We stayed in the chauffeur's cottage at Te Kiteroa Lodge, had dinner at the Vines winery restaurant. Ann willingly showed us the lodge the following day explaining the changes and history. This whole property was an amazing find... on the hills overlooking the autumnal vineyards with views of Waimate and the surrounding countryside to the sea. The climb to see...

Feel privileged to have stayed in Turret Room ,with such great views over the country side, vine yards ,Waimate town and coast. Enjoyed our evening meal and wine at Vines Restaurant across the road ,which had good atmosphere and good views once again. Excellent nights sleep and full cooked breakfast in historic surroundings. We will be back

Spent two nights here recently in the turret room. Everything in this splendid house is immaculate and rather opulent. The turret room is extremely spacious and affords wonderful views across Waimate. The hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating and the restaurant which sits just beside the property is divine. The only slight critique I would have is that it would...

Our family group of ten stayed for two nights recently. We have had many reunions at various locations over the last twenty years but this was one of the best. The venue was great and hosts Ann and Gary made our stay something special. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Also made time to...

Booked just a one night stay at this property, and certainly hope to return. Stayed in a turret room, and it was extremely spacious (more a suite than a room), beautifully furnished and with fantastic views across the countryside. As mentioned elsewhere, the hosts were wonderfully welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area. Following a great night's sleep, we...

We came here on our daughters recommendation and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - we loved every second of it! Attentive hosts, superb wine tasting, lovely evening meal and conversation round that rather large table, good nights sleep in a very comfy bed in a room with a fantastic view and then a filling breakfast...

We spent a very comfortable and enjoyable night at Te Kiteroa on our journey from Dunedin to Christchurch, meeting 2 other couples of similar age and interests there. Having arrived early PM, we spent an hour on the lovely deck in brilliant sunshine followed by a superb wine tasting at 6pm. We really liked the Point Bush wines and drank...
