If you're in this area ( schwabisch alp) you will most likely stay in this kind of hotels. Old, family owned for decades if not centuries. It has an enormous amount of charm. Dont go here if you need nowadays modernstyle. Go to Stuttgart or Reutlingen. This hotel is full of charm. Very nice host that welcomes you, Rooms are...

Nice and quiet hotel not for business use but good for a family trip. The owner is a little bit rude but nice and the restaurant is very good. I will not join again for business but I will recommend for a nice and quite we. Nice view of the castle. Rooms on the standards for the stars declared.

We travelled to Germany to explore the castles in the region and spent three nights in Hotel Adler. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - they welcomed us warmly and we felt at home :) We were a bit lost with the area, so the family that run the hotel helped us with things like hiking routes and travel...

This hotel is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to in my life. I was completely astonished - I travel a lot and stay in hotels at least once a month. If you're looking for a friendly experience in southern Germany then you should not come here. To name a few points: - owners are actively rude for...

There really isn't anything to choose from in this small country except some small B&B types. Hard to find anything good really as we looked around town and found almost nothing. This place was ok but it has seen its better days. Rooms were sufficient and nice bathrooms and really a fine breakfast. But Lichtenstein could use a 5 star...

We had an unforgettable dinner. The owner is also an excellent chef. Trouts came right from the backyard river . So beautiful that I was bit sad to see them dying. Breakfast room has a fantastic view of the Liechtenstein Castle. Honau is such a tiny little village but the castle is one of the most beautiful .

Hotel staff was not to be found at the front desk when we arrived. We rang the bell and waited for someone to show up. When they finally showed up, we were given a key to the room to check it out and when we came back, again no one was on the front desk. I retrieved the items from...

Stayed there for two nights and it was a nightmare: The hotel is directly on a very, very busy street. I couldn't sleep all night because of the noise. Rooms and bathrooms are very outdated and not particularly clean. The furniture looks like it came from the set of a very bad movie and the beds are very narrow and...

When I found out Hotel Restaurant Forellenhof Roessle Hotel & Restaurant Goldener Helm was fully booked for the weekend, I felt bit sad that I couldn't get to stay in the highest rated hotels around the area. I read the review, checked guests comments over and over, reluctantly, I booked Hotel Adler - a smaller and not so hot hotel...

We Texans have been to Hotel Adler Honau 3 times now, and hope God willing there'll be more! Mrs Marta Walker (host-owner) is a charmer! The view from the room of Lichtenstein Castle is unequaled! as is the fresh brook trout (Forelle Blau) chef gets out of the little river in back of the hotel. The chef prepares it just...

“We like room #8 (the room we stayed), good size, nice view, lot's of windows, good value and a very clean room! - It's a perfect room for short stay. A good chief working in the kitchen! In this old transition/fashion town, it'll be difficult to find a ultra modern hotel with sophisticated/stylish decor. You should feel lucky to find something you don't complain much!”
