We stayed at Il Filare for 2 nights a d loved every minute. Manuel, our host, is so warm and friendly. We had many great conversations with him and his parents. We took a cooking lesson with his mom and it was wonderful. She taught us not only several dishes to make but also the history of those dishes. They gave us great ideas for visiting the local areas- ones that we hadn't seen in our pre trip research. It's a beautiful place to stay with wonderful food. I do recommend following his instructions on the website, your GPS will not find it. I'd recommend staying here for any travelers looking for a relaxing, countryside stay.

We were welcomed by Manuel, who is a great host, his mother is a faboulous cook: when we arrived 40 Italiaans were enjoying their Sunday afternoon lunch. And we enjoyed not only two faboulous diners, also the home-made liquors, we were offerde to taste.... Yes, every minute of our stay was a pleasure and do recommend this B&B very much!

We had a wonderful time here over the New Year. The food was fantastic home cooking, the family was relaxed and friendly and the rooms were great. The location is beautiful even in snowy winter and the surrounding hills offer a gorgeous drive in. Come here!

A very small but absolutely amazing place. Located on the hills, with plenty of walking options around. The family running it are wonderful, and the cook is excellent. The fresh pastas were amazing, and they were very accommodating in terms of dietary restrictions and making sure we had everything we needed. They also offer half-board rate which is convenient if you don't want to drive out (it's a bit isolated) but the food is so good and diverse you don't mind. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful part of the world. The family that runs this agriturismo are so inviting and the food we eat was fantastic. A wonderful place to stay. The rooms are tidy, clean and have everything you need. The family also run a restaurant from the farmhouse on the weekend but it is still small and intimate. Its nicely positioned not too far from Parma and about 1.5 hours to Modena. Worth the trip.
