We stayed two nights. Really interesting house, good food and good wine. Fenella is a great cook. I loved her home baked bread. We enjoyed a walk the first afternoon and I a (brief) swim. Highly recommended.
Sublime Lodge's setting is stunning and all the family who live there are lovely. We were touring and staying somewhere different every night. What we wanted from our accommodation was somewhere to stretch out after a long day and relax. All of our other places had had baths, an iron, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Sublime Lodge offered none of these and the room was very cramped and full of quirky items. There wasn't even a bedside table to put your phone/glasses etc. So it wasn't really for us but I can see why some people would love it there.
Very quirk decor - not really my taste at all.We were advised to pay for a special meal by our travel agent which was very expensive and no better than a pub meal - definitely not good value. Glad we were only staying for one night.
We stayed one night at this lovely Lodge. We took a walk including a swim in pool of the creek. Very nice. In the evening Fenella served a wonderful dinner with everything produced by themselves, inc the wines. Lovely room with a nice view.
We were 2 couples staying 1 night. The location is very peaceful if you want the tranquility of a farm/vineyard, but you would need to drive into Kurow if you want to meet many locals. We enjoyed the peace and were greeted by the delightful and welcoming hostess Fenella. Fenella ensured we were well catered for in terms of the local wine, home made bread and a delicious evening meal. Her culinary skills were most impressive. The accommodation was adequate and comfortable and the decoration and fittings were both quirky and interesting. Also enjoyed a tour of Tom's sound studio. Thank you for such an enjoyable visit.
