Clean, warm and breakfast okay. A bit of a strange check in, which was adjoining the restaurant area. As it says on the tin, a B&B. Breakfast okay. Vegetarian option the same as a carnivore's but without the meat so limited amount. Low on values for ensuring the customer is happy, but not unpleasant. More of a you get what... More

The reviews on this accommodation is mixed but I would recommend as long as you take into account the noise from the snug bar over the road which is open till early hours, the room was very nice, clean etc, staff friendly, think people just like to moan. Breakfast included for very reasonable price which is lovely , not a... More

We stayed here for the night in October 2016. There is permit parking behind the Hotel, you just give your car registration number when checking in and you're safe. The owner welcomed us, checked us in and explained where the room was. We loved it... The bed was large with a memory foam mattress and feather duvet with good quality... More

Rude staff, cold and impolite greeting, dirty room, couldn't have the breakfast as they argued with me that I was a vegetarian. No phone in room so the stated room service was not an option, coils sticking out of the bed, filthy shower, dust everywhere. We liked nothing! Don't stop here keep moving on !!

We stayed 2 nights. It was in an excellent location and the hotel was very quaint.. much better than chain hotels. The room had a four poster bed and was spacious with a kitchenette we didnt need but could have been useful. I read previous reviews about grumpy owner but although i interacted briefly with staff i found them pleasant... More

I spent 2 nights here while on business in the area recently and was pleasantly surprised by what I found at this quirky and charming B&B in the centre of the old part of Hitchin. My room did look as though it had been furnished from a second hand shop but it all seemed to work so well and fitted... More

This hotel has the potential to be so much better. The room was large with a very comfy four poster bed. However only 1 mirror in the bathroom that was dark as it had LED lights on it. Looked great but I couldn't see a thing through it. Hardly any plugs in the right places which I find frustrating. No... More

I had stayed once before and then booked again directly with the owner Georgio I confirmed with and email and contact number and when I turned up to check in he says he has no room and some excuse as to works being done. He did not email me or telephone me and there being no other hotels available that... More
