Room: My husband and I stayed in the studio room with a view. The view overlooked the marina and was an excellent place to watch the sunset while drinking a glass of wine on the balcony. Our room was much larger than expected and the...More
Getaway for a day trip or a few days holiday. Plenty of things to see and do or just do nothing. The resort was closed for a while and became quite run down. It is now greatly improved with more than adequate facilities.
This is such a beautiful resort. All the staff are super helpful and very friendly. An excellent range of activities catered for all ages some free and some at a cost.
Having a massage at the day spa tomorrow and cant wait.

Stunning place with everything within walking distance. So many activities for the kids and a relaxing place to enjoy with family.
The resort accommodation seems a little run down, not enough attention to detail and signs and maps are not that easy to follow.
I have been around many island resorts and marinas but nothing compares to this place. My biggest worry is that if I place the accolades this place deserves on it, it will become overrun by clients and I won't be able to freely access it...More

Management and staff at the Resort have suffered much hurt and disappointment over this very unfortunate incident, which has also upset people that learned of this through the media. We would appreciate if you could respectfully allow us to deal with this delicate matter responsibly and professionally as we feel we have done to date.
Regrettably, as reported in the Gold Coast Bulletin, a now former staff member was involved in an incident that resulted in the death of a wallaby. The staff member involved was summarily dismissed upon us being notified of the incident.
All of our wallabies are tame and are wonderful friends of the resort, our staff and guests. We have several hundred wallabies who live amongst us as friends.
A formal report and investigation into the incident was completed and this report has been sent to the RSPCA and the inspectorate is assisting us in this regard.
We as a resort love the wild life that lives among us and love the joy our large family of wallabies bring to guests and staff.
