintenance and noise complaints. While the hotel's cleanliness and hospitable service receive recognition, some guests have noted staff shortages and slow service.
The array of amenities is appreciated, although concerns over extra charges and overcrowding sometimes surface. The hotel's atmosphere and entertainment offerings receive mixed reviews, and while the location is popular, the value proposition is challenged by additional costs and dining experiences that leave some guests wanting.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel was lovely, location was great, 15 mins from the airport, beachfront, lots of shops and cafe/bars at the back of the hotel in the local area. Pools were lovely, a little chilly some days but I think that’s to be expected. The sunbeds were a little issue as we initially stuck to the rules of no reserving beds with towels and if beds are not being used within 2 hours then towels are removed, however, this was not the case, we saw beds being reserved early in the morning and people didn’t use them until the afternoon, We struggled to get beds the first 3 or 4 days but it was late afternoon before we could get some so in the end we thought If you can’t beat them join them and put our towels on early morning, went for breakfast and then came back to them, it was the only way to get a sunbed in the end. We only used the sunbeds on the beach once as they are chargeable and the parasols aren’t very big. Rooms were good, queen bed was amazing. some of the furniture was a bit scuffed and some bits need a lick of paint but it was very clean, fresh towels everyday and rooms cleaned to a good standard. Food was average for an All Inclusive, if you like pork you will be just fine but for me who can’t eat anything pork related it was sometimes a carb heavy meal. Lots of cheeses, salad, fish, breads, fruits etc, deserts were good but weren’t replenished very quickly. Plates were cleared away quickly and restaurant staff worked very hard but they need more staff on the live cooking, there was one lady trying to cook at 2 different hot plate stations with a massive queue on some occasions. You get served drinks in the restaurant rather than help yourself but check the menu as some drinks are chargeable, however I was surprised that some of the AI spirits were branded so that was nice and measures were generous. You get given 2 tokens to book into 2 other restaurants on site once per visit, however, we did not get to experience this as they were fully booked the whole time we were there. We Would definitely stay here again but maybe explore some of the other bars & restaurants you can use at other hotels in the bay that are part of Barceló too.

Dear Guest, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We apologize for the inconvenience you faced regarding the sunbeds and the long wait at the live cooking stations. We are continually working on improving our guests' satisfaction and your remarks are instrumental for us in this process. Moreover, we regret that the other restaurants were fully booked during your stay, and we appreciate your understanding that during peak periods, availability can be limited. We are delighted that you appreciated the prime location of our hotel, the cleanliness of your room, and the diligent efforts of our restaurant staff. Our team strives to provide excellent service and a comfortable stay for our guests. It is wonderful that you enjoyed the generous measures of our all-inclusive spirits and the overall dining experience at our Tindaya Buffet Restaurant. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you found the proximity to the airport, the beachfront setting, and the amenities in the local area to your liking. The easy access to various shops and café bars surely adds to the convenience and enjoyment of our guests. We value your feedback and would be honored to have you stay with us again, perhaps exploring more of the dining options available at our other establishments within the bay. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best. Giulia Coraggio Guest Experience Manager

