We had a very good time in Murite Club Hotel. We went with our children and we enjoyed the large and sunny apartment that made us feel like home. It was clean and hospitable. The food in the restaurant was good and offered a variety of food.

Excellent hotel, great facilities including Spa and swimming pool. Wonderful location set right at the foot of the mountains. Really peaceful and yet lots to do nearby. Nice hotel restaurant and lots of great local restaurants in Bansko and Razlog.

We are a family skiing with our children and came here on recommendation of a tour operator after little snow in God's country of Austria.

Having read all of the reviews before we came out, we were excited that we'd actually picked the right place to stay. The pictures in the brochure/online are a little deceptive and the hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere and it is quite desolate around here. Parking can be difficult and the roads around the hotel, actually, the roads around everywhere, were poor with raised manhole covers and broken flag stones littering the roads. Break a hire car if you drive here, not your own!

We are still here, and have paid for half board. I can only be grateful that we didn't buy all inclusive. The food is unimaginative, bland, dry we were told that if anything was cold, then it could be warmed up for us. Very nice to be offered but it shouldn't be like that in the first place. Breakfast was the better option, with a slightly wider variety on offer.

Drinks in the lobby bar were cheap, if you could get to the bar. There were people smoking cigars in the downstairs games room last night and the smell filled the entire communal areas so we didn't stay for long.

Staff were friendly enough following a tip, but that's just par for the course. The room itself was a little on the poor side. A mixture of tile and laminate floor however the join between the two was unsafe and had risen/split making it unsafe for our feet, let alone the children's. There is a kitchen in the apartment but only 4 cups and glasses. Not even a spoon. If you want to use the cooking facilities then you have to upgrade and buy the cooking package. We didn't want to cook, so felt like naughty schoolchildren by smuggling a knife, fork and spoon out of the restaurant so that we could make a half decent cup of coffee in our apartment.

In comparison to the rest of Europe, ski passes are cheaper. Upper areas are better but the queue to get on the gondola in the morning was awful. We resorted to taking our car up to Shiligarnik and paying to park because it was better than waiting for an hour to get a cable car. Once on the slope, it was overcrowded and extremely cut up very early on. There are a huge amount of beginners here, which is great to see, but also a lot of idiots who go through them like bowling balls. I have seen more accidents here during the week than in my whole lifetime's skiing experience. Obviously nothing to do with the hotel, but people, control yourselves when there are beginners and kids around!!

Would I return ? Probably not. The hotel is not for us and although I'm glad I've seen it, Bulgaria itself will be nice when it's finished.

We stayed here for Dec 31st-Jan 4th 2015. Very nice hotel near Bansko (9 km away from the city centre). It has free parking and shuttle bus to the ski zone which is a plus. We were a group of 12 friends with 2 kids and we had a pleasant stay. Pool ans spa zone are very good. Sauna is the best :) after a day of ski. We had room 34A which was small but good enought for a couple. The rooms are noisy as it has no good isolation. Prices are very good. We had all inclusive but I do not recommend as drinks are not so good and if you want to go to ski you will not get lunch.

Just returned from a week long stay here with my wife and son. We found the hotel clean and tidy with great facilities. A fantastic indoor pool! We also enjoyed the sauna, steam room and regularly played table tennis. The gym had limited equipment.
The apartment was clean light and airey.
It was very spacious with fantastic views up to the Pirin mountains and over the pool. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds and both rooms had separate bathrooms, ideal with my son. The apartment was well equipped, modern and stylish. It was also very warm and cosy.
A great apartment with stunning views in an ideal location to explore Razlog, Bansko and Dobrinishte. I would fully recommend a visit.

We visited this hotel in the summer this time rather than the winter. Staff excellent, we ate breakfast there which was very plentiful and loads of choice.
All staff speak excellent English. Would visit again. Wi-fi intermittent at times but the hotel is in the mountains.

We booked this hotel as a last minute deal and we're optimistic about our holiday. After all we had booked a 4* all inclusive break for a week which promised 2 restaurants, pools and the other services you would expect for a 4*.

We flew into Sofia and to our surprise breezed through the airport and baggage collection, our transfer was waiting for us and took us directly to the hotel (2 1/2 hours).
We arrived at the hotel in the foothills of some amazing mountains and we're taken inside. We approached the reception desk expecting some form of hello we have been expecting you to find blank looks on the staff faces. We produced our booking documents which had come direct from the hotel and got told to take a seat as our rooms were not ready yet?

We sat for 30 minutes and again went to see what was happening when we were told we hadn't shown up on their systems but we're now sorting our rooms for us. Almost 2 hours later we finally got the keys to the room. We got pointed in the rough direction of our room but had to wonder around until we found it.

Finally we got into our room which the set up is a first for me. You have one communal door (key card) a small hallway which leads to 2 doors. We had only booked a double so had the keys to room A. We opened the door and walked in. The bed was poorly made the carpet stained and the window was hanging off its hinges. The bathroom had been hosed down with a shower head and there were dark hairs everywhere. Then we noticed we had a door at the end of the room which accessed a balcony. Only this balcony was also accessed by the two other doors from other rooms. There was barely space for 3 people on this balcony and it mean there was not much privacy as the door onto the balcony is floor to ceiling glass with a basis curtain the only thing stopping people in the other room looking in.

