Wickham Manor is wonderful! The building, the farm, the food and most especially the host, Sally, were a total delight. Our stay at Wickham Manor was truly a highlight of our whole trip. It is perfectly located for easy access to many destinations. I would highly recommend Wickham Manor to anyone looking for a warm and picturesque B&B in this... More

We had a very enjoyable stay, it's a charming period property with lovely views of the countryside. Very peaceful, no traffic noise, you can sleep with the windows open. Sally keeps the cockerel in its shed until 0730, so you get a good night's sleep even on this working farm. Sally's a charming host and cooks a great and delicious... More

The farmhouse was the star of the film Mr Holmes and it lived up to its billing. Fantastic location with stunning coast and country walks from the door of the beautiful historic farmhouse. Beams, four poster bed and wonderful attentive service from Sally, whose breakfasts are second to none. We will be back soon.

This historical Manor Farm is beautifully set in the rolling hills of East Sussex. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Loved the bay window overlooking the pastures. The English breakfast was hearty, fresh and delicious. The hostess Sally was charming and informative. We stayed 2 nights and toured the nearby seaside towns as well as Bodiam Castle. The manor farm... More

My wife & I were delighted to spend 4 nights at this wonderful old Manor House. Used as the beautiful location for a recent Sherlock Holmes film, this is a stunning place to stay if you enjoy old buildings with character. Sally is charming host & my wife & I look forward to staying there again. 2 miles away is... More

I spent a beautiful weekend here (1 night) with my boyfriend in October. A beautiful property, lovely and very helpful owners who upgraded our room and served a good breakfast. It's a bit outside Rye, with great views - worth the extra mile.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend who was visiting from Australia. The rooms are beautifully furnished and appointed with all the comforts you will need, whilst retaining the charm of the period (16th century). Sally is a wonderful hostess and has some good tips for eating places in the vicinity. The surrounding area is... More

We stayed here for a weekend and can't recommend this bed and breakfast enough. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The bed and breakfast is in a quiet location in a wonderful historic building where "Mr Holmes" was filmed. We found it was in a good location to explore the local area and can't wait to... More