Excellent structure practically new or renovated. Large room with double bed and sofa bed, open sink area in the room and bathroom with large shower. Small terrace with double sunbed. The structure of the hotel is very large, being 3 Barcelo hotels practically in one, but at the same time it is not distracting. With the all-inclusive formula you have the possibility to eat practically 24 hours a day, you can eat at the main buffet or at the other Barcelo Castillo structure. There are 4 à la carte restaurants, at the Barcelo Mar they give 2 tokens for a dinner at the Brazilian and Mexican restaurant, so you can dine by reservation in these restaurants. Nice beach in front of the hotel. Clean sea and ventilated area but not windy like other areas of Fuerteventura. Beautiful walk that runs along the beach and the marina. Nearby there is a small outdoor shopping center with various characteristic shops of the place, a little further along the walk there is another hotel, the Sheraton and shortly after another indoor shopping center but nothing special! Also nearby are 2 golf courses.
In the village there are 4 Padel courts for a fee if you go without entertainment, a tennis court, a basketball/football court, 2 18-hole mini golf courts, beach volleyball on the beach. Various pools clean and well kept. Possibility to do various physical activities and games with entertainment such as water aerobics, fitness, step, jump, yoga and more. Sup or paddle surfing are available. International entertainment, both for 3/4 year olds and for 10/12 year olds, evening shows and entertainment during the day without being intrusive. Italian animation three fantastic girls. Even the French animation guys were good. Many proposals.
The hotel offers a barcelo app with which you can see the program of each day for a week, very useful. The varied food with large buffets from breakfast to snacks to lunch and dinner. For the quality of the place I would say good quality although I believe that with a small investment from a professional they would have less waste of goods, because often potentially good dishes are not prepared in the right way. But anyway I'm satisfied. I recommend it and would go back. Even for the day of arrival or departure there are lockers and dedicated services such as changing rooms and showers. Rooms cleaned every day with linen and towels changed.
Paid spa area, nice but useless for me in the period we went, and in fact it is located outside the structure although always connected. Gym, also in the thalassotherapy spa area but free upon reservation. Practical, fast and friendly reception service in all languages. Very good bar service. All inclusive package includes drinks including alcoholic drinks but not everything, with the plus you pay nothing

Visited with my friend for a much needed short 5 night break, neither of us had visited this part of the island so were unsure of what to expect of the town itself but we were very impressed with how the hotel looked on first entering the reception area. On checking in we were informed the hotel was not fully booked so they had upgraded our room, we were in room 7122 on half board basis. The room was huge, a hall, large bathroom, two double beds, sofa and coffee table, coffee maker, tv and a balcony with amazing views. Arriving early evening we changed and got ready for dinner, we weren’t impressed, although there was no queue the food was tepid at best, the choice poor. I had read reviews about long queues in the evening so decided to swap the rest of our evening meals to lunch, and we were so glad we did ! Breakfast and lunch were fabulous, always a good choice never a queue! And we would then eat out in the evenings. The sunbed situation up until the day we were leaving was fun ! My friend wakes early every morning and reads so watched all the beds disappear on the first morning but we still managed to find two in some shade, the rest of the holiday was a early morning game of who could get there first, possibly more parasols would be better ? The complex itself was lovely, it covers most of the beach area, we walked the length of caleta coast most days, and we popped our heads in royal level which looked lovely although they wouldn’t have got the room views of the mar I don’t think ? The town itself is very ‘brits abroad’ expect every British pub name possible, didn’t find an authentic Spanish restaurant in the town but maybe we looked in the wrong places ? Our favourite restaurant in caleta was Algo mas, just a 5euro taxi away at a golf course, the food was amazing !! Halloween looked fun for the children, lots going on in and out of the hotel .

