We stayed here overnight but wished it had been for longer and we will be back soon. The location is beautiful with wonderful views, the hotel very comfortable and the staff are a perfect combination of friendly, polite and very efficient. Thank you.

My sister and I took a friend for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. We were seated at a table by the window and as it was a bit of a blustery day it was quite chilly as there was a draught through the window! The waiter arrived to take our drinks order. My sister and friend

Dear Jane Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you were disappointed with the experience at the Cavendish and I have discussed the points you made with both the Restaurant and Kitchen teams. As I understand it, the shortcomings you experienced in terms of the afternoon tea items were rectified at the time (some items being replaced with alternatives) which seems to have been omitted from your feedback. The traditional way of presenting scones is, I believe, with clotted cream and jam - there would be no problem in accommodating any request for butter - you only have to ask! Kind regards Philip Joseph

The Hotel offered to look after our bags when we arrived on the Friday. Unsure about tickets, but ours were purchased in advance. There was quite a queue when we arrived on Friday lunchtime for those without tickets.