We complained about this and we're given a second room but they were all of the same set up and all poorly maintained. Getting your room cleaned/towels changed etc was also a nightmare as the cleaners only seem to come once a week. Something you would not expect at a 4* hotel.

After a long day travelling we went downstairs to the main restaurant, this turned out to be the only restaurant despite the website stating it had 2! Snack time as they called it was a poor selection of dry, stale pastries which if you were prepared to fight off children who just push their way in front of you were not worth the hastle.

Food here is awful. Chicken nuggets and chips were the best offering on two occasions and we food was bought out it was already stone cold and got mildly warmed by the water baths they were sat in. You had to share your food with flies and children's grubby mitts who clearly have no idea how a queue works let alone personal space.

Staff in the restaurant were unhelpful and there is no waited service. You rely on yourself to get drinks. If you wanted beer/fizzy you were alright however if you wanted tea or coffee you were lucky if the machine worked or there was any mugs for you to use.

Nearly all the plates in the restaurant are chipped or damaged and they often ran out which meant any warm food brought out went cold before you could plate it. Also none of the food was labelled and whilst I am not a fussy eater I think someone with allergies would struggle.

The outdoor space of the hotel is way too small for the number of rooms, th8ere is a indoor and outdoor pool with a limited number of sun loungers around. The bar outside was never manned which meant that people were walking through the restaurant dripping wet to get drinks. I didn't use the outside pool because you couldn't get near for screaming children who didn't seem to have an adult with them. The indoor pool was pleasant but after about an hour of being opened had a cloudy appearance as well as many hidden dangers. Tiles were broken and missing, I actually grazed myself on the edge of one, there was a large hole in the floor of the deep end with jagged edges and submerged at the deep end was a rope tied across the pool, I assume this was to stop people diving in however this made doing lengths impossible. There was one life guard between both pools which if you were lucky was actually paying attention rather than smoking or drinking if you got into difficulties in the pool it may be some time before anyone came to your aid.

There is a small shop in the hotel and when the sun is out it does get lovely and hot, this shop is the only place you can get ice cream from which you have to pay for and the shop is hardly ever open. When it is you have to walk around the reception area looking for the staff to come unlock the freezer and then charge you and arm and leg for your ice cream.

In general this hotel is not cut out as an all inclusive resort. It has the potential too but not as a 4* venue. The restaurant is too small. The bar is tiny and they two purpose built bars outside the restaurant they don't use, there is nothing to do near by. If you want to do any activities you have to go to Bansko which costs about £20 return and book a trip or activity from there.

I would defiantely urge anyone considering this hotel to either look elsewhere or pay a bit extra and go somewhere else. It's cheap for a reason!

The hotel was great, the staff, rooms, food and value is excellent. The free shuttle during the day is excellent to Bansko. If you are wanting good value I would really recommend the hotel. It was our second time of staying here.

Unfortunately half the hotel was occupied by ski schools and there were a hundred children running around the whole hotel and restaurants which was very annoying.

Due to the noise we ate out in Bansko every night and had to pay for the shuttle to do so. Only a pound per person, but still it would have been nice for this service to have been free given the circumstances.

Overall great value. Thanks.

We stayed at Murite Club Hotel in the beginning of September. Our appartment was spacious, and cleaned- the surrounding is wonderful and we like it that it was not in the town of Bansko but in the nearby.
Anyhow..... we arrived later (there was a big line on the border, it was not or only partly our fault) and we missed the lunch- the staff refused to give as anything, and we thing that for such cases they have to have lunch packages at least.
The second day the room cleaning service just passed by our room- they replaced two towels and didn't replaced the used shampoo and shower gel. The bed linings were not replaced either.
I found TWO HAIRS in the food- one in a meal, the other in the salad. DISGUSTING!
When i went to the bar to ask for some mineral water with lemon, the waiter put the two pieces of lemon in my glass with hands- this is according to no HASSAP. (Afterwards I wasn't surprised for finding the hair in my food).
The lady in the spa was very rude and totally uninterested in her job. I asked her for an extra towel for the spa, and she refused to help me and to give me one.
The hotel is good for the summer period, because the weather is fine, but the hotel itself consist's of four buildings which are not connected to the main building where the spa and the indoor pool are, and during the winter it would be a problem going out from the spa to the room.

We stayed all inclusive and the food was awful. You have to buy drinks after 10 pm and they charge you roughly £5 for one of those small bottles of wine. I suppose there is a variety but we ate out mostly.

Hi There The free shuttle bus runs quite frequently. Supermarkets and souvenirs you will have to get in Bansko town. It is not too expensive for shopping in the supermarkets, if you have an apartment and are on a self catering basis it is very cost effective. The hotel restaurant is reasonable in price and has a good menu.