Dear Nicki, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your dining experience in the evening did not meet your expectations. Our Tindaya buffet restaurant prides itself on offering a varied and high-quality menu, and we regret that we fell short during your visit. Furthermore, we understand the importance of a comfortable and relaxing space by the pool. We acknowledge your suggestion regarding the parasols and will consider this feedback carefully as we continuously seek to improve our guest experience. We are delighted that you appreciated the complimentary room upgrade and found the room to be spacious and well-appointed, offering stunning views. It is great that you enjoyed the breakfast and lunch offerings, finding them to be of good choice and quality. Our team takes pride in maintaining our beautiful complex and beachfront location, and we are pleased it contributed positively to your holiday. Additionally, it's wonderful to know that the Halloween celebrations added enjoyment for the children, and that you discovered a fantastic dining experience at a nearby restaurant. Went for a week over half term with our son on a deluxe AI package. Hotel is located approx 15 mins from the airport and although you can see the planes approaching the airport it didn’t disturb us at all. We were checked in by friendly staff and despite arriving late morning, our room was ready by lunchtime so we could hit the pool for the afternoon. Our room was clean and spacious although I really don’t expect to have to pay to use the room safe, this facility should be free in all rooms for basic security. One of my biggest annoyances is where your booking is for 3 people and yet the room is still set up for 2 ….2 coffee/tea cups, 2 bathroom beakers, 2 balcony chairs, 2 cartons of water and this hotel was no exception although we did have a bath towel, hand towel and bathrobe each so brownie points there! The tea, coffee and water cartons were not replenished daily and one day after maid service we were left with no towels at all so had to ring reception and ask for them. Regarding the pools, there is one definitely warmer than the other but people don’t seem to have mentioned that they are very salty so my son used his googles all the time as the water stung his eyes. The volcano stone tiles around the pool does make the area look untidy and dirty. The steps to the little bridge over the pool remained dirty and wet most days and looked like a slip hazard. As it was half term the hotel was busy and we soon learnt you had to put your towels on the sun beds before breakfast otherwise you’d miss out. It’s just a shame when people do this and literally spend a hour on them in the afternoon and that’s it.
There is also not much for teenagers to do. The kids club is aimed at <12yrs whereas <16’s cannot use the gym and spa. The football court next to the spa has to be booked at the mini golf office and unfortunately we found the lady behind the desk to be surly and not very pleasant. The mini golf, which was extra, was good fun and can get busy but we went one lunchtime and had it to ourselves.
This hotel wasn’t the best for food although none of my family were ill at any time. We just found the choice very limited when compared to other AI hotels we have stayed at over the years. We experienced quite long queues for omelettes and eggs at breakfast plus meat grill stations in the evening together with many food stations not replenished very quickly. The specialty restaurants were disappointing. Mexican was buffet style and the Brazilian was just a few different types of meat with very little accompaniment - a small bowl of coleslaw and a piece of corn on the cob each. The idea was the staff would continue to serve meat until you turned your table card over to say you were full but we hadn’t done this and the staff still bought us out a dessert then cleared our plates!
The hotel staff we came into contact with were all friendly and pleasant and the location is great but I’m not sure we’d come back again.

Dear Janice, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Our guests' comfort and satisfaction are paramount, and it disappoints us to know that the room setup for three was incomplete and that the replenishment of tea, coffee, and water did not occur. We understand how important these details are, especially when traveling as a family, and we apologize for this oversight. Moreover, we regret that the saltwater in our pools and the condition of the pool area did not enhance your relaxation. Our intention is to provide a pristine and safe environment for our guests, and we will look into improving the upkeep of these areas. We also realize that entertainment options for teenagers are vital for family enjoyment, and we will consider expanding our activities to cater to a wider age range. Regarding the dining experience, we apologize if the variety and replenishment of our international cuisine at the Tindaya Buffet Restaurant did not live up to your expectations and for any inconvenience caused by the queues. We strive to offer a rich selection of dishes and will take your comments into account to improve our service. The experience at our specialty restaurants should be nothing short of exceptional, and it seems we missed the mark during your visit. For this, we sincerely apologize. We are pleased that the friendly nature of our staff and the convenient location of our hotel close to Caleta de Fuste and the marina were highlights of your stay. It is great that the early availability of your clean and spacious room allowed you additional time to enjoy our facilities. Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment our guests arrive. Finally, we appreciate your kind words about our location and staff. Their dedication to providing excellent service is a cornerstone of the Barceló experience, and we are glad it shone through during your interactions. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back on future occasions. Best regards, Lorena Gaiba Guest Experience Manager

Having stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels world wide, I write this review whilst staying at the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar.
Had a private transfer organised by Easyjet from the airport...superfluous 16 seater for 2 people and luggage. A car would definitely have sufficed.
Check in at the hotel was seamless with Sonia having heaps of energy saying we had a perfect room in the quiet block! Note to say we are half board.
Room clean and of ample size for us both. Also 7130 is definitely not a room for those seeking a leisurely afternoon in the sun on your balcony. It's tucked away and gets minimal sun exposure sadly. With having fibromyalgia, it would have been nice to relax in the afternoon and yes we could have informed the hotel staff but having the energy to move rooms after unpacking late at night was this last thing I could do.
PROS
Friendly staff
Wonderful spacious public spaces which are tended to daily
Food-a great variety of fresh and frequently replenished options in Tindaya buffet restaurant
Right on the beach with beautiful walks along the promenade
CONS
4* hotel that you have to pay extra (if you haven't booked all inclusive) for safe and fresh pool towels at a daily rate of €3 and €2 respectively (both requesting deposits in addition)
Waiter service requires an overhaul in a number of the associated cafes, bars and eateries...long waits for the simplest of orders...never have had to go to the bar for water/drinks before in such a publicised 'quality' 4* hotel where waiter service is standard
Room 7130, a personal negative for reasons stated above.
Overall a lovely, clean and modern hotel with spacious multi functional areas. Just a few, simple tweaks to enhance the visitor's experience would go a long way!

Dear Guest, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We just came back. The hotel has good things and bad things:
Hello good:
- Very well maintained exteriors
- Good reception attention.
- Location. You are neither in the North nor in the southern tip. It has a beach in front, it should be noted that it is an artificial beach, the sand is not wonderful, but it has calm waters without waves. The promenade that surrounds it is very good for walking or playing sports.
- Dolce Vita Restaurant located in the Port I 100% recommend going, high quality Italian pasta.
- Staff in general very attentive and friendly.
Bad:
- Room cleaning. With this I do not mean that the cleaners do not do their daily work well, on the contrary, what I complain about is the thorough cleaning. It should be done from time to time, since it was quite dirty: corners better not to look at, very very dirty, lamps, curtains, mold in the shower, etc... in fact I have many photographs but I won't post them. I repeat, there is no complaint about the attention of the cleaners, on the contrary, they do their daily work that falls to them.
- Details such as: safe deposit box must be paid for. It would be better if those 3 or 4 euros per day were already included in the price, they look very bad on the client...Towels, I understand the deposit of 10 euros per towel that they give you back when you return them, but they make you pay 4 euros per Changing them is ridiculous and again you leave the customer unhappy. It doesn't matter to me that you do it to raise people's awareness about the environment...
- Rooms a little old, especially the floor...closets without shelves! He can't take the clothes out of the suitcase all week!
- We had a late flight and I asked if we could leave the room a little later than 12 noon. We usually travel a lot and they have never objected to extending our stay as long as there was availability and always without a surcharge. Well, here they very kindly told me that if I wanted to extend until 2 p.m., I had to pay 25 euros, and 50 euros if we wanted to stay until 4-5 p.m. Another very ugly detail that makes us not repeat the stay if we return.
- Very basic food. There are no NATURAL JUICES, this should be mandatory in all 4 stars. They give you bottled juices. We had half board, and the drink is not included, but not even the water...they could have the detail of having at least tap water...another thing that remains.
- Eye! Those who take half board do not include the restaurants (only the buffet), they are only included in the all-inclusive! I say this because it probably says it in small print and I didn't read it anywhere.
- Water in the pools...super cold, we didn't swim any day (except for one day my husband) they were colder than the sea. Even the one for the little ones, which is very cool with a slide, is frozen. In principle they are salt water, but they use some very strong product, my husband opened his eyes and came out with pain and redness.
I hope that my opinion helps to reconsider certain points, which are very bad for the client and are very easy to solve.

We booked this hotel as we had stayed at a Barcelo hotel in Lanzarote which was fabulous. Unfortunately this was not. We booked a twin room but we're given a double room..not a problem. There were tiny ants all over the room. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking two bars, one of which was a music bar which was extremely noisy every night (shouting, screaming and cheering) Fortunately I had my earplugs!
Tea,coffee and sugar are not replenished and we were told to buy our own. There's a 'fridge' in the room and when I pointed out that it wasn't working because my milk went off after 1 day, I was told it's a cooler and not to put milk in!
The food was just warm, not very tasty and repetitive. Safe costs 3 euros per day and the pool towels are 10 euros deposit and 2 euros every time you change them.
We won't be going back and won't recommend this hotel. It is absolutely NOT 4+ star.

Dear Judith Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at our hotel. We are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet the high standards we strive to uphold. While we are known for our attention to detail and guest satisfaction, we regret that we missed the mark in your case. Regarding the room allocation, we always aim to match our guests' preferences, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We take note of your comments about the room's cleanliness and will reinforce our pest control protocols to ensure a comfortable environment for our guests. Your feedback about the noise from nearby establishments has been duly noted. While these venues are independent of our hotel, we understand they can impact our guests' experiences. We are saddened to learn that the dining options did not delight your palate, and we will pass your comments to our culinary team for review. As for the amenities, our policy is to provide an initial setup, and we apologize if this was not clearly communicated upon arrival. The in-room cooler is designed to maintain the temperature of beverages and we regret any misunderstanding regarding its functionality. Lastly, the charges for the safe and pool towels are part of our efforts to offer additional services while maintaining the value of our all-inclusive program, which we hope was otherwise enjoyable. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a much-improved experience in the future. Warm regards, Equipo del Barceló Fuerteventura Mar

Disappointment
'It's a hotel where we didn't feel welcome.
For those going with children between 5 and 9 years old, the pools are not recommended as they are 1.20 MT high, and the children's pools and pools for children up to 3/4 years old are very short.
The pool loungers are occupied early in the morning or until dawn with towels but we don't see people and so we never got a lounge chair during the time we were there, except in the late afternoon, which was when people started to come. to go out. It was forbidden to occupy places without being there but no one at the hotel took sufficient measures about this. All they had to do at 9am was check that the towels were laid out but no one was visible in the pool and then they had to remove the towels.
The worst thing about this hotel is the food because it's not of high quality, there's not much variety and you'll eat the same thing every day, which becomes unbearable for 8 days. They also don't think much about children at mealtimes as the variety and type of food is not appealing to them. For babies, the hotel already has more appropriate treatment. Sometimes we feel like we are eating in a canteen...
For snacks, there are no options, such as yogurt, or bread, or milk or a variety of fruit. 'And a lot of fries, hamburgers, dogs, etc.
They have an option to pay around €30 more per day, per person, even for the all-inclusive and then there is a greater variety of food or drinks.
''It's a hotel more for adults or for families with babies or very young children.
But if you're looking for a quiet hotel with no queues to eat or drink, this isn't the best option.
There is no playground or activities for children or young people, or games room and the swimming pools are either very high or very low, without any type of infrastructure such as water slides, so it becomes boring for them
The service in general is not the best, the staff are very busy with their many tasks and therefore do not have much availability for customers or friendliness. They are always in a hurry to "dispatch" us.
Of course there are friendly and available staff but not the majority
The hotel tries to find solutions to problems without a doubt but it is not enough.
The hotel is too big and does not have enough infrastructure, services or staff to make your stay a pleasant one.
You will definitely find a better hotel option on the island.

We recently returned from a seven-night break, and the check-in process was quite stressful. We were informed that our room wasn’t ready and were advised to return at 3 p.m. Upon our return at 3 p.m., we discovered a substantial queue of people checking in. Since we had already checked in, there was no way I was waiting again. Therefore, I directly approached the man behind the desk and explained that we had already checked in and only needed our keys. I expressed my frustration that we were having to queue again after already checking in. Unfortunately, the reception staff did not seem friendly or helpful at all.
We booked a deluxe room, but it fell short of our expectations. The room was quite outdated and in poor condition, lacking any unique features. Despite this, the bed was incredibly comfortable and was cleaned daily. I did use the conditioner once because I had forgotten mine, but it was watered down and disgusting.
I wouldn’t pay the extra fee unless you wanted to use the spa, which was inconvenient because everything was done through an app. We were told we needed to sign up with our surname and room number, but it wouldn’t work. My partner went back to reception, and they said it wouldn’t be on the system until one of the reception staff entered our information later tonight. This was frustrating and time-consuming. We believed that as a ‘deluxe’ customer, we had access to a different seating area and buffet. However, due to poor communication, we never discovered the location of these amenities.
The animation team was incredibly friendly and always smiling, unlike the rest of the staff.
The food was average, with the same dishes being served daily. I would be disappointed if I had paid for an all-inclusive package. The restaurant was extremely busy during meal times, and it felt chaotic at times, more like a canteen. There were long queues for even a fried egg, and at other fresh cooking stations. The staff was quick to clear away your plates as soon as you had finished eating.
We noticed that one of the lifts was out of action for several days during our entire stay. The remaining lift was extremely temperamental, often not coming at all. As a result, I had to use the stairs, which wasn’t ideal, especially since I had recently had knee surgery and was still recovering. It was also quite dangerous to get into and out of the lift as a step was present which a few of the other holiday markers kept tripping over, not ideal for people with mobility issues or disabilities.
The hotel has a great location near the beach, bars, and restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here again.

Dear Beckie, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced during the check-in process and the subsequent waiting. Our official check-in time is at 15:00 and we recognize that there are peak times when it can become busier, and we truly regret that you had to experience this delay. Please know that we are continuously working hard to attend to all our guests as efficiently as possible. We also apologize for any confusion regarding the spa access and the communication surrounding the exclusive amenities for our deluxe guests, which should have been clearly conveyed to you upon arrival. We always aim to be as thorough as possible when providing information, and we take your comments seriously. To clarify, the deluxe package does include a range of special amenities, such as bathrobes, slippers, and a daily refill of coffee and tea in your room. Additionally, it offers free access to the water circuit in the spa, unlimited access to our themed restaurants (Mexican and Brazilian), and access to the premium area in the buffet restaurants. We apologize if any of this information was unclear or missing during your stay. Please know that both our reception and guest experience team are always available to clarify any doubts or provide assistance whenever needed. Moreover, we regret that the room did not reflect the quality you anticipated. We take pride in the maintenance and presentation of our accommodations, and it is disappointing to learn that this was not evident in your experience. We also understand the inconvenience caused by the lift being out of action and the difficulty this presented, especially considering your recent knee surgery. Please be assured that the safety and accessibility for all our guests is a priority, and we are addressing the concerns you've raised. We are sorry to read that the restaurant options and layout did not meet your expectations. Our buffet restaurant strives to provide a wide variety of dishes to cater to the diverse tastes of our international guests. We understand that during peak meal times, queues can form, and we apologize for any inconvenience this caused. To help improve our guests' experience, we display peak hours and encourage our guests to visit during off-peak times for a smoother dining experience. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will continue working to enhance the quality and service at our restaurants. Nonetheless, we are delighted that you found the bed comfortable and the room cleanliness to your satisfaction, as we strive to provide a restful environment for our guests. Additionally, it is great that our animation team's friendliness and the hotel's prime location near the beach and local amenities contributed positively to your stay. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back on future occasions. Best regards, Lorena Gaiba Guest Experience Manager

We've just enjoyed a 5 night twixmas break, staying Boxing Day to New Years Eve.
First time in this hotel & we were pleased with our room - block 7, high floor with a large comfy bed and plenty of space. Our balcony was a nice little sun trap.
Having read there was a kettle in rooms, we took supplies of tea & coffee and bought milk from the local shop.
Cleaners seemed to be on the ball as we came back from breakfast each day to find they had cleaned our room.
We were staying half board and had no issues with the choice of food on offer in the restaurant. We were grateful that we could swap evening meals to lunchtime if we wanted to eat out on an evening. Just be careful when going to the chefs cooking and ensure their food is cooked throughout as I ended up with a pork loin that wasn't cooked in the middle.
Plenty of sunbeds around the pools, never had an issue getting one if we went down later in the day.
Didn't use the bars in the hotel so can't comment re service.
Having stayed in the resort before, if you like a good curry, visit Fusion 55 across the square. There's also a Hyperdino just down from it

Does a/I include all soft drinks everywhere all the time and does it include all the food everywhere
Yes it is we ate all our meals in the restaurant, but the snack bar near the pool had self service soft drinks, wine and beer, food was available from 11. o’clock till about 5, sandwiches, pizza, burgers chips and salad
if you are all-incl. superior room, safe and towels plus dining area upgrade are free , included . others pay by card deposit and refunded at checkout . all bars and restaurants are cashless , sign your receipt , keep your copy . if you are concerned about cashflow , you can pay your account on a daily basis at reception, or when most suitable to you. tips to staff are still cash .
request upgrade at start of check-in. price varies dependant on dates of travel , also whether all-incl' or all-icl . superior room . best to contact excellent customer services before travelling with dates , booking confirmation number , and upgrade required , to get exact prices . this allows time to decide , as it is very hard to decide at a very busy check-in desk . give yourself time to research what you want online and avoid disappointment .
